Retix.C and women's skin — precision where you need it

Women's facial skin is thinner and more reactive than men's — which means the medical peel must be selected with surgical precision. Retix.C achieves this through three specialised formulas: REVIVE TC3 for rejuvenation and even skin tone, Smart DNA for acne scars and stretch marks (yes — the body too), and EYE PLUS for crow's feet and dark circles. Not one protocol for everyone — each session starts with an analysis of your skin and a formula chosen for your specific goal. Doses and exposure time are selected individually to match your anatomy, reactivity and current skin condition.

Stretch marks, scars, eyes — what we rarely talk about openly

Retix.C Smart DNA is one of the few non-invasive methods that genuinely improve the appearance of stretch marks — both fresh, red ones and older, white ones. A series of three treatments improves appearance by 40–60% by activating fibroblasts within the stretch mark bands and rebuilding collagen fibres from within.
EYE PLUS, in turn, addresses a problem that heavy concealer only masks: morning puffiness, vascular dark circles and the first network of crow's feet. Caffeine drains, peptides lift, low-concentration TCA smooths — and importantly, peeling here lasts just 2–4 days, because the formula is tailored to the especially delicate skin of the eye area.
Acne scars in women carry an extra dimension: they often coexist with active hormonal changes, which calls for a careful treatment sequence. Smart DNA works safely in this situation — provided the skin is in a stable phase, with no active inflammation.

Aftercare — clear rules, no complications

Peeling lasts 3–7 days (shorter with EYE PLUS). During this time, use a regenerating cream, daily SPF50, and avoid touching the peeling skin — no matter how tempting it is to help it along. Your specialist will give you written instructions. A few things worth remembering:
  • Home retinol and acids — pause at least 2 weeks before the treatment (confirm with your consultant)
  • Makeup — only after peeling has finished, so after 5–7 days
  • Sun — strictly avoided for at least 4 weeks after the treatment; daily SPF50 protection
  • Retinol-induced neocollagenesis lasts up to 6 weeks — results build long after the session

When results are best — a series versus a single session

A single session gives a noticeable improvement in texture and radiance — visible once peeling has finished. However, full scar remodelling, even skin tone and deep recollagenation require a series of 2–3 treatments every 4–6 weeks. This protocol is based on clinical evidence, not a marketing shortcut. Results last 3–6 months; home retinol and regular SPF help maintain them between sessions.

What skin type does Retix.C work best on?

Retix.C is a treatment for adult skin — mature skin or skin showing the first signs of photoageing. It works well for:
  • Sun-induced and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH after acne)
  • Lax skin with early gravitational wrinkles
  • Acne scars of varying depth
  • Stretch marks on the abdomen, thighs, breasts, arms
  • Crow's feet and swelling around the eyes (EYE PLUS variant)
  • Grey, dull skin after long UV exposure

Frequently asked questions

Can I wear makeup while my skin is peeling?
No — and this is a firm rule, not a suggestion. Coloured cosmetics applied to peeling skin can cause irritation, block the skin's breathing and prolong healing. Makeup returns after 5–7 days, once peeling has finished. By then your skin will look good enough that concealer won't be needed anyway.
I'm pregnant or breastfeeding — can I have Retix.C?
No. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are absolute contraindications for treatments using TCA and retinol. Plan your Retix.C session after breastfeeding ends — and tell your specialist about any hormonal changes, as they affect skin reactivity.
I use retinol and acids at home — do I need to stop?
Yes, for at least 2 weeks before the treatment — AHA/BHA acids, retinol, and high-concentration vitamin C. Active home retinol use can sensitise the skin and make it harder to control the depth of the TCA treatment. Your specialist will ask about your home care routine during consultation and tell you exactly what to pause and when.
Will the result look natural — or will I look "done"?
Retix.C doesn't change your features or "freeze" your face. It smooths texture, evens skin tone, and improves skin density. The result is a fresh, well-rested version of you — not a mask. Most women hear, after a series, "something's different about you, but I can't tell what" — and that's exactly the point.
Can I combine Retix.C with hyaluronic acid or Botox?
Yes, but the order matters. We perform Retix.C as the first stage — after peeling, the skin responds better to subsequent treatments. Hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin are best planned at least 2 weeks after peeling has finished. We'll set the sequence during consultation to match your goal and schedule.
