A woman's skin — different biology, different goals

Women's facial skin is statistically thinner than men's — especially around the eyes, where the dermis layer is only a few tenths of a millimetre thick. That's precisely where vascular shadows and pigmentation show up most and are hardest to hide, even with the best concealer. Nucleofill Eyes works precisely in this area: it thickens the thin skin under the eye, improves microcirculation and reduces inflammation — effects no home skincare routine can achieve.
After thirty, and especially around perimenopause and menopause, oestrogen levels drop — hormones key to collagen synthesis and skin thickness. Skin loses density faster than the calendar alone would suggest, and the first signs of laxity appear on the cheeks, jawline and neck. Nucleofill Strong and Medium, chosen by the doctor for your skin's current condition and treatment area, stimulate fibroblasts to intensively produce type I and III collagen — making up for what hormones no longer produce at their previous rate.

The face often looks fresh even when the neck and décolletage already give away age — thin, dehydrated skin in this area is particularly sensitive to loss of elasticity and photodamage. Home skincare and Nucleofill — how to combine them

Women using retinol, AHA/BHA acids or vitamin C should pause these ingredients for 3–4 days before the treatment and for 5–7 days after. Not because active skincare spoils results — quite the opposite: once the regeneration period ends, retinol and acids reinforce Nucleofill's results by boosting cell turnover. The doctor will discuss a schedule tailored to your skincare routine during consultation, so both approaches strengthen each other rather than conflict.

A natural effect — nobody says "you've had something done"

Nucleofill doesn't change your features, doesn't fill, doesn't lift. Polynucleotides activate your own fibroblasts — the result is a better version of your skin, not a different face. After the series, you'll hear: "you look great, have you rested?" or "something's changed, but I can't tell what". Frequently asked questions

When can I apply makeup after Nucleofill?
You can apply makeup from the day after the treatment. For the first 24 hours, we recommend avoiding all colour cosmetics and sticking to a gentle micellar cleanser and SPF 50. The small bumps at injection sites disappear within a few hours — by that evening, skin already looks almost normal.
Can I have Nucleofill during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Unfortunately not. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are absolute contraindications for Nucleofill — as they are for all injectable treatments in aesthetic medicine. If you're planning a pregnancy, discuss the optimal timing for the series with your doctor, either before conceiving or after you finish breastfeeding.
When can I go back to retinol and acids after the treatment?
Pause retinoids and active acids (AHA, BHA, higher-concentration vitamin C) for 5–7 days after the treatment. Skin is more sensitive during this time, and active ingredients could irritate the micro-injection sites. After a week, you can return to your usual routine — and regular retinol use reinforces the long-term regeneration effects.
Will the result look natural, or "done"?
Nucleofill doesn't fill or lift — it activates your skin's own repair processes. The result is deeper hydration, better elasticity and a more radiant complexion. You'll look like a rested, well-cared-for version of yourself — not like you've had a treatment. This is one reason Nucleofill works so well for women who value subtlety over visible change.
Can Nucleofill be combined with Profhilo or botulinum toxin?
Yes — it's one of the most common combinations we see. Nucleofill regenerates and repairs fibroblast DNA, while Profhilo hydrates intensively and bioremodels the extracellular matrix — together they reinforce each other's effects. Botulinum toxin works at a different level (facial muscles), so treatments can be performed on the same day or at short intervals. The doctor always sets the schedule during consultation.
