You know how it is: you invest in a good serum and use it regularly, but the results are... underwhelming. It is not a product issue. Most active substances, even from the best ampoules, stop at the surface of the epidermis. This is where the skin performs its main protective function. Nanopore DermaQuest solves this problem at the source. Precisely controlled microneedling opens thousands of tiny channels in the epidermis. Through these, the concentrated DermaQuest serum — chosen for your specific goal — penetrates many times deeper. Retinol, vitamin C, peptides and growth factors work where regeneration actually happens.

For a woman, this is particularly important during skin turning points. This includes just after pregnancy, when the complexion can be discoloured and dull. It is vital around age 30, when the first expression lines begin to stay. It is also key after summer, when UV radiation has taken its toll. At these times, penetration depth is no longer a technical detail. It becomes the deciding factor for the result.

Hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone — female specificity

Hormonal hyperpigmentation (melasma, chloasma) is one of the more difficult female skin problems. Unlike sun spots, these have a basis deep in the dermis and do not respond well to surface peels. Nanopore DermaQuest allows the brightening serum — e.g. with vitamin C, niacinamide or depigmenting complexes — to reach the layer where melanin is overproduced directly. Collagen, elasticity, time — what happens after the treatment

Micro-punctures — even these tiny nano-channels — trigger the skin's natural repair mechanism. Fibroblasts receive a signal for increased production of collagen and elastin. Combined with deeply applied stimulating peptides (e.g. palmitoyl tripeptide), the effect is synergistic. The skin produces more support matrix and is simultaneously supplied with ready-made building blocks. After a series of treatments, the facial contour is more clearly defined. The skin at the jawline and cheeks is firmer. Expression lines are shallower and less permanent.

Makeup, retinol and daily life — what changes after Nanopore

After the treatment, the skin remains more permeable for 24–48 hours. This is a window of intense absorption for active ingredients. Your home care routine returns to normal after this time. Use gentle hydration, SPF and mild products without strong acids. Retinol and chemical peels return after at least a week. This is not a punishment; it is to protect the result. The skin is not sensitive to touch or external light to a degree that would be bothersome.

The only visible change immediately after the treatment is possible slight redness. This is comparable to the effect after washing your face intensely. In most women, it subsides within a few hours. Full activity, including work and meetings, is possible on the same day.

Nanopore and home care — the enhancing effect

Nanopore DermaQuest does not replace daily care — it intensifies it. Clinical cosmetologists call this a "primer" effect for the skin. After the treatment, the preparations you use at home are absorbed more effectively for several days. Frequently asked questions

Can I apply makeup before an important outing — when should I book the treatment?

We recommend planning the treatment at least 48 hours before an important event. For the first 24 hours after Nanopore, we recommend avoiding foundation and colour products. The skin is more permeable and prone to irritation from makeup ingredients. After this time, makeup is possible, and the skin's radiance after the treatment can be an additional asset in person.

Is Nanopore safe during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

We do not perform protocols with retinol serum during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Retinol is not recommended during these periods. Nanopore with a hydrating or antioxidant serum (without retinol or exfoliating acids) may be considered individually. This follows a consultation and depends on your overall skin condition. We make the decision together during the qualifying visit.

I use retinol daily — do I need to stop it before the treatment?

Yes — stop using retinol, strong acids (AHA/BHA in high concentrations) and exfoliating peels 5–7 days before the treatment. Skin prepared this way responds better to needling and carries less risk of irritation. You return to retinol at least 7 days after the treatment, once the stimulation effects have stabilised.

Will the result be natural, or will it be obvious I had something done?

Nanopore DermaQuest gives gradual and natural results. The skin looks more rested, elastic and radiant, but there is no obvious "before and after" line visible to others. This treatment improves skin quality rather than changing facial features. Most clients hear after a series: "You look great — have you been on holiday?", rather than questions about aesthetic interventions.

Can I combine Nanopore with needle mesotherapy or Dermapen?

Yes, but not on the same date. Nanopore and needle mesotherapy work at different depths and can complement each other within a treatment plan — either alternately or sequentially. A medical Dermapen is a deeper intervention and requires a longer break between sessions. The cosmetologist will suggest a schedule tailored to your goal and current skin condition.
