Laser for men
Treatment on chest is increasingly performed on men. You don’t always have enough treatments to get perfectly smooth skin. Some customers care only about thinning hair. Chest laser hair removal can be extended to include abdominal laser hair removal. Depilation of such a large surface usually takes about 1.5 hours and is not particularly painful if soothing methods are used, such as the cooling tip at the laser head. Another equally popular procedure in men is neck depilation. It belongs to fast treatments, because usually a small amount of hair grows in this area of the body. These are usually long, dark and curly hair, i.e. ideal for laser removal.
For every cosmetic or aesthetic medicine procedure, there are some contraindications that prevent a completely safe procedure. In this case these are:
- fresh, strong tan
- taking supplements and herbal teas (e.g. St. John’s wort, calendula), photosensitizing drugs – retinoids
- depilation with wax and tweezers (at least 3 weeks before the procedure it must be stopped)
- gray hair color (light or red hair reacts less to laser light)
- epilepsy
- skin diseases such as psoriasis, albinism; herpes; cancer
- wounds, strong stretch marks
- pregnancy
- the use of so-called sweat blockers 2 weeks before surgery
In case of other health problems or taking antibiotics, hormonal drugs – it is worth having a list of used preparations.
