Regulations for the provision of cosmetic services at J'adore Institute

§1General provisions
(1) These Rules and Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "Rules and Regulations", set forth the rules for the use of cosmetic services provided at the Salon J'adore Institute, hereinafter referred to as "Salon". (2) The Salon's clients are obliged to read the Regulations before proceeding to any cosmetic procedure, hereinafter referred to as the "Procedure". (3) Entering the Procedure is tantamount to accepting the provisions of the Regulations. Each Client is obliged to comply directly with its provisions from the moment of joining the Procedure. (4) These Regulations are not regulations for the provision of services by electronic means within the meaning of the Act on the provision of services by electronic means and apply only to services provided in stationary establishments.
§2Customers
(1) A person using the Salon's services may be any adult customer. (2) It is allowed for minors over 13 years of age to participate in the Treatments, subject to the express consent of their parents, guardian or legal representative. An employee of the Salon has the right at any time to request the presentation of the appropriate authorization or to contact the person who has the right to give consent in order to confirm the consent, and to refuse to provide the Treatment in the absence of consent or refusal to give consent.
§3Employees
(1) Employees of Salon J'adore Institute are properly trained to perform their positions and have all the required certificates, approvals and permits appropriate for their work. (2) Before starting a Treatment, the employee is required to check the condition of his/her workstation and to provide sufficient disposable and protective materials, as well as sterilized tools. (3) Before starting the Treatment, the employee must disinfect the workstation, hands and forearms up to elbow height, as well as reusable tools. The same steps should be performed by the employee during the treatment, if it is interrupted, and after it is completed. (4) Employees of the Salon J'adore Institute are required to keep their hands and nails in proper condition to minimize the risk of scratches and cuts.
J'adore Salon Institute employees must secure their hair in a manner that will reduce the risk of hair getting into the Treatment area. (6) Employees of Salon J'adore Institute are obliged to comply with the regulations on occupational health and safety and fire regulations. (7) In the event of any deviation from the above rules, Customers should immediately report them to the owner, manager or other employee of the J'adore Institute Salon who is on duty at the time.
§4Hygiene and safety
(1) Flat surfaces and other items of equipment of Salon J'adore Institute, with which the Client does not come into direct contact during the Treatment, are disinfected or sterilized daily. (2) Employees of Salon J'adore Institute are required to undergo regular health examinations in order to eliminate any diseases, infections, conditions and ailments that could endanger the health of Clients or transmit to Clients. (3) Employees of the Salon J'adore Institute who have open wounds, cuts or skin lesions secreting fluids that cannot be adequately protected from contact with the Client's body shall be excluded from the provision of cosmetic services until these deviations are completely healed. (4) If the Client is injured during the Treatment, the Treatment shall be immediately discontinued, and the injured area shall be immediately washed, disinfected and secured with a sterile dressing appropriate for the scale of the wound. The interrupted Treatment will be completed at the Client's convenience, at no additional charge, by prior appointment and only after complete healing of the wound. (5) The Salon J'adore Institute uses only disinfectants approved for use in a cosmetic salon.
§5Provision of cosmetic services
(1) Prior to the start of the Treatment, the Worker conducts an interview with the Client to assess the Client's health status, previous and current illnesses and lifestyle to determine whether there are contraindications or risks of side effects, and to provide recommendations for aftercare. (2) Each client shall be thoroughly informed of contraindications, side effects and aftercare recommendations, and gives informed consent to accept them once the Treatment begins. In the case of the most advanced treatments and complications, the Employee has the right to request written confirmation of consent and to refuse to carry out the Treatment in the absence of such confirmation from the Client. (3) Clients are required to inform the Employee of any ailments and contraindications prior to the start of the Treatment, in particular regarding heart disease, use of a pacemaker, cancer, inflammation in the acute phase, history of jaundice and other infectious diseases, pregnancy or the postpartum period, prostheses or inserts (e.g., intrauterine) in their possession, use of medications that reduce blood clotting, and abnormal reactions to the sight of blood or interrupted continuity of body tissues.
Before each subsequent Treatment, which is not part of a series performed at most every 7 days or after a break of more than 14 days, the Client should confirm the validity of the information and interview provided. (5) The Client is required to remove all jewelry before the start of the Treatment. Any valuables should be kept at the Client's own risk.
Clients are obliged to immediately inform the Employee of any deterioration of their well- being during the Treatment. (7) In case of doubts about the safety of the Treatment, the Employee has the right to refuse to carry out the Treatment. 8.The Employee also has the right to refuse to carry out the Treatment if there is a suspicion that the Client is about to cheat or if the Employee suspects that the Client is under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants.
§6Payment
(1) The Client is obliged to pay the fee for the provided cosmetic services. The current price list of Treatments is available on the website: jadoreinstytut.com. (2) The Salon offers the following methods of payment: cash at the cash register and payment by credit card through the terminal. (3) Salon J'adore Institute reserves the right to organize temporary promotions for Treatments offered at the Salon. The conditions for taking advantage of the reduced price or promotional offer may be established individually and will be made public. In the case of promotions, Customers who have paid the full price of the Treatment are not entitled to any claims. (4) Passes are also available at the Salon, which require advance payment and entitle to to use a certain number of Treatments at a fixed time.
§7Liability
(1) Customers are fully responsible for any damage to J'adore Institute Salon equipment. Minors are responsible for damage caused by them through their legal representatives. (2) Salon J'adore Institute is responsible for stored outer garments, if there is a separate place to store them or other items that have been clearly given for storage. However, the Salon is not responsible for items left in the outer garments or in the Salon outside the designated storage areas, especially this applies to valuables, bags, backpacks and purses, which the customer should always carry with him. (3) Salon J'adore Institute shall be liable for improper performance of the Treatment by the Employees. (4) Failure by the Client to comply with the provisions of the Rules and Regulations or making false statements regarding health conditions and contraindications or in the interview shall result in the exclusion of the Salon's liability for the Treatment performed. (5) Salon J'adore Institute is not responsible for the Client's dissatisfaction with the final result of the Treatment, if it was performed professionally, in accordance with the principles of cosmetics and does not deviate from generally accepted standards, and dissatisfaction is due to subjective feelings of the Client.
§8Reservations
(1) The client has the opportunity to pre-book a treatment date at Salon J'adore Institute by contacting by phone or e-mail. (2) Failure to attend the treatment on the agreed date or cancellation of the appointment less than 12 hours before its start, entitles the Salon not to make further reservations for that client. In the case of treatments from a pass - the visit will be treated as a visit that has taken place (i.e. the pass will be reduced by the visit). (3) Customers should report to the Treatment booked no later than 5 minutes before the scheduled time. (4) Salon J'adore Institute reserves the right to make changes in the agreed treatment times, for reasons beyond its control. In such a situation, the Salon will set a new date for the Treatment with the Client. (5) In addition, Salon J'adore Institute reserves the right to collect a deposit on Treatments. For certain Treatments, the Salon may require a deposit as confirmation of the reservation. The amount of the deposit and the method of payment will be determined on an individual basis for each Treatment. The amount of the deposit will be deducted from the full price of the Treatment upon final payment. If the deposit is paid and the client does not show up on the agreed date - the deposit will not be returned to the client. Payment of the deposit entitles the client to one rescheduled appointment - payment of another deposit will be required for the next rescheduled appointment. (6) After purchasing a package - the client has the right to cancel the series, after justifying his decision. In case of cancellation - the treatments used will be recalculated to the regular price, the remainder of the amount paid will be returned to the client in the form of a voucher for the amount - the voucher can be used for all treatments from the offer of the Salon, it can also be given to any person designated by the client as a gift.
§9Complaints
(1) The Client shall have the right to file a complaint regarding the manner in which the Treatment was performed or its effects, within 7 days of the performance of the Treatment or the occurrence of undesired effects. (2) The complaint should be submitted in writing, in person at the Salon or by registered letter sent to the Salon's address. In order to document the performance of the Treatment, photographic documentation must be attached. (3) All complaints will be considered within 14 days. (4) In order to consider a complaint - an inspection visit - in person at the salon is necessary. If the customer does not have the opportunity to appear in person - it is necessary to conduct a consultation carried out with the help of platforms / services / applications that allow Video Calls - in a way that effectively allows you to assess the real condition of the skin. (5) If the complaint is accepted, the Salon will reimburse the Customer for the cost of the Treatment and provide the Customer with the opportunity to receive a free corrective Treatment, which will be performed by the supervisor of the Employee responsible for the original Treatment. The Salon may also offer additional benefits as compensation. (6) In the case of rejection of a complaint, the customer has the right to appeal the decision within 14 days. In the appeal procedure, the above provisions shall apply analogously. (7) If the Client submits a complaint immediately after the performance of the Treatment, he is not relieved of the from the obligation to pay for the service. However, in the case of legitimate claims, any refund will be made in full. However, the Salon reserves the right to exempt the Client from payment if the complaint is justified.
§10Other provisions
(1) Smoking and the use of tobacco, tobacco products and nicotine, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited on the premises of the Salon J'adore Institute. In addition, the consumption of alcoholic beverages, other intoxicating substances and any other stimulants is strictly prohibited. (2) It is forbidden to bring animals into the Salon. (3) Salon J'adore Institute in its offer has gift vouchers - refund of funds for the purchase of a gift voucher is possible up to 7 days from the date of purchase of the gift voucher. After 7 days
refund will not be possible. A named voucher can be transferred to another person. Requesting a refund and transferring the voucher to another person (other than the one indicated in the gift voucher) is only possible via email.
§11Final provisions
(1) Every customer has the right to become familiar with the content of the regulations, price list and certificates referred to by Salon J'adore Institute and its Employees. (2) Salon J'adore Institute reserves the right to make changes to the regulations. The new provisions become effective from the moment they are made available in the Salon. The existing provisions of the regulations are valid for bookings and Treatments made before the introduction of changes. (3) Any disputes arising from cosmetic services should be resolved first amicably. (4) These regulations are effective as of July 1, 2023.
