Nanopore DermaQuest — treatment at J'adore InstytutA treatment room at J'adore

FACIAL COSMETOLOGY

Serum deeper in the skin
“a quick return”

The best serum will not work if it stays on the surface of the epidermis. This is a common frustration: expensive cosmetics "make no difference" because the skin's natural barrier repels them.

Nanopore DermaQuest solves this directly. It first creates microscopic channels in the epidermis. Then, while they are open, it introduces a concentrated DermaQuest serum tailored to your concern. Active ingredients reach deeper than with standard application. Since the channels are shallower than with a medical Dermapen, the skin heals quickly. You will not be out of action for several days. This is a cosmetology treatment. At J'adore Instytut, it is performed by an experienced cosmetologist. Below you will find everything you need to know before your first visit.

  • Dull, tired complexion
  • Enlarged pores and uneven texture
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • First wrinkles and loss of elasticity
  • Dehydrated skin
  • Shallow acne marks
  • People who want mesotherapy but fear needles or downtime
  • Enhancing the effect of other treatments

How it works

How it works

Nanopore DermaQuest is a two-stage salon protocol. First, the microneedling device creates micro-channels — very precise, controlled openings. Immediately after, while these channels are still open, the cosmetologist introduces a concentrated DermaQuest serum. This moment determines the result. Active substances penetrate much deeper than when applying cream to unprepared skin.

The key difference from a classic Dermapen is the depth. Nanopore channels are shallower, so the skin does not undergo such strong micro-trauma. This results in minimal discomfort and short recovery time. You get the effect of an advanced treatment without "hiding" at home for several days. This is a cosmetology treatment, not a medical one — and that is how we approach it.

Three layers of skin in cross-section: the epidermis at the surface, the dermis beneath it, and deepest of all the subcutaneous tissue. The microneedles open channels within the epidermis itself, and the serum travels along them towards the dermis. The cosmetologist matches the needle length to the area and the condition of your skin.
  1. Epidermisthe layer where the microchannels form
  2. Dermisthe level the fibroblasts work at
  3. Subcutaneous tissuedeeper than the microneedles reach

Ideal for

Ideal for

  1. Dull, tired complexionlacking radiance — which responds poorly to moisturising from a tube alone.
  2. Enlarged pores and uneven texturecoarse skin surface, "orange peel" effect.
  3. Hyperpigmentationpost-acne (PIH), sun spots and hormonal pigmentation.
  4. First wrinkles and loss of elasticitywhen you want to act before changes become permanent.
  5. Dehydrated skinwhich "drinks up" hydration, but the effect quickly disappears.
  6. Shallow acne marksevening out the tone and surface.
  7. People who want mesotherapy but fear needles or downtimethis is a gentler entry point.
  8. Enhancing the effect of other treatmentsNanopore deepens the action of a treatment series.
  9. This is not a "one and done" treatment. The best results come from a series of 3–6 treatments. Change in texture, tone and hydration builds gradually, visit by visit.

Women's and men's zones

What is the difference

For her

Women's skin and the deep barrier — why the serum is not working

For women, the most common goals are radiance, even skin tone and deep hydration, as well as smoothing first wrinkles. We choose the DermaQuest serum for the problem — antioxidant, brightening, hydrating or regenerating. This is the classic Nanopore DermaQuest for women.

The areas we support

  1. hormonal (melasma) and post-acne hyperpigmentation;
  2. grey, dehydrated complexion lacking radiance;
  3. first expression lines and loss of elasticity;
  4. prevention — deepening an active treatment series.
For him

Thicker skin, stronger barrier — and why this is a problem

Male skin is thicker, more often oily or combination, with more visible pores. That is why for men, Nanopore targets primarily texture, pores and old acne discolouration. This is the so-called Nanopore DermaQuest for men.

The areas we support

  1. coarse, uneven skin texture;
  2. enlarged pores — especially on the nose and cheeks;
  3. sun spots and post-acne hyperpigmentation;
  4. shallow acne scars and dull complexion.

Fact: "nano" is not just marketing — the channels are truly tiny. This gives the skin a signal to regenerate and lets the serum in deeper. At the same time, it does not cause such a strong micro-injury as a deep Dermapen. Less drama, more ingredient transport.

Safety

What really determines the result

With a microneedling treatment, the result and safety depend on three things you should ask about in any salon:

  1. Who performs it

    At J'adore, Nanopore is conducted by an experienced cosmetologist. They assess the skin condition, qualify you for the treatment and select the serum. This is not a "self-service" pen from the internet. Work hygiene, technique and knowledge of contraindications matter.

  2. Are the preparations original

    We use original, professional DermaQuest serums from legal distribution, selected for your skin problem. An ingredient introduced through open channels works more powerfully. Therefore, its quality and origin are even more important than with standard application.

  3. What single-use, sterile equipment is used

    The element contacting the skin must be sterile and single-use or correctly sterilised. You have the right to ask how the salon ensures this.

Red flag: suspiciously cheap "Nanopore" · A bargain price is often the first warning sign. Watch out for: non-original or "unbranded" serums instead of DermaQuest, lack of information about sterile equipment, a person without cosmetological training, and promises of a "miracle" effect after one treatment. A good salon will tell you without hesitation which serum they are using, who is performing the treatment and how many sessions are realistically needed.

FACIAL COSMETOLOGY

What to expect during your visit

  1. Consultation and skin diagnosisthe cosmetologist assesses the skin condition, identifies the main problem and selects the DermaQuest serum (anti-age, brightening, hydrating or for problem skin) and rules out contraindications.
  2. Cleansingthorough removal of makeup and impurities; the skin must be clean before needling.
  3. Skin preparationapplication of a preparation to facilitate the head's movement; for sensitive individuals, a numbing cream is possible.
  4. Micro-channellingthe cosmetologist works with the head over the face (or selected zone). The sensation resembles tingling or warmth, not sharp pain.
  5. Immediate DermaQuest serum infusionthe key moment: the serum massaged into the open channels penetrates deeper than with standard application.
  6. Soothing mask and protectiona soothing mask, regenerating cream and mandatory SPF; skin after needling is more sensitive to the sun.
  7. Home recommendationsthe cosmetologist discusses care for the next 24–48 hours and recommends preparations to enhance the effect.

Contraindications

When to reschedule

Some contraindications are permanent, and some are temporary — in those cases, we simply reschedule the treatment until the situation passes. The cosmetologist performs a full qualification during the consultation.

We don't perform it
  • Active herpes (cold sores)even if located elsewhere than the treatment area, not just on the treated skin (e.g. on the lips or in the nose). Microneedling can activate the virus — we reschedule until healed.
  • Active inflammatory acneor extensive pustular lesions in the treatment area.
  • Other skin infections(bacterial, viral, fungal) in the treatment area.
  • Eczema, atopic dermatitis or psoriasisin the work area.
  • Hypersensitivity or allergyto DermaQuest serum ingredients.
  • Coagulation disorders and blood-thinning medicationsrequire assessment before the treatment.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeedingespecially with retinol serum protocols.
  • Fresh tanand recent strong peels, laser or IPL — a break is required.
  • Isotretinoin(oral acne medication) — during and for a set time after the treatment.

From the cosmetologist's office

The most frequently forgotten issue is herpes. Clients say: "I only have it on my lips, and we are doing the treatment on my cheeks — surely it doesn't matter?". It does. An active virus is a risk regardless of where it appeared, and needling can wake it up. It is better to reschedule by a few days.

This is not a full list — we will go through your medications, skin diseases and previous treatments individually during the consultation.

What to expect

No surprises

Most importantly: this is a series treatment, and the effect builds up. The skin looks fresher after the first visit, but real change in texture, tone and hydration builds through subsequent treatments.

  1. Faza 1.on the same dayslight redness; sensitive skin, we protect it with SPF
  2. Faza 2.the next dayredness usually subsides, you return to daily life
  3. Faza 3.after 1–2 weeksfirst visible improvement in texture and radiance
  4. Faza 4.after the full seriesclear change in skin tone, hydration and smoothness
Sometimes I hear after the first visit: "I expected a bigger effect". This is completely normal — Nanopore works cumulatively. Most is visible after the third or fourth visit, when the skin rebuilds its texture and evens out its tone. That is why we plan a series from the start, not a single treatment.
From the cosmetologist's office

What is normal immediately after the treatment

  • slight redness of the skin — usually subsides within 24 hours;
  • feeling of warmth or gentle tension in the first hours;
  • temporary increased sensitivity of the skin to stimuli for 1–2 days;
  • no intense peeling and no need to "hide" at home for many days.

After the series, it is worth maintaining the result with maintenance treatments every few months and selected home care — it is what "works" between visits.

Nanopore and your lifestyle

What and when is allowed

Most questions are not about the treatment itself, but what comes after: makeup, sun, sauna, pool, home cosmetics. There is one rule — treat the skin gently for the first 24 hours so the freshly opened channels can close calmly and the skin does not get irritated.

  1. Makeup

    wait ~24 h

    Skip makeup for the first 24 hours — the skin is more permeable and prone to irritation. Later, return to your routine, ideally with gentle products.

  2. Sun and SPF

    SPF is mandatory

    Freshly after needling, the skin is sensitive to UV. Avoid intense sun for several days and use SPF 50+ daily — this is key for hyperpigmentation. Fresh tan = we reschedule the treatment.

  3. Sauna and hot baths

    24–48 h break

    High temperatures dilate vessels and intensify redness. Plan your sauna, hammam or hot bath only after 1–2 days.

  4. Swimming pool

    wait ~48 h

    Chlorinated or salt water can irritate freshly needled skin. Hold off on the pool or sea for at least 1–2 days.

  5. Peels and retinol at home

    pause for a few days

    Stop acid peels, strong exfoliation and retinol for a few days after the treatment to avoid layering irritation on irritation. The cosmetologist will determine when to return.

  6. Intense training

    wait ~24 h

    Significantly accelerated circulation and sweat promote redness in the first 24 hours. Calmly return to the gym after one day.

Nanopore DermaQuest

Frequently asked questions

  1. QuestionHow does Nanopore differ from a classic Dermapen?
    AnswerA medical Dermapen creates deeper punctures and causes stronger micro-trauma — hence clearer redness and several days of healing; it is usually performed by a doctor or nurse. Nanopore works more shallowly, with an emphasis on ingredient transport and texture improvement, with minimal downtime — and is a cosmetology treatment.
  2. QuestionWhen will I see the result?
    AnswerThe skin looks fresher after the first visit, but real change in texture, tone and hydration builds through the entire series. The first clear improvement is usually seen after 1–2 weeks, and the most after the third or fourth visit.
  3. QuestionHow many treatments do I need and how often?
    AnswerStandardly, a series of 3–6 treatments at intervals of 1–4 weeks, selected individually. After completing the series, we recommend maintenance treatments every few months.
  4. QuestionIs the result permanent?
    AnswerThe result builds up and lasts if you support it with home care and maintenance treatments. The skin continues to age, so we repeat treatments — but from a better starting point.
