When it's worth it — indications

  • Grey, dull skin — when skin has lost its radiance and looks tired.
  • Clogged, enlarged pores — blackheads on the nose, chin, forehead.
  • Dehydrated skin — despite regular use of moisturisers.
  • Uneven texture — rough, not smooth to the touch.
  • Oily and combination skin — shine, excess sebum in the T-zone.
  • Preparing for an event — glow with zero downtime, makeup straight after.
  • First salon visit — a safe, pain-free start for anyone who's "never had anything done".
  • Part of regular skincare — keeping skin in good condition every few weeks.

The areas we work on

  1. clogged pores on the nose and chin, T-zone shine;
  2. irritation and ingrown hairs after shaving;
  3. a quick skin reset before a meeting, event or trip;
  4. zero downtime — a meeting an hour after your visit isn't a problem.

Skin no one ever taught how to care for

Men's skin is roughly 25% thicker than women's, produces twice as much sebum, and has anatomically wider pores due to higher testosterone levels. That's not a flaw — it's biology, and it means men's skin clogs faster, sheds dead skin more intensely, and often looks dull despite decent hydration. Drugstore face washes and 2-in-1 scrubs don't reach deep enough to solve this. HydraFacial does it in one visit: patented Vortex tips draw impurities out of the pores mechanically, without squeezing, and in the same motion infuse serum directly into the freshly cleansed skin.

The beard zone — a challenge HydraFacial handles well

Daily shaving mechanically disrupts the skin barrier. A razor strips away the protective layer of sebum and dead cells — the side effects are micro-trauma, ingrown hairs and irritation along the jaw and neck. Skin in the beard zone stays in a mild, persistent state of inflammation, which speeds up ageing in that part of the face. HydraFacial eases this: an acid peel (glycolic and salicylic acid at a precisely chosen concentration) normalises the epidermis, and a peptide and antioxidant infusion strengthens the skin barrier after extraction. If you can, schedule shaving the day before the treatment, not on the morning of your visit.

Rejuvenation without labels

HydraFacial delivers concrete results whatever your reason for wanting to look better. Whether the goal is looking fresh after an intense work week, or a clear anti-ageing improvement in skin tone over the years, the protocol adapts to your goal, not to a category. The dose of active ingredients is customised to your anatomy and the result you want.

Training, sport, an active lifestyle

After HydraFacial you can go back to physical activity — with one exception: intense training right after the treatment (the same day) isn't recommended. Sweat, raised body temperature and dilated blood vessels after exercise can temporarily irritate freshly cleansed skin. The next day — gym, pool, running — no restrictions. If you train regularly, it's worth scheduling the treatment on a rest day or in the evening after a lighter cardio session.

A result you can see — that no one needs to know about

The most common comment after HydraFacial is: you look rested, what happened? — not: were you at the salon? That's exactly the goal. Skin after HydraFacial doesn't look "treated" — it looks like skin in optimal condition. Clean, hydrated, without a grey, tired cast. Zero redness, zero period of having to explain yourself. You can walk straight from the salon to a meeting.

Frequently asked questions

Can I shave the day before the treatment, or in the morning?
The day before is best. Freshly shaved skin has razor micro-trauma — Vortex suction could irritate it. If you shaved that morning, tell your specialist — she'll adjust the extraction intensity in the beard zone. A few days' stubble isn't a problem; we can work around a beard.
Can I go to the gym after the treatment?
Skip intense training on the day of the treatment. Sweat and body heat can irritate freshly cleansed skin. From the next day — full training, no restrictions. Remember SPF 50+ in the morning if you exercise outdoors.
Will anyone notice I had a treatment?
No — and that's one of the reasons HydraFacial is so popular with men. Zero redness, zero flaking, zero "just had a treatment" look. Skin looks like you slept well and stayed hydrated. You can walk out of the salon straight into a business lunch.
I have combination skin — oily T-zone, dry cheeks. Can HydraFacial handle that?
That's a classic profile for men's skin over 30, and HydraFacial is built for it. Salicylic acid gets into T-zone pores and regulates sebum, while a hyaluronic acid infusion hydrates dry areas without adding oiliness. Your specialist can vary extraction intensity across different areas of the face — stronger suction where pores are larger.
Is HydraFacial a one-off, or do I need to commit to a series?
The result after one session is visible immediately and lasts several days to about two weeks. If you want lasting improvement in texture and skin tone, a series of 4 sessions every 3–4 weeks gives noticeably better results than a single visit. Many clients start with one session, see the result, and come back regularly. No upfront commitment.
