A treatment room at J'adoreBROWS & LASHES
Straight, drooping lashes can "close" the eye and make it look smaller and more tired — even with mascara, which slips by the afternoon anyway. Lash lift and lamination lifts and curls your own lashes from the root, so the eye looks bigger and more open, and your gaze looks rested. This isn't lash extensions: we don't add anything artificial — we work only with what you already have.
The "24/7 mascara" effect lasts for a few weeks, and every morning you skip the whole eyelash-curler-and-mascara routine. At J'adore Instytut, the treatment is performed by a brow & lash stylist. Below you'll find everything worth knowing before your first visit.
1 visit + a repeat once lashes have regrown
How it works
A lash lift is a lasting (several-week) change to the shape of your natural lashes — from straight and drooping to lifted and curled from the root. The stylist places your lashes on a special silicone rod and sets their new shape with gentle products that "reset" the bonds in the hair structure. The result: the eye opens up optically, and your gaze looks bigger and more rested.
Lamination completes this process — a nourishing, setting layer that smooths the lash, deepens its colour, and makes it look thicker and better groomed. Today, "lift" and "lamination" are practically one combined treatment — we work only with your own lashes, adding nothing.

Fun fact: a lift doesn't add a single lash — yet the eye still looks "fuller". It's pure optics: straight lashes fall onto the eyelid and hide part of the eye, while lashes lifted from the root reveal more of the iris and catch more light. Same lashes, completely different gaze.
Ideal for
A lift looks beautiful on medium and long lashes. If your lashes are very short or sparse, the stylist will tell you during your visit whether a lift or lash extensions would suit you better — without promising results that aren't realistic.
Women's and men's variants
In practice, this is largely a women's treatment, and this is where it really comes into its own. The aim of a lash lift for women is an open, fresh-looking gaze and a "24/7 mascara" effect — with the option of choosing colour depth and degree of lift to suit your eye shape.
The areas we support
A lash lift isn't just a women's treatment. For men, it's about subtly lifting straight, drooping lashes — without tinting and without a "made-up" look. It's lash styling for men: the gaze looks more rested, but no one can point to "what's changed".
The areas we support
A quick tip: the same method works on brows too — that's brow lamination, a "lift" for unruly brow hairs that sets them flat and keeps them in place. A popular pairing: brow lamination + lash lift in one visit.
Patch test
Lash lift and lamination use chemical products (to set the shape) and — in the colouring version — lash tint. These are cosmetics that are safe and widely used, but we work with them right next to the eye, so at your first visit we always carry out a patch test.
If, at your first lash lift or tinting appointment, no one offers a patch test — that's a warning sign. You have every right to ask for one and to ask what products the salon uses. A good, conscientious salon doesn't treat this as an unnecessary formality — because this is the eye area, not ordinary skin.
Contraindications
A lash lift is a gentle cosmetic service, but a few situations are a sign to simply postpone the treatment — until everything is back to normal.
A lift doesn't break the skin and needs no recovery time — it's one of the most pleasant, least "invasive" services we offer. With healthy eyes and a patch test done in advance, it's simply a relaxing visit with an immediate result.
This isn't a full list — if you have any concerns about the condition of your eyes or lashes, mention it to your stylist at the start of the visit. We'll work out the safest option or timing together.
The visit

A brief chat and rod selection
the stylist assesses your lash length and condition, along with your eye shape, and chooses the degree of lift (rod S / M / L) and any extras: tinting, conditioner.

Preparation
you lie comfortably with your eyes closed for the whole visit; your lower lashes are protected, and your upper lashes are placed on a silicone rod attached to the eyelid.

Setting the shape
we apply a series of products that "reset" the lash into its new, lifted shape. This is the stage where you simply relax with your eyes closed.

Tinting and conditioning (optional)
if you've chosen tinting and a conditioner, we apply them now; lashes gain a deeper colour and a smoother finish.

Combing and finishing
we remove the rod, comb through your lashes and show you the result in a mirror. You leave with a finished look — no marks, no bandages.
What to expect
The key thing: you see the result immediately after your visit. There's no waiting, unlike with medical treatments — you leave with your lashes already lifted. What matters is the first 24 hours, during which the lashes "memorise" their freshly set shape.
The most common "mistake" on day one is instinctively rubbing an eye or taking a hot shower straight onto the face. Nothing serious happens to the lashes, but the result may end up weaker than it could be. One day of care — and the lift holds for the full few weeks.
The whole visit is a relaxing experience with your eyes closed — many clients even doze off. There's no needling, no pain — at most a cool sensation from the product near the eyelid.

On the first day, avoid wetting your lashes — no shower directly on the face, no swimming, no rain straight in the eyes. Water on freshly set lashes can loosen the shape before it fully stabilises.
Hot steam and high temperatures loosen a fresh lift. It's best to postpone sauna, hammam and long hot baths for the first 1–2 days.
Skip mascara for the first 24 hours — you won't need it anyway, since your lashes are already lifted. After that, if you'd like to use mascara, choose a non-waterproof formula.
Avoid rubbing your eyes, and try not to sleep face-down on the first night — this can bend the freshly set lashes in one direction.
Oils and oily micellar waters can shorten how long a lift lasts. Choose a gentle, oil-free makeup remover — the result will last longer.
A daily conditioner repairs and hydrates the lashes, keeps them in good condition, and helps maintain a great result until your next visit.

Please note. Lash lift and lamination is a cosmetic styling service (lash styling); the result is temporary and depends on your natural lash growth cycle and home care. For colouring/chemical products, we carry out a patch test before the treatment. The text above is for information purposes only. Details and the choice of variant (including the degree of lift) are decided by the stylist during your visit.
