LPG endermology (Alliance) for women

Why cellulite is almost the norm for women — and not a matter of "lacking willpower"

For women, endermology is above all about thigh-and-buttock cellulite, heavy legs and skin firming — including after pregnancy and weight loss. Women's subcutaneous tissue is naturally prone to "orange-peel skin," making this the most common reason for a visit. Endermologia LPG for women combines an anti-cellulite effect nicely with drainage and improved skin firmness.

When it's worth it — indications

  • Cellulite — the main indication for endermology: "orange-peel skin" on the thighs, buttocks and abdomen, at various stages.
  • Localised fat and "stubborn" areas — thighs, abdomen, love handles, arms, which are hard to contour with diet alone.
  • Lymphatic stagnation, heavy and swollen legs — a feeling of heaviness, swelling, fluid retention; the drainage mode genuinely brings relief.
  • Laxity and loss of firmness — skin after weight loss or with age, lacking tone.
  • Skin after pregnancy — a lax abdomen and changes in firmness as the body returns to its previous state (after the postpartum period and consultation).
  • Evening out the silhouette after contouring treatments — as support and to "fine-tune" the result.
  • Endermolift (face) — the same technology in a version for the face: lifting, radiance and drainage of the facial contour (a separate treatment in cat.04).

The areas we work on

  1. cellulite on the thighs, buttocks and abdomen — smoother, more even skin;
  2. heavy, swollen legs and fluid retention — the drainage mode brings relief;
  3. a lax abdomen and skin after pregnancy or weight loss;
  4. Endermolift for the face — lifting and radiance for the facial contour, needle-free.

Why cellulite is almost the norm for women — and not a matter of "lacking willpower"

If you have cellulite on your thighs or buttocks despite a slim figure, regular exercise and a careful diet — it doesn't mean you're doing something wrong. It's a matter of anatomy and hormones, which no amount of gym time can change.
Women's subcutaneous tissue is simply built differently to men's. The connective fibres that separate fat cells run vertically, perpendicular to the skin — like closely spaced posts. Under the influence of oestrogen, the fat cells between these posts enlarge and push the skin upward, while the fibres pull it down. This produces the characteristic uneven "orange-peel" surface. In men, the same fibres run diagonally, criss-crossing to form a stronger mesh that masks the unevenness — which is why men have cellulite far less often.
Add to that a hormonal profile that, in women, favours water retention and fat storage around the thighs, hips and buttocks (the "pear" body type). That's why cellulite most often appears there rather than on the abdomen, and why it can intensify before a period, during pregnancy or with hormonal contraception.
Endermology targets exactly this mechanism: it mechanically loosens tense connective septa and stimulates circulation precisely where hormones and anatomy are working "against you." You're not fighting your own biology with willpower — you're giving the skin a stimulus that diet and running simply don't provide.

Four "female" situations where endermology makes the most sense

Although the general description lists broad indications, in practice women come to us at several very specific points in life — and we adjust the emphasis of the treatment for each one.
  • Thigh-and-buttock cellulite that's "always been there." A classic: slim legs, yet uneven skin on the back of the thighs and buttocks. Here we mainly work with the mode that mobilises the septa, plus the lipolytic mode, patiently, over a series — because this is cellulite that's "settled in" for years.
  • Heavy, swollen legs by the end of the day. A very "female" complaint, aggravated by standing or sitting jobs, heat, hormones and flights. The drainage mode often brings relief felt as soon as that same evening — legs feel lighter, less "puffed up."
  • Abdomen and skin after pregnancy. After the postpartum period and a consultation, endermology helps the abdominal skin regain its firmness and mobilises tissue that was stretched for nine months. It's one of the most common reasons women come back to us after giving birth.
  • Skin after weight loss. When you drop several dress sizes, fat disappears faster than the skin can shrink to match — leaving laxity behind. Mechanostimulation stimulates fibroblasts to rebuild firmness, "sealing in" the result of the diet.

How your cycle, hormones and life stage affect your series

This is something you won't find in the general description: for women, it's worth gently syncing the treatment rhythm with physiology to get the most out of the series.
In the second half of the cycle (before your period), the body retains more water — you may feel more "bloated," and measurements can be temporarily higher. That's natural and doesn't mean the treatment isn't working. Quite the opposite — drainage sessions at this time can bring particularly noticeable relief. That's why we don't take measurements "right before your period," but at comparable points in the cycle, so the results are fair.
During perimenopause, falling oestrogen accelerates the loss of skin firmness and changes how fat is distributed — more tends to settle around the waist, less on the hips. That's not a reason to give up — it's a reason to start: regular mechanostimulation supports the skin exactly when it's losing its natural hormonal support, and the lipolytic mode helps "shift" the work to new, problem zones.
If you're breastfeeding, we return to full contouring treatments on the abdomen after a consultation — before that, we safely focus on the legs and drainage, which can be a real relief for the heavy, swollen calves that often follow pregnancy.

Seasonality and occasions — when to start to be ready in time

Women most often think about their figure in step with specific events: summer and swimsuit season, their own wedding or one in the family, a trip, a photo shoot. Endermology fits well into that rhythm, but it has its own timing logic worth respecting.
That's because it's a series treatment, not something done "right before you go out." If you're aiming for even thighs on the beach or smooth skin on your back and arms in a strapless dress, you need to start the series several weeks in advance — that way you have time to get through the intensive phase of several sessions a week and move into the maintenance phase just before the event. Starting "last minute" will mainly give you a drainage effect (lighter, less swollen legs) — pleasant, but not the same as properly worked-through cellulite.
In practice, this is also one of the few body treatments that copes well with an active social life during the series — it leaves no marks, so you don't have to cancel plans or hide your legs. At most, it's worth watching your hydration during this time and cutting back on alcohol and salty snacks, since those are what most quickly undo the drainage effect.

Realistic expectations, no embellishment

We'll say it plainly, because the beauty industry promises women miracles more often than anyone else. Endermology won't replace what happens on your plate and through movement — but what it genuinely does is concrete and worth the series: skin becomes smoother and firmer, "orange-peel skin" is less visible, legs feel lighter, and the silhouette looks more even.
Something worth saying for peace of mind: for women, cellulite can be a source of real discomfort and a sense that "something is wrong with me." It isn't — most women in the world have it, regardless of weight or age. A well-run series isn't about "fixing" something flawed, but about making the skin look and feel better — and you feel more confident. It's a real change, but a gradual one — the best results are seen by women who treat the series as part of a bigger picture, alongside hydration, movement and home care.

Frequently asked questions

Can I come for a treatment during my period?
Yes, a period is not a contraindication. If you feel swollen and "heavy" during this time, a drainage session can actually bring relief. Just tell your specialist how you're feeling — they'll adjust the intensity and zones to your comfort that day.
Will endermology help my abdomen after a caesarean?
It helps the skin regain firmness and mobilises stretched tissue, but we only start once the scar has healed and after a consultation — we don't work on a fresh surgical scar. Endermology won't make a caesarean scar disappear, but the abdominal skin around it can noticeably gain firmness.
I have a photo shoot in a swimsuit coming up — will the treatment leave marks on my legs?
Endermology doesn't pierce the skin, so there are no wounds or scabs. If you bruise easily, though, minor bruising can appear — so if you have an important shoot in a short dress or swimsuit, let us know in advance. We'll choose gentler settings and plan the more intensive zones so the skin has time to settle before the shoot.
Will the treatment help if I have cellulite but I'm slim?
Yes — and it's a very common scenario. In women, cellulite comes from tissue structure and hormones, not excess weight, which is why slim people have it too. Endermology works directly on skin structure and connective septa, so a slim figure is no obstacle at all.
I'm planning a pregnancy in the coming months — is it worth starting a series now?
You can complete a series before a planned pregnancy, but once you conceive, contouring and drainage treatments on the body are put on hold until after birth and a consultation. In that case, it's best to treat the current series as a complete chapter and return to endermology after the postpartum period — often specifically to address the abdomen after pregnancy.
