Anti-ageing programme for men

Men's skin ages differently — and responds to treatment differently

Men's skin is thicker and loses collagen more slowly in the first decades — but once it starts to sag, it happens fast and noticeably (sagging cheeks, deeper folds, greyness after 45). That's why the programme is often more intensive, aiming for discreet, lasting improvement without a "done" look. This is the anti-ageing treatment programme for men.

When it's worth it — indications

  • Early signs of ageing (prevention from 30+) — skin still responds very well to stimulation, so starting now offers the best value: there's less to catch up on.
  • Loss of firmness and elasticity — skin feels "less taut", looser along the jawline.
  • Sagging contour — a face that has "dropped", losing its defined line.
  • Grey, tired skin lacking radiance — a result of fatigue, photoageing and dehydration.
  • First static wrinkles — fine lines visible even at rest.
  • Dry skin that needs "feeding" — skin that no longer responds to an ordinary cream.
  • Uneven skin tone and sun damage — combined with a brightening protocol.
  • Mature skin, 45+ — a more intensive programme, focused on density and restoring radiance.

The areas we work on

  1. prevention from 30+ — stimulating collagen before wrinkles set in;
  2. rebuilding density and improving contour after 40–45;
  3. tackling greyness and a "tired" look — radiance, hydration;
  4. minimal downtime — most stages leave no trace, so meeting people right after a visit isn't a problem.

Men's skin ages differently — and responds to treatment differently

Men's skin is on average 25% thicker than women's, has more collagen in the dermis, and loses it more slowly in the first three decades. But once loss begins — usually after age 40 — it happens more abruptly, with visible effects: deeper folds, faster tissue sagging, more pronounced wrinkles at rest. Skin that looked fine a year ago can suddenly stop looking that way.
The anti-ageing treatment programme for men at J'adore Instytut accounts for this anatomical difference at every stage — from protocol choice to microneedling depth to biostimulator volume and placement. A 35-year-old with early expression lines needs a different strategy than a 50-year-old with visible loss of density and radiance. The shared goal: looking your age, in your best possible version.

Your face looks tired — even when you're well rested

After age 35, collagen synthesis drops by around 1% a year. By 45, the effects are clearly visible: deeper nasolabial folds, sagging cheeks, grey, dull skin, wrinkles visible at rest. This isn't the result of an unhealthy lifestyle — it's the skin's biochemistry, and it responds to a programme, not a single treatment.
The protocols we use work at cellular level: Dermapen activates fibroblasts to produce your own collagen, biostimulating mesotherapy restores hydration and density in the dermis, and HydraFacial removes the barrier of dead cells that blocks radiance. Results from a series of 4–8 sessions last up to 12 months — and build with each session.

Beard and shaving — how this fits with the programme

Men with beards, or those who shave regularly, have a few practical points to consider:
  • Beard — Dermapen and mesotherapy are used effectively on areas without facial hair (forehead, eye area, cheeks above the beard line). In bearded areas, we choose alternative protocols — hydrating mesotherapy, Nucleofill or Profhilo all work well on skin covered with hair.
  • Shaving — after Dermapen sessions, we recommend a 24–48 hour break from razor shaving. We schedule your sessions so you can fit this into your routine without disruption.
  • Skin under the chin and neck — this area is particularly prone to photoageing and irritation from shaving; we can include it in your programme as an extension.

Training and physical activity — what to skip, and when

Most sessions (HydraFacial, hydrating mesotherapy, LED) don't require a break from activity. Sessions with Dermapen or deeper biostimulating mesotherapy call for 24–48 hours without intense exercise or sauna — raised temperature can slow recovery. Light movement, walking, stretching — no restrictions there. We plan your schedule around your training calendar: many people book sessions for Friday or Saturday morning, so the weekend gives them a calm buffer before getting back into full training.
Physical activity doesn't weaken the programme's results — quite the opposite. Good circulation supports collagen rebuilding. The only thing that matters is that short buffer window after invasive sessions.

Result: well cared for, not different

The most common concern men have: will it be obvious that I've had something done? No. The goal of the programme is skin with noticeably better density, hydration and radiance — not changed features, not frozen expressions, and zero visible signs of intervention. We work with your own collagen and hydration, not with fillers that change the shape of your face.
People around you will notice you look better than a year ago. They won't know why.

Frequently asked questions

Does shaving get in the way of the programme, and how do I plan around it?
Razor or blade shaving should be paused for 24–48 hours after Dermapen sessions or deeper mesotherapy — skin is temporarily more sensitive to friction after microneedling. After HydraFacial or hydrating mesotherapy, you can shave normally the very next morning. At your consultation, we set a session schedule that fits easily around your daily routine.
Do I need to pause training during the series?
No — just reduce intensity for 24–48 hours after invasive sessions (Dermapen, biostimulating mesotherapy). Sauna and intense cardio in that window can slow recovery. Light movement, walking, stretching — no restrictions there. Many people schedule sessions for Friday, so the weekend acts as a buffer and they're back to full intensity by Monday.
Will anyone notice I've had something done to my skin?
The programme is built on methods that stimulate your skin's own processes — collagen production, hydration, regeneration. Nothing here changes your features or freezes your expressions. The result: you look noticeably better, but no one can pinpoint exactly what changed. Clients hear "you look great, were you on holiday?" — not questions about treatments.
How many sessions do I actually need, and how often?
The initial series is 4–6 sessions every 3–4 weeks — we tailor the number to your skin condition and goals at your initial consultation. After the series, maintenance sessions follow every 6–8 weeks. We adjust the parameters of each session — technique, products, intensity — to your skin's current state, since every visit changes it. There's no single protocol for everyone here.
Can I combine the anti-ageing treatment programme with Botox or fillers?
Yes — and it's an effective combination. The anti-ageing treatment programme improves skin quality and density from within (your own collagen, hydration). Botox smooths expression lines by relaxing muscles, without affecting skin structure. These are complementary methods working at different levels — together they produce a layered effect. If you're having Botox with an aesthetic doctor, let us know at your consultation — we'll sequence things so the effects reinforce each other.
