Spray tan (Sun FX) for women

A tan that works for you — not the other way around

Spray tanning for women is the most common choice before a wedding, holiday or photo shoot. We aim for a delicate, natural skin tone that looks beautiful in photos and under light fabrics — which is why we carefully select the shade for your skin tone and suggest a trial session before a wedding.

When it's worth it — indications

  • Before a wedding — an even, healthy skin tone for a white dress, without the risk of sunburn just before the big day.
  • Before a holiday — a "base" tan for the flight or for those who do not want to expose their skin to the sun.
  • Before a photo shoot, party, ball or prom — the body looks slim and radiant in photos.
  • For very fair skin — which reddens easily and does not tolerate the sun well.
  • For everyone avoiding sunbeds — who wants a golden effect without UV rays and their consequences.
  • Targeted — legs only — when you want a shapely, tanned look for your legs under a dress.

The areas we work on

  1. full body colour before a wedding and reception;
  2. legs only — a shapely, tanned effect under a dress;
  3. natural tan for a session, prom, school leavers' ball, party;
  4. a shade matched to your skin tone — from delicate to intense.

A tan that works for you — not the other way around

You have an important event in a few days. A wedding, a party, a photoshoot, a prom, a last-minute summer plan — and you want to look exactly how you feel inside: healthy, radiant, well-groomed. You do not have a week for the beach or any desire for a sunbed. That is fine — because Sun FX spray tanning gives you exactly what you need: a natural-looking, even tan in one evening.
Women choose this treatment primarily when the result must be certain. Not "maybe it will work", not "we will see in a week" — but: tomorrow I look exactly as I want. The airbrush in our specialist's hands applies the preparation evenly to the whole body or selected zones — with a precision that a spray self-tanner can never achieve.

What spray tanning does for the female silhouette

Female skin has its own specifics — different epidermal thickness, varying hydration levels during different phases of the cycle, and zones with different absorption (elbows, knees, bikini line, underarms). A professional airbrush is not a random spray — it is a controlled technique that accounts for these differences.
Results appreciated by our clients:
We choose the intensity with you: delicate (a weekend by the sea effect), medium (a week of holiday) or intense (photoshoot, competition). We adjust the treatment parameters — the amount of preparation and spray intensity — to your complexion and goal, not to a template.
  • Optical slimming of the silhouette — a warm bronze on the legs, arms and décolletage visually lengthens and slims more than any remodelling treatment
  • Even skin tone — pale tan lines, unevenness from home self-tanners, and colour differences between legs and décolletage disappear
  • Natural coverage of minor imperfections — stretch marks, cellulite and minor hyperpigmentation become less visible under a warm layer of tan
  • Ready for a décolletage, dress or exposed shoulders — without long preparation, without risk

When women reach for us most often

Spray tanning is one of those treatments that has a clear seasonal rhythm — but more and more clients are discovering that the effect is natural enough to fit into the whole year.
  • Before a wedding and party — a tan for your dress, exposed shoulders and photos
  • Before flying on holiday — to start with a colour and not return pale
  • After a holiday — to refresh a fading colour before it disappears completely
  • For the prom, gala, party — be ready the same evening
  • In winter and spring — when the skin is pale and it is still too early for the sun

Frequently asked questions

Can I wear makeup and have my nails done on the day of the treatment?
Makeup and nails — yes, you can have them. It is only important what is on your body skin: on the day of the treatment, do not apply creams, lotions, oils or deodorant to the areas to be tanned. A specialist will protect your facial makeup by applying a barrier in the appropriate places. Manicure and pedicure — it is best to have them done before tanning, not after.
Can I have a spray tan during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
DHA reacts only with the outer, dead layer of the epidermis — it does not penetrate the bloodstream or tissues. However, pregnancy and breastfeeding are times for extra caution. We always recommend consulting your doctor. We are happy to answer any questions before you book your visit.
I use retinol, acids and active ingredients — does this change anything?
Active ingredients accelerate epidermal renewal, which may shorten the tan's lifespan — DHA fades faster where skin renews more dynamically. Before your treatment, wait at least 48 hours after applying retinol or an acid peel. You can return to your routine after your first shower — but be aware that intensive active skincare will shorten the effect.
Does the tan look natural in wedding photos and under photographic lights?
This is one of the most common questions from our wedding clients — and one of the biggest advantages of Sun FX. The system provides a warm, golden tan that does not look orange and works perfectly in both natural light and flash. Professional wedding photographers and make-up artists know the effect well and value it highly.
Can I combine tanning with laser or wax hair removal, peels and other treatments on the same day?
Spray tanning is always performed at the end of your visit — after all other treatments. Perform wax or laser hair removal at least 24 hours in advance — irritated skin may absorb DHA unevenly. Do your peel the day before, not on the day of the treatment. Massages or facial treatments can be performed before tanning without any issues.
