Men's pedicure for women

Is men's pedicure a service for women too?

For women, pedicure is more often full foot styling: colour, French tips, hybrid or gel on the nail, SPA treatments and seasonal care. Different language, different expectations from the men's version — we cover it separately.

When it's worth it — indications

  • Athletes — runners, footballers, gym-goers, cyclists: heavy load on the feet, calluses, risk of blisters and "black" nails from footwear.
  • Standing work and lots of walking — waiters, sales staff, construction workers, couriers: by the end of the day, feet "burn" and heels crack.
  • Dry, rough heel skin — especially in summer (flip-flops) and winter (dry, heated air).
  • Thickened skin and calluses on the sole or toes.
  • Nails that are hard to cut — thick, fast-growing plates that need even trimming.
  • Before sandal season, a trip or an important event — quickly getting your feet in order.
  • Anyone who simply wants to look after their feet — no colour, discreet, from time to time.

The areas we work on

  2. foot SPA treatments and regenerating care;
  3. an aesthetic accent alongside the care element.

Is men's pedicure a service for women too?

Men's pedicure is a treatment designed for men — built around the anatomy and lifestyle of a man's foot: thicker skin, larger calluses, strong nails and heavy load from training or work. Women more often choose a pedicure — a treatment with colour, French tips, SPA elements and full styling. It's a separate offer, with a different language and different expectations.

When does a woman choose the men's version?

There are situations where women deliberately choose the men's pedicure protocol instead of styling:
If you recognise yourself in any of these — this treatment is for you. The stylist will assess your feet and choose the protocol on the spot.
  • feet under heavy sporting load (running, climbing, CrossFit) with large calluses and thick skin,
  • standing work with advanced hardened skin that needs thorough treatment,
  • a preference for "zero polish, just healthy feet" — no colour, no hybrid.

Frequently asked questions

Can I come for a men's pedicure as a woman if I don't want colour?
Yes. A pedicure without colour — classic or Japanese — is available to anyone. Women whose feet are under heavy sporting load or standing work use this option regularly. Tell the stylist what you're looking for, and she'll choose the protocol to suit your feet.
How does men's pedicure differ from women's in practice?
In the intensity of the work and the products used. The men's protocol assumes thicker skin, larger calluses and stronger nails — it uses more intensive tools and takes more time to treat. A women's pedicure places more emphasis on styling, colour and SPA care. If your feet fit the "heavy load, no need for polish" profile, the men's version may suit you better.
Can I come for a pedicure if I suspect a fungal infection?
No. If a fungal infection is suspected (a discoloured, crumbling nail), the stylist won't carry out the treatment — she'll refer you to a podologist or dermatologist. This safety rule applies regardless of gender.
Which should I choose — men's pedicure or podology?
Pedicure (in any variant) is about care and appearance: nails, skin, calluses, heels. Podology treats a problem: an ingrown nail, fungal infection, painful corns, diabetic foot. If your foot hurts or looks concerning, see a podologist first.
Can I put my shoes on right after a pedicure?
Yes. A men's pedicure (classic or Japanese) requires no downtime — you leave in your shoes straight away. If you choose the clear hybrid, the nail is ready immediately, with no drying time.
