Argipeel for men — what's different

Men's skin is thicker — statistically around 20–25% thicker than women's — and produces more sebum. This makes pores more visible, skin more prone to oiliness, and, where past breakouts have occurred, uneven texture and acne scars more visible. At the same time, most men don't have a habit of regular skincare — particularly daily SPF, which is an absolute requirement with peels.
Argipeel works the same way in men as in women: gently exfoliating, firming and improving skin condition. The difference lies in what typically bothers men — and what result they're looking for. The most common indications in men are:

No dramatic effect — what this means in practice

The most common concern men have about peels is a visible result: "I'll be peeling, everyone will see it, I can't go to work." Argipeel doesn't work that way. Usually, only mild redness appears on the same day — and that's it. No peeling in flakes, no days of downtime.
The firming and skin-condition effect builds up over a series, not immediately — for men, this is both an advantage (no dramatic overnight change) and a requirement (you need consistency). A series of 4–6 sessions every 1–2 weeks gives a noticeably better and longer-lasting result than one stronger session.

SPF — the one home-care rule you can't skip

Men use SPF cream less often on a daily basis — but with peels, this isn't optional. Freshly exfoliated skin reacts more easily to UV: without SPF 50+, the effect of the peel fades faster and the risk of hyperpigmentation rises. This isn't marketing exaggeration — it's a biological mechanism.

Will this actually change anything, or is it just a relaxing treatment?
Argipeel is a treatment with real results — improved skin condition, a smoother surface, better tightness. It works on two levels: surface exfoliation and stimulating the skin towards greater elasticity. Brightening and smoothing are visible immediately; firming builds up over a series. If your skin is oily, grey, or shows acne marks — these are concrete problems this peel genuinely improves.
Can I go straight to work after the treatment?
In most cases — yes. Usually only mild redness appears, which fades within a few hours. Argipeel is gentle, without intense exfoliation and without days of downtime. If you have an important meeting the same day, mention it to your cosmetologist — they'll adjust the treatment's strength.
I have acne scars — will this help?
Argipeel smooths the skin's surface and improves its condition, making post-acne unevenness less visible session by session. It's not a treatment for deep, pitted scars (other methods are needed for those), but for superficial unevenness and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, a series of Argipeel makes a real difference.
I don't use any creams — what should I do after the treatment?
The minimum after a peel is three things: hydration (one cream), no retinol or strong acids for 5–7 days, and — most importantly — SPF 50+ every day during and after the series. You don't need an elaborate skincare routine. During your consultation, your cosmetologist will recommend specific products — simple and quick to use.
Can I train on the same day as the treatment?
It's best to wait until the following day. Intense exercise and heavy sweating right after a peel can increase redness and cause stinging. Training before the treatment doesn't block anything — just give your skin a few hours of rest after your visit.
