C Peel — vitamin C for women

When a cream is no longer enough — C Peel for women's skin

For women, C Peel is most often the answer to grey, fatigued skin with no radiance — after winter, after summer, after sleepless nights. Vitamin C brightens, evens out skin tone and helps combat minor hyperpigmentation. We often combine it with other brightening peels in a series. This is the classic C Peel for women.

When it's worth it — indications

  • Grey, dull skin with no radiance — a "tired-looking" complexion that creams alone can no longer fix. This is the main indication for C Peel.
  • Uneven skin tone — when your skin looks flat and uneven, and you want to brighten and even it out.
  • Hyperpigmentation — sun-related, minor, post-inflammatory; vitamin C supports a more even skin tone (melasma needs a separate, dedicated approach).
  • Early signs of ageing and photoageing — fine lines and loss of freshness after years of sun exposure.
  • Skin fatigued by stress, lack of sleep, smoking or smog — the antioxidant "refreshes" skin exposed to free radicals.
  • Instant radiance — before a wedding, a photoshoot, an important meeting; C Peel is a good "quick glow" option with no lengthy flaking.
  • Anyone looking for a gentle peel — who wants to improve skin tone and radiance without hiding indoors for several days.

The areas we work on

  1. grey, dull skin with no radiance, uneven skin tone;
  2. minor sun-related and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation;
  3. instant radiance before an event (wedding, photoshoot, meeting);
  4. antioxidant "refresh" for skin fatigued by stress and smog.

When a cream is no longer enough — C Peel for women's skin

Grey, dull skin with no radiance is one of those problems a moisturising cream alone can't solve. Vitamin C penetrates the epidermis at a concentration and pH that no home serum can match — and that's exactly the difference between skincare and a salon C Peel. The treatment brightens the complexion through an antioxidant effect: it neutralises the free radicals responsible for that grey, tired look, while also supporting a more even skin tone. The glow effect appears almost immediately after the treatment — with no days of hiding at home and no visible flaking.
For women, C Peel is most often the answer to skin after winter (no sun exposure, overheated by indoor heating), after an intense summer (UV exposure, loss of even tone), or after sleepless nights or prolonged stress. It's also a first-choice treatment before an important event — a wedding, a photoshoot, an important meeting — when you need a quick, genuine boost of freshness.

What C Peel does for women's skin — specifically

A vitamin C peel works on several levels at once. First, as an antioxidant: vitamin C (ascorbic acid and its derivatives) is one of the best-studied ingredients for neutralising free radicals — the same ones responsible for that grey, "tired" look in skin exposed to pollution, stress and UV radiation. Second, as a brightener: it supports a more even skin tone and works on minor sun-related and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Third, with gentle exfoliation: the acids in the formula reveal fresher skin underneath, without aggression.
What sets C Peel apart from strong exfoliating peels is exactly this combination of gentleness with a genuine brightening effect. There's no dramatic flaking or days of redness here — just radiance you can see straight away, and an evening out of skin tone that builds over a series.
For combination or oily skin, vitamin C evens out tone without drying it out. For mature skin showing signs of photoageing, it supports repair and antioxidant protection. For vascular or sensitive skin, C Peel's gentleness makes it one of the few peels that doesn't aggravate reactivity.

C Peel and common concerns among women

The most common worries before a peel are fear of flaking and the risk of hyperpigmentation. With C Peel, flaking is usually minimal or absent — it's a brightening peel, not an aggressively exfoliating one. Any slight redness fades on the same day.
The question of hyperpigmentation matters more, and it comes down to one rule: daily SPF 50+ after the treatment isn't optional — it's a condition. Vitamin C brightens and evens out skin tone — but without sun protection, the sun quickly undoes that effect and can deepen hyperpigmentation, especially in people with a darker phototype or a tendency towards melasma. During consultation, your cosmetologist assesses skin phototype and condition — this is key to a safe and effective treatment.
If you're planning a C Peel before a holiday or summer trip, mention it during your consultation. We'll choose the timing and strength so the benefit is real and the risk minimal.

Series, maintenance, home care

A single C Peel is a great way to refresh skin before an event — but evening out skin tone and locking in the glow build over a series. We recommend 4–6 sessions every 1–2 weeks, followed by less frequent maintenance visits. Each session in the series deepens the effect.
Home care after C Peel includes: a gentle facial cleansing gel or lotion (no strong acids), a hydrating, restorative cream, a vitamin C serum as your daily antioxidant, and — without exception — SPF 50+ every day. Skip retinol and strong AHA/BHA acids for a few days after the treatment; applying strong actives to freshly exfoliated skin is the most common cause of unnecessary irritation.

Frequently asked questions

Will I flake badly after C Peel and need to disappear for a few days?
No. C Peel is gentle and brightening — any flaking tends to be subtle, minor and short-lived. Most often, only slight redness appears after the treatment, and it fades on the same day. That's exactly why this peel works well as "instant glow" before an important event. There's no visible flaking here.
Will C Peel remove hyperpigmentation from pregnancy or sun exposure?
For minor sun-related and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation — yes, it helps. Evening out skin tone over a series is realistic. But melasma (hormonal hyperpigmentation after pregnancy) is a separate, deeper issue — vitamin C alone won't remove it. Melasma needs dedicated depigmentation treatment (such as Cosmelan/Dermamelan). During consultation, your cosmetologist will assess which direction is right for your skin.
How is C Peel different from the vitamin C serum I use at home?
In concentration, pH and depth of action. The salon peel combines vitamin C with acids at precisely calibrated parameters — it works more intensively and more deeply than a home serum. A serum is great for maintaining results between visits, but it can't replace the treatment. Both have their place, and they work well together.
Can I have a C Peel in summer, before going on holiday?
Yes, but with care. In summer, and before a holiday in full sun, the risk of hyperpigmentation increases — freshly exfoliated skin reacts more easily to UV. This doesn't rule out the treatment, but it does require strict SPF 50+ discipline and choosing the right timing. Mention your travel plans during consultation — we'll choose the timing and strength to keep the effect safe.
Can C Peel be combined with needle mesotherapy?
Yes — this is one of our favourite combinations: the peel improves the surface and preps the skin, while mesotherapy delivers active ingredients deeper. These treatments are scheduled on separate dates according to the series plan — your cosmetologist decides on the order and intervals. Together they give a more complete brightening and hydrating effect than either treatment alone.
