What the treatment involves, from a man's perspective

No dramatic stages. Your cosmetologist applies the product, monitors your skin, then removes it — the whole session takes around half an hour to an hour, depending on the protocol and whether LED is added at the end. You may feel slight warmth or tingling. Right after the treatment, your face is refreshed and may be slightly flushed — this usually fades within a few hours. There's no obvious "salon look" and no visible peeling to give away that you've had a treatment.
One detail worth noting for men: for a few days, shave less intensively and let your skin recover. Gentle skincare plus SPF 50+ — your cosmetologist will cover this at the end of the visit.

Frequently asked questions

Will anyone notice I've had a treatment done?
Not in any obvious way. The result of DNA Recovery is skin that looks well-rested — fresher, more hydrated, with a more even tone. No peeling, no questions from friends.
Do I need to stop shaving daily after the peel?
For 1–2 days, it's worth giving your skin a break, or shaving more gently (electric razor instead of wet shaving). After that, you can return to your normal routine. Your cosmetologist will tell you exactly how long to ease off — it depends on your skin and the treatment protocol.
I have oily skin — will a hydrating peel actually change anything?
Yes — because oily skin can be dehydrated at the same time (low water, not low sebum). DNA Recovery hydrates deeper without adding oil to the surface. The result is improved condition and texture, not a greasier complexion.
Does a series make sense, or is one session enough?
One session refreshes and hydrates. To improve skin condition and noticeably even out texture (acne marks, tone, skin quality), you'll need a series of 3–4 sessions every 1–2 weeks. Your cosmetologist will assess what makes sense for you after a skin analysis.
Do I really need to use SPF after this?
Yes, without exception. After any peel, skin is more sensitive to UV radiation — without SPF 50+, the risk of hyperpigmentation rises and the regenerating effect fades quickly. If you've never used sunscreen before, your cosmetologist can recommend a light SPF cream that doesn't feel sticky and suits daily use.
