Women's skin changes throughout life — hormonal fluctuations through the cycle, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause. Each phase leaves its mark: sometimes hormonal acne along the jawline, sometimes loss of density after forty, sometimes dry, overreactive skin after chemotherapy. There's one common thread — skin cells aren't getting enough signals to repair themselves.

EstGen delivers exactly these signals. EGF, IGF and TGF-β are proteins the body produces naturally in youth and during healing — their levels fall with age and under hormonal stress. Can I use retinol and acids between EstGen sessions?

You can, but in a modified form. For 48 hours after each EstGen session, skip retinol, acids and peels — growth factors work hardest in exactly this window, and aggressive ingredients can disrupt the process. After 48 hours, return to your routine. If you use retinol daily or strong acids, tell your specialist — together we'll build a schedule that lets you benefit from both.

Is EstGen safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Colostrum itself is a natural ingredient, but the EstGen treatment — especially with Dermapen — isn't recommended during pregnancy without a medical consultation. During breastfeeding, the basic version (surface application) is generally considered safe, but the first step is always a conversation with your obstetrician or attending doctor. During your consultation at J'ADORE, tell your specialist about your condition — together we'll assess whether, and in what form, we can carry out the treatment.

I'm worried the result will look too obvious — will my skin look natural?

EstGen doesn't change your features, doesn't add filler and doesn't freeze your face into an artificial expression. Growth factors work from within — stimulating the skin's own regenerative processes. The result is denser, more radiant, more even skin — like your skin, just in a better version. After a series of treatments, clients often hear from friends: you look great, have you had a rest? — not: what have you had done?

I have reactive skin and I'm worried about a reaction — is EstGen safe for me?

EstGen is one of the gentlest treatments we offer. Colostrum contains immunoglobulins and lactoferrin, which naturally strengthen the skin's resilience — it soothes rather than irritates. The basic version requires no needling or intensive exfoliation. Reactive skin is actually a common indication for EstGen, not a contraindication. Before the first session we carry out a skin analysis and choose parameters matched to your sensitivity — nothing is done blindly.

Can I combine EstGen with Botox or hyaluronic acid?

Yes — but with an appropriate gap between treatments. EstGen after filler injections or Botox is best planned with at least a week's margin from the injectable treatment, so as not to interfere with the freshly applied product. In the reverse order — EstGen as skin preparation before injectables — there are no such restrictions. Your specialist will build a schedule during consultation that lets you use both methods safely.
