Occasion styling is mostly associated with women's updos and hairstyles — and rightly so, since it's women's hair we curl, pin up and shape most often for big days. But men come to J'adore before weddings, galas, important meetings or photoshoots too — and we help there as well.
Men's occasion styling is mainly about careful hair styling, so the hairstyle holds its shape all day, photographs well, and doesn't look like a "helmet". If you wear a beard, we also tidy its line so it's consistent with a suit or jacket. The goal is simple: a hairstyle that works invisibly — holds, looks natural, and doesn't need fixing between the ceremony and dinner.
Classic wedding updos are a women's hairstyle category — for men, we focus on styling and shaping, not updos.

Won't this look fake or overdone?
Good men's styling works invisibly: the hairstyle holds all day but still looks like your own hair, not like a hairstyle "forced into shape". We choose products and technique to suit your hair type and the occasion, so the result looks natural, not staged.

Yes — we style hair so it looks clean, holds its shape under lighting, and photographs well, shot after shot. If you wear a beard, we tidy its line so everything is consistent.
How long does men's occasion styling last?
Professionally chosen and applied products hold the shape all day or evening — without a stiff look, and without needing touch-ups. You can go straight from your visit to the event.
Do I need to come with freshly washed hair?
For blow-drying loose hair, usually yes. If you're not sure, ask when booking — we'll advise what works best for your specific look.
