A treatment room at J'adoreFACIAL COSMETOLOGY
Grey, tired skin. Skin that no longer "responds" to an ordinary cream.
First wrinkles, a sagging contour, loss of firmness and radiance — this isn't something one treatment fixes. An anti-ageing treatment programme isn't a single visit — it's a planned series, designed after a skin analysis. Your cosmetologist builds a programme from treatments based on active ingredients with proven effects — retinol, peptides, hyaluronic acid and Retix.C protocols — usually spread over 3–6 months. Each stage prepares your skin for the next, and home care between visits does just as much work. The goal isn't "looking 25" — it's skin that's well cared for, denser and more radiant, without looking artificial and without downtime. At J'adore Instytut, the treatment is carried out by an experienced cosmetologist. Below you'll find everything worth knowing before your first visit.
series of 4–6 treatments every 1–2 weeks, 3–6 month programme
How it works
An anti-ageing treatment programme is a series of cosmetology treatments in which each stage does something different. Together they achieve a result no single treatment could deliver on its own. It works on three levels at once: it rebuilds (peptides and retinol prompt your skin to produce collagen), it hydrates and improves elasticity (hyaluronic acid binds water in the skin), and it brightens and protects (vitamin C and Retix.C-type protocols even out skin tone and provide antioxidant support).
The key word is plan. After the age of 35–40, skin renews collagen more slowly, and a drugstore cream stops being enough. The programme reverses this trend not with one "big hit", but with regular, cumulative stimulation — which is why we spread it over weeks and months. This is a care-focused, cosmetology treatment, not a medical one — no needles, no intervention in deeper layers, and that's exactly how we approach it.

Ideal for
Good to know: retinol (a vitamin A derivative) is one of the best-studied ingredients in cosmetology. It works by "speeding up" epidermal renewal and prompting the skin to produce collagen. That's why it's introduced gradually in the programme — skin needs to "get used to it", or it reacts with redness and flaking.
Women's and men's programmes
Women's skin is thinner and loses hydration and density earlier, with signs of ageing appearing gradually. The usual goal is restoring radiance, density and even skin tone, while staying completely natural. This is the classic anti-ageing treatment programme for women — often started as a preventive measure.
The areas we support
Men's skin is thicker and loses collagen more slowly in the first decades — but once it starts to sag, it happens fast and noticeably (sagging cheeks, deeper folds, greyness after 45). That's why the programme is often more intensive, aiming for discreet, lasting improvement without a "done" look. This is the anti-ageing treatment programme for men.
The areas we support
Good to know: the same ingredients — retinol, peptides, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C — work the same way in women and men. What differs mainly is strategy and pace: thicker male skin usually tolerates stronger concentrations better, but requires consistency, because changes in men can happen more abruptly.
Safety
With the anti-ageing treatment programme, results and safety depend on a few things worth asking about at any salon:
This is cosmetology based on active ingredients at salon-grade concentrations — at J'adore it's led by an experienced cosmetologist, following a skin analysis. They choose the sequence and decide when to increase intensity, and when to hold back.
A good programme is never "off the shelf". First comes an assessment of your skin condition and expectations, then the programme — because a 35-year-old doing prevention needs something different from mature skin at 50+.
We use only original professional-grade products (including lines with retinol, peptides, hyaluronic acid and Retix.C) sourced through legitimate channels. Non-original or poorly stored active cosmetics mean unpredictable results and a risk of irritation.
Without retinol and SPF at home, even the best series leaves half its potential on the table. A good cosmetologist gives you a specific protocol — not a shelf of expensive creams "just because".
Red flag: a suspiciously cheap "rejuvenating treatment" · A bargain price is often the first warning sign. Be wary of: "miracle" promises of looking 10 years younger after one treatment, no skin analysis before starting, unnamed products with no clear origin, and staff without cosmetology qualifications working with salon-grade actives. You have every right to ask which lines and concentrations are used, and who will run the programme — a reputable salon will answer without hesitation.
Contraindications
Some contraindications are permanent, others temporary — in that case we simply postpone the treatment until the situation passes. We always go through the full list individually at your consultation.
From the cosmetologist's chair
The most commonly overlooked issue is a fresh tan and sun exposure. Clients often arrive back from holiday "ready for an intensive programme" — but we don't apply retinol and acids to skin that's warm and sun-dried. It's better to start with hydration and recovery, and push the more intensive stages back a few weeks.
This isn't a complete list — we'll discuss your medications, health conditions, current cosmetics and previous treatments individually at your consultation, before building your programme.

The visit

Consultation & skin assessment
your cosmetologist evaluates skin condition, hydration, tone, wrinkles and your expectations, rules out contraindications, and builds a 3–6 month plan.

Initial session
usually a gentler stage: cleansing, hydration, serum infusion. Your skin gets a "base" and prepares for stronger protocols.

Stimulating sessions
subsequent visits with retinol, peptides and hyaluronic acid (plus Retix.C protocols), tailored to how your skin responds. Intensity increases gradually.

Home protocol
specific guidance: retinol in the evening (once selected), vitamin C and SPF 50+ in the morning, hydration. This is the "homework" that multiplies your in-salon results.

Follow-up and maintenance plan
after the full series, we assess results and decide: continue the programme, or move to maintenance sessions every few weeks to keep the result.
What to expect
The key point: the anti-ageing treatment programme is a long game. First results — radiance and better hydration — appear after a few weeks. A visible improvement in density, elasticity and contour only shows after the full series, because skin needs time to rebuild. This isn't a "treatment for tomorrow's wedding".
After the first visit, I often hear: "so when will I see results?" I say it plainly — the anti-ageing treatment programme is a series, not a flash of change. Smoothness and radiance show up quickly, but real change in density and contour takes weeks of work. Anyone who sticks with the plan usually doesn't want to go back to where they started.
From the cosmetologist's chair
The most common mistake I see: a client wants "everything, all at once, full strength" on the first visit. It doesn't work that way — skin needs to be introduced to actives gradually, or you get irritation instead of results. The first session is deliberately gentler; we increase intensity once I see the skin has tolerated the previous stage well.
Portfolio
A record of the work in our salons — the place where we publish treatment frames and, after photo sessions, results.
A record of results — in preparation. We publish photographs of our clients only with their consent.
Once the series is complete, results last for months — provided you keep up consistent SPF use and home care. Without maintenance, skin gradually returns to its own natural ageing pace (it doesn't "age faster in the meantime"), which is why we recommend maintenance sessions every few weeks.
The anti-ageing treatment programme and your lifestyle
Most questions aren't about the treatment itself, but about what comes after — because in this programme we work with actives (retinol, acids, vitamin C) that can make skin more sensitive to sun and friction for a few days. There's one rule: during the programme, consistent SPF and gentle handling of your skin.
After most protocols, makeup and returning to work are fine the same day or the next. After more intensive stages with acids, give your skin a few quiet hours first.
This is the foundation of the anti-ageing treatment programme — without protection, photoageing cancels out your results. Skip intensive sunbathing and sunbeds during the series, especially after stages involving retinol and acids.
High temperature intensifies redness after peels and retinol protocols. No restrictions after gentle treatments; after more intensive ones, wait 1–2 days.
Chlorine irritates freshly exfoliated skin. After acid-based stages, give your skin a day or two before you go back to the pool.
Don't combine home peels or strong acids with the programme without your cosmetologist's guidance — it's the fastest route to dryness and irritation. We introduce home retinol gradually, following the protocol.
Agree any more intensive treatments or exfoliation between visits with the person running your programme — so you don't stack two "strong hits" on skin that's already working hard.
Anti-ageing programme
The anti-ageing treatment programme is often confused with a single treatment, or with aesthetic medicine. These are different tools — and they often complement each other rather than compete:
rebuilds skin quality over time
won't give an "instant" result after one session, and won't fill a deep fold or stop an expression muscle
a one-off "special occasion" result
won't build a lasting change in skin quality — a "top-up", not a strategy
volume, muscle, deeper intervention
not a cosmetologist's task; in the anti-ageing treatment programme we work non-invasively, with no needles
Combine with
The anti-ageing treatment programme works well alongside other care treatments — they complement each other if sequenced properly. Your cosmetologist decides the order and spacing at your consultation, but the general logic stays the same:
The simplest rule I give clients: want a one-off glow "for Saturday"? Go for a single treatment. Want your skin to genuinely change quality, and have that last? Go for the programme — the series. And if the issue is volume or an expression line, that's a conversation for a doctor's consultation, not a cosmetologist's.
Ingredients and protocols
Under the label "anti-ageing treatment programme" sit several groups of active ingredients and ready-made protocols. You don't pick them "off the shelf" — your cosmetologist chooses them based on skin condition, tolerance and stage of the programme.
Prompts skin to renew itself and produce collagen; introduced gradually so skin can adapt.
Dla kogoWrinkles, loss of firmness, grey skin; the "working" stage of the programme.
Peptides act as a "signal" for the skin to produce more collagen — a lifting effect, gentler than retinol.
Dla kogoLaxity, sagging contour, sensitive skin that can't tolerate strong acids.
Binds water in the skin, improves hydration and elasticity, and "fills" fine lines from within.
Dla kogoDry, "tight" skin, fine dehydration lines, hydration during the series.
Combines antioxidant, brightening vitamin C with renewing retinol in one line — an intensive anti-age stage.
Dla kogoPhotoageing, uneven tone, lack of radiance alongside a need for renewal.
Fact: Why the differences between protocols? It comes down to strength and purpose: retinol and Retix.C are stronger and "working" ingredients (skin needs to adjust to them), while peptides and hyaluronic acid are gentler and supportive. That's why the programme isn't one ingredient — it's a carefully sequenced combination: preparation and hydration first, then a gradual introduction of actives. What matters is the choice and pace, not "the stronger, the better".
