You have lashes. But if they're fair, ginger or blonde, most people around you simply can't see them. Without mascara, your gaze loses definition, your eyes look tired, your face seems "unfinished". So every day you reach for mascara — not because you want makeup, but because without it you feel invisible.
Lash tinting at J'adore reverses this. After one short visit with our brow & lash stylist, your own lashes are dark along their entire length — including the thin, pale tips that no mascara covers evenly. The result is resistant to water and sweat, so it won't run at the pool, smudge in the heat, or leave marks after crying or a workout.

Choosing the shade — this is what makes the difference between "made up" and "natural"

What your stylist agrees with you before the treatment determines whether the result is defined but still you — or overwhelming.
There's no single right colour for everyone. Your stylist chooses it for you, not from a catalogue.
  • Black — deep, striking, "like a good mascara". Works best with darker skin and hair, for a bolder look.
  • Brown — warm, soft, natural. Enhances the lashes without outlining the eye in black. Ideal for fair skin, blonde and ginger colouring, and for those seeking a "no-makeup makeup" effect — looking fresh, not made up.
  • Navy — a cool undertone that visually brightens the whites of the eyes. Works beautifully with blue and grey eyes, giving a rested, luminous look.

Tinting and your life — no calendar of restrictions

If you're asking "what happens after the treatment?" — the good news is the list of restrictions is short, and it ends after one day.
Mascara? You can add it in the evening for a stronger look. But day to day, you usually won't need it.
  • First ~24 hours — let the colour set: skip a long bath, hot sauna and intense lash soaking. That's all.
  • From day two — pool, sea, sweat, rain. No restrictions.
  • Long term — one habit that really extends the effect: use a gentle, oil-free micellar water to remove eye makeup. Oily products are the biggest "enemy" of lash colour.

A full set that changes your look in a single visit

Lash tinting is often just half the story. At J'adore, we most often combine it with:
  • Lash lift — tinting gives colour, the lift raises the lashes from the root and "opens up" the eye. Together, they create a natural, well-rested look without any makeup.
  • Brow tinting or powder brow henna — when lashes and brows share a consistent shade, the whole look appears polished. The difference between "lashes only" and "lashes and brows" is clearly visible.
  • Brow lamination — smooth, "combed" brows and dark lashes: a makeup-free morning becomes realistic.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to give up mascara after tinting?
You don't have to — but you'll probably stop wanting to. Every morning your lashes are already dark and defined. You can add mascara for an evening out for extra intensity, but the daily ritual with the brush becomes unnecessary.
I have very fair skin and I'm worried black will be too strong — what should I do?
Tell your stylist before choosing the shade. With delicate features and fair skin, brown or navy give a beautiful, defined result — without that one overly harsh line. Your stylist will show you the effect and discuss options before applying anything.
How often do I need to refresh the colour?
Every few weeks — the colour doesn't disappear suddenly; it fades gradually as lashes naturally renew. You'll know it's time to come back when the pale tips become visible again.
Can I combine tinting with a lift in one visit?
Yes — that's our most popular duo. Both treatments together take a single visit and complement each other: colour + lift = a natural, wide-awake look.
Will tinting affect my lashes — will they start falling out?
No. The dye works on the hair shaft, not the follicle. Lashes renew naturally in their own cycle regardless of tinting — the same as they would without any colouring at all.
