Hair that's been lightened, balayaged and coloured repeatedly carries a history — and it often shows. Ends that fray, mid-lengths that snap under a hair clip, wet hair that stretches like rubber instead of springing back. This isn't down to the wrong shampoo — it's a sign that the internal network of protein bonds has started to loosen, and the hair is literally losing its building blocks.
Molecular reconstruction targets exactly this problem. A complex of proteins, keratin and amino acids penetrates deep into the shaft and replaces what colour and lighteners have stripped from the hair on the inside. The result you feel with your fingers — elasticity, smoothness, shine without weight — isn't a coating. It's repaired structure.

Saving length — instead of cutting it off

The most common question we hear in the salon: "can this still be saved, or do I need to cut it off?" Molecular reconstruction often shifts that line — it conditions and strengthens what's left, before scissors become the only option.
It doesn't permanently seal split ends — no treatment can "glue" split hair back together for good. But healthy, reconstructed hair breaks down much more slowly going forward. A light trim after reconstruction completes the effect: healthy hair holds its elasticity better and splits less towards the freshly cut end.

If you're planning colouring, balayage or lightening, reconstruction just beforehand is an investment, not a waste of time. Strengthened hair, replenished with building blocks:

  • Protein-hydrating mask once a week — extends the result far more than a daily conditioner;
  • Heat protection before blow-drying and straightening — heat styling is one of the main sources of future micro-damage;
  • Oil or serum for the ends after washing — seals the cuticle and adds extra protection against tangling.

Frequently asked questions

Will my bleached hair stop breaking after one visit?
One visit brings clear shine and softness — from the very first wash. But deep structural reconstruction (less breakage, real elasticity) builds up over a series. For very damaged hair, your stylist will plan several sessions at intervals and tell you what to expect after each one.
Will reconstruction straighten my waves or curls?
No — this is condition reconstruction, not straightening. Waves stay waves, curls stay curls — just healthier and more elastic. If you want permanent smoothing, that's a separate treatment.
Can I colour my hair straight after the treatment?
Yes — and that's exactly why we often combine the two. Strengthened hair takes colour better and suffers less during colouring. Your stylist will decide the exact order for your hair during the consultation.
Will my hair feel weighed down or greasy after reconstruction?
Not with a well-chosen variant. The goal is elasticity and shine, not weight. A "flattened" effect happens when the ratio of protein to hydration is wrong — which is exactly why your stylist chooses the variant for your specific hair condition, not off a shelf.
Is reconstruction different from Olaplex, which you also offer?
Yes — they work through different mechanisms. Olaplex reconnects specific bonds broken by lightener; molecular reconstruction replenishes missing building blocks throughout the shaft. For heavily damaged blonde hair, your stylist often uses both together — one without the other is only half the repair.
