When it's worth it — indications

  • Anyone tired of daily shaving — fast-regrowing hair on the legs, underarms, bikini line or face.
  • Skin that reacts to shaving and waxing — irritation, redness, "goosebumps" after hair removal.
  • Ingrown hairs — painful bumps and discolouration, especially in the bikini area, on the neck, and on the chin in men (pseudofolliculitis barbae).
  • Hygiene and sport — less sweat and odour in the underarms, a cleaner bikini area, smoother legs for active people.

Female skin and hair have their own logic. Hair on the legs, underarms or bikini area is often finer and more subtle than men's — but that doesn't make it easier to remove. Follicle density differs, follicle depth varies by area, and for some women, facial or neck hair growth has a direct hormonal cause (PCOS, hypothyroidism, post-pregnancy changes). The laser doesn't address the hormonal cause — but it does effectively reduce the aesthetic effect. If facial or neck hair continues to grow despite treatment, it's worth consulting an endocrinologist or dermatologist alongside your sessions.
Laser parameters are chosen for your specific anatomy and hair type — never by a fixed formula. The same area on two different women may require a different protocol — and that's exactly how we approach it.

The most rewarding areas for laser treatment are the ones that generate the most daily effort:
Every area needs its own schedule — the hair growth cycle on the face is shorter than on the legs, so the intervals between sessions differ. Your cosmetologist plans the series to be as effective as possible, not just as fast as possible.
  • Underarms — one of the fastest-responding areas, with visible improvement after the first few sessions; no more shadow or irritation after shaving
  • Classic, deep and full bikini — this intimate area is delicate and prone to irritation after waxing; laser eliminates ingrown hairs and frees you from planning your week around a salon visit

The most common concern — and how we address it

Women often ask about the full bikini area: "Is it embarrassing? Will anyone be watching?" The answer is simple: it's a routine treatment, carried out with full respect for your privacy and comfort. Positioning and draping are always arranged so you feel comfortable. No one judges — we focus on results.

Frequently asked questions

Can I wear makeup the day after a facial treatment (upper lip, chin)?
Yes — light makeup is fine the next day. On the day of the treatment, avoid powder and foundation directly on the treated skin, and don't rub or massage the area for a few hours. After 24 hours, you can return to your full routine: concealer, powder, contouring — with no restrictions.
Can I continue my series during pregnancy, or start again after giving birth?
We don't perform laser hair removal during pregnancy or breastfeeding — we pause the series for safety and comfort. You can resume once breastfeeding has ended. Hormonal changes after pregnancy can affect hair growth, so we plan a new series once your hormone levels have stabilised. We'll discuss your individual plan during your consultation.
Can I use retinol, acids and peels during my series?
You can continue your daily routine with gentle acids (PHA, low-strength AHA). We pause strong retinol and high-percentage acids for 3–5 days before a session and for a few days after, so the skin isn't overly sensitised. We plan professional chemical peels together with your cosmetologist so they don't overlap with your laser sessions.
Do the results of laser hair removal look natural — do the hairs simply stop growing?
Yes — after a full series, most follicles are permanently silenced, and the hair simply stops growing. There's no risk of the skin looking unnatural; it stays smooth, without the dark discolouration typical of ingrown hairs. A few very fine hairs may appear — we maintain results with maintenance sessions.
