VOLUMETRY

Volumetry is recommended to ladies confronted with the relaxation of the skin associated with loss of volume and aging. The treatment is also indicated to slim people, who want to reshape the contour of the face and add some volume to it. To accurately distribute preparation, the doctor performs the appropriate modelling massage of facial skin. Volumetry is ideal for all those who wish to model the cavities surrounding the temples, cheekbones, chin and mouth area and shape the face.

After determining the scope of the tissues correction and after anaesthesia of the treated area, the doctor makes subcutaneous injections of hyaluronic acid, with a needle or cannula. The preparation introduced in such a way is imperceptible and does not change its position so therefore it naturally shapes and restores volume of facial skin. The effect is immediate; it can be compared to a facelift, but gives a much more natural and more satisfactory results. The procedure is virtually painless and is not invasive. The treatment restores natural volume in areas where there was the greatest reduction in body fat. The treatment enables smoothing wrinkles, emphasizing the cheekbones, raising eyebrows, modelling and improving the contour of the face. It is possible to obtain a lifting effect by restoring the volume of tissue.

Volumetric treatment lasts approx. 30 minutes. The treatment is completely safe and does not require sacrificing the daily duties, but it is followed by redness and gentle ache in the injection sites, which generally disappear within two days after the treatment. Immediately after the treatment, avoid the sun, gym and sauna. Do not excessively rub or touch facial area, which was subject to the treatment. Volumetry can be combined with other rejuvenating treatments, eg. with Botox.

The effect of the treatment is visible for approximately 6-15 months – it is largely dependent on the formulation used, quantity, condition of the skin and external factors.
