Hair that works for you — not the other way round

If you have naturally curly, wavy or frizzy hair, you know what mornings without keratin look like: straightener, spray, heat-activated conditioner — and the result still doesn't survive the first rain shower. Brazilian keratin isn't another conditioner off a shelf. It's a treatment that changes the hair structure from within: the keratin formula penetrates the cortex, fills in gaps and is sealed in at 230°C. The result? Smooth, glossy, silky hair — and not just for one wash, but for a full 3–4 months.

What you gain as a woman

Women's hair differs from men's in cuticle density, hydration level and history of chemical treatments. Colouring, bleaching, balayage — each of these processes lifts the cuticle and weakens natural keratin. The treatment doesn't just straighten — it replenishes what dye and styling patiently strip from the hair structure over months. Here's what you'll notice specifically:
  • 20–30 minutes saved every morning — blow-dry, maybe a brush, and you're done. The straightener goes in the drawer.
  • Moisture-resistant hair — rain, sauna, sea no longer threaten your hairstyle.

Three techniques — one chosen for you

There's no single keratin treatment for everyone. Monika selects the technique based on your hair — its porosity, history of chemical treatments and the result you're after:
Choosing isn't your job — that's Monika's work during your free initial consultation.
  • Brazilian keratin — maximum straightening, lasting 3–4 months. Contains controlled amounts of formaldehyde — safe when applied professionally.
  • Hair Botox — zero formaldehyde, strong regeneration, lighter straightening. Ideal for anyone with allergies or severely damaged hair.
  • Express keratin — the whole treatment in about 1.5 hours. A good option when time matters and you want quick results.

Grey hair and keratin — a pairing few people talk about

Grey hair has a different structure to pigmented hair — it's drier, coarser and more prone to frizz. Keratin works exceptionally well on it: it gives incredible shine and softness that no conditioner can match. Straightening time and temperature are adjusted individually — grey hair needs slightly different parameters than dark hair.

Frequently asked questions

Can I colour my hair normally after keratin?
If you're planning to colour your hair, do it at least 2 weeks before the treatment. Keratin seals the cuticle — dye applied straight after the treatment penetrates less effectively and can give an uneven result. After keratin straightening, wait at least 2 weeks before colouring.
Will I be able to use retinol and acids after the treatment?
You apply acids and retinol to the scalp and face — not to hair. Postpone scalp exfoliation for 2 weeks after the treatment, so as not to disrupt the keratin stabilisation process. Your facial skincare routine doesn't need any change.
Does keratin look natural, or "too smooth"?
The result depends on the technique and your hair structure. Hair Botox and express keratin give a lighter result — they reduce frizz, smooth hair and keep its natural movement. Brazilian keratin straightens more strongly. Monika will discuss your expectations and choose the technique so the result looks like "you, just better".
Can I combine keratin straightening with other hair treatments?
Yes, but the order matters. Have keratin done before any colouring (not after). Scalp mesotherapy or PRP treatments should be scheduled separately — ideally a few weeks before or after keratin. Monika will help you plan the schedule.
Is keratin safe if I'm breastfeeding?
Brazilian keratin (with formaldehyde) isn't recommended while breastfeeding — this is a precaution, not a ban based on proven harm. A safe alternative is hair Botox (formaldehyde-free formula). Discuss this with Monika during your consultation — together you'll find an option suited to your situation.
