Density and texture — a clear goal

Men’s facial and neck skin loses collagen at a similar rate to women’s skin. The result appears in the same areas. The face loses firmness, the neck becomes less taut, and facial contours become less defined. Injectable collagen addresses this issue directly. It delivers a building block — native type I collagen — into the dermis. It also stimulates the skin’s own production. The result is density and firmness, not altered features or an obvious treatment effect.
Men’s skin is usually thicker and has a slightly different texture than women’s skin. It often responds strongly to collagen stimulation. Increased density after a series can be noticeable after just two to three sessions.

Discretion is built into the treatment

Injectable collagen does not fill or alter facial proportions — it is not a filler. It gives an effect that others read as: you look well, not: you have had something done. The treatment is well tolerated. It takes several dozen minutes and only requires a short break in your day. After a few hours, there are no visible marks. Shaving in the treatment area should be postponed for around 48 hours.
Men most often choose treatment for the face and neck, less often for the décolletage. Every plan is set individually during consultation.

A series offers more than one treatment

One treatment gives a noticeable hydration effect and gentle firmness. The density and firming sought with this treatment develop over a series of two to four sessions. The result after completing the series lasts from six months to one year. Maintenance requires one treatment per year. It is a realistic plan for skin that should look good without constant repeat visits.

Frequently asked questions

Will anyone notice that I have had something done in a salon?
No — provided the treatment is performed well. Injectable collagen improves skin density and quality. It does not alter facial features or add volume. The result is natural. Facial and neck skin looks taut, while tired-looking skin gains radiance. Others see that you look well — not the treatment.
How long does it take, and can I return to work on the same day?
The session itself takes several dozen minutes. Redness and any small bumps disappear a few hours after the treatment. Most men return to work straight away. If you have a meeting or an important contact that day, plan your treatment with a one-day buffer.
I am allergic to fish — does that rule me out of the treatment?
No. Collagen is available in several variants — fish (Linerase), equine (Nithya), marine trimeric (Tropokolagen) and bovine (Karisma). If you are allergic to fish, the specialist will select an animal-derived product from another source or marine trimeric collagen with a very low allergy potential. An allergy history is standard before every treatment.
Can I exercise on the day of the treatment?
Training before the treatment is not a problem. After the treatment, wait around 24 hours before intense exercise. Increased circulation can contribute to swelling and bruising. It is also best to avoid saunas and hot baths for 24–48 hours.
How does injectable collagen compare with my collagen supplementation?
These are two different tools with different purposes. The body breaks down a collagen supplement into amino acids. It does not reach a specific area of skin as ready-made collagen. An injection delivers native collagen directly into the dermis. It also stimulates fibroblasts locally. A diet rich in protein and antioxidants supports the treatment result — one does not replace the other.
