Acne scars, enlarged pores and loss of firmness are reasons for a cosmetology consultation. The specialist assesses the skin, asks about previous treatments and discusses whether microneedling mesotherapy is a suitable choice.

How to plan your time after the treatment

Redness may occur immediately after the treatment. You will receive recommendations regarding make-up, washing, skincare and sun protection during your visit.
Skin reactions vary from person to person. The possible changes and limitations of the treatment are discussed by the specialist during the consultation.

Skin during pregnancy, breastfeeding and through your hormonal cycle

Before the treatment, inform the specialist about pregnancy, breastfeeding and any medications you are taking. These may affect your eligibility and the timing of your appointment.
If you notice changing skin sensitivity during your cycle, mention this at your consultation. The appointment timing and recommendations are tailored individually.

Dermapen and your daily skincare

Discuss the cosmetics you use with the cosmetologist, including retinol, acids and peels. You will receive recommendations on pausing their use and returning to your skincare routine after your skin has been assessed.
After the treatment, follow the skincare routine recommended during your visit. Do not introduce new cosmetics without discussing them with your specialist.

Dermapen and other methods

Microneedling, RF microneedling and fractional laser are different methods. Their selection depends on the type of lesions, the condition of the skin and contraindications. The specialist may suggest a different treatment or postponing the appointment.

When can I apply makeup after the treatment?
The time to return to make-up depends on the condition of your skin after the treatment. Discuss it with your specialist and follow the recommendations you receive.
Can I have Dermapen if I have hormonal acne?
