Endermology LPG for men — love handles, spare tyre and recovery after training

You've got the diet, you've got the training — and still the same love handles. LPG is mechanics, not magic: it breaks down stubborn tissue and speeds up recovery where diets can't reach.

Some men train regularly and eat sensibly. Yet for years they can't shift stubborn fat around the abdomen and waist. It's not poor diet or neglect. In certain areas, fat tissue simply behaves like a guest who won't leave. Endermology LPG is a mechanical tool for exactly this problem. Vacuum massage boosts circulation in stagnant tissue, mobilises visceral fat and drains it. And for many men, there's an equally important benefit: it speeds up muscle recovery after intensive strength and running sessions. No needles, no invasive procedure, no downtime. Below: exactly what it does, and who it's for.

Why love handles stay put — and why training doesn't shift them

Visceral fat — around the abdomen and waist — is evolutionarily "privileged". The body treats it as a reserve and holds onto it, even during a significant calorie deficit. On top of that, subcutaneous tissue in these areas is often poorly vascularised. Circulation is limited, lymph doesn't drain efficiently, and fat cells sit locked within a dense network of connective tissue. Training burns calories overall — but it doesn't reach the microenvironment of specific fat deposits.

LPG works locally on this microenvironment. The device head combines vacuum suction with mechanical rolling. It mobilises skin and subcutaneous tissue layer by layer, boosting microcirculation and lymph flow in that specific area. This isn't fat "burning" through heat or ultrasound. It's mechanical unblocking of tissue, so it can re-enter normal metabolism. The body does the rest.

LPG for men — what can realistically happen

To be honest — LPG isn't liposuction, and it doesn't work like liposuction. With a regular series, many men see a gradual reduction in abdomen and waist circumference, reduced puffiness in the face and neck (there's also a "lifting LPG" protocol), and improved skin firmness. Results aren't instant or one-off. They fade without regular maintenance. This is a tool for someone who treats their body as a long-term project — not a single magic session.

What LPG can offer men

realistic results with a regular series

  • reduced circumference around the love handles and abdomen for many men
  • improved skin elasticity after fat reduction
  • drainage and reduced swelling in the lower limbs
  • faster muscle recovery after strength training
  • release of tension in connective tissue of the back and thighs

What LPG won't replace

limitations — no illusions

  • aerobic and strength training
  • a calorie deficit for fat loss
  • liposuction for significant excess fat
  • a dermatologist for deep scars and stretch marks

Recovery after training — a separate reason men come back

Many men start with LPG for their love handles and stay for the recovery. Intensive strength and running training leaves inflammation, micro-tears and lymphatic congestion in the muscles. Ordinary muscle soreness fades on its own. But with high training volumes, tissue stays chronically tense, and circulation in muscle groups can be impaired — especially in the thighs, calves and lower back.

The LPG recovery protocol works on the same mechanisms as contouring — vacuum plus rolling — but applied to muscle groups rather than fat zones. For many people, the result is faster removal of metabolic waste products, better fascia mobility and a noticeable drop in muscle soreness after the session. Some professional and amateur athletes build LPG into their regular weekly recovery schedule.

  • Gym and strength training: tense muscle groups (chest, back, thighs) — fascia and circulation mobilisation after a heavy training week
  • Running and endurance sports: calves, iliotibial band, lower back — drainage after exertion and prevention of overtraining
  • Sedentary work plus training: hip and lower back tension, stagnation in the lower limbs — LPG as tissue decompression
  • Body reduction alongside training: contouring plus accelerated tissue metabolism in areas that don't respond to exercise

What the treatment involves — zero surprises

You put on a bodysuit (provided by the salon — thin, and fits snugly). Then you lie down on the couch. Your specialist guides the device head over your skin. Movements are methodical, based on a tissue map for that day. You'll feel squeezing and rolling — not pain. Tenser or more stagnant areas can feel more intense, especially in the first few sessions.

  1. 01

    Consultation & tissue mapping

We discuss your goals — contouring, recovery or both — assess your tissue condition, and agree a protocol and number of sessions. No pressure to decide on the spot.

  2. 02

    Initial series

The first sessions focus on "waking up" tissue — circulation, drainage, mobilisation. Many people start to feel results after a few sessions.

  3. 03

    Intensive sessions

We work on specific zones — waist, abdomen, thighs — or follow the recovery protocol. Consistency matters more than volume. Results build up cumulatively.

  4. 04

    Maintenance

Once you've achieved results, occasional sessions every few weeks maintain them. Without maintenance, tissue returns to its starting point — though more slowly than before.

You can go straight back to your normal day after the treatment — office, driving, training. Your skin may look slightly red for a short while, but this fades quickly. If you're using LPG for recovery after training, you'll usually feel muscle relief immediately after the session.

Who uses LPG — and who it's not for

LPG is for men who already do the work — training, eating well — and want a tool that reaches areas where the fundamentals work too slowly, or not at all. Most commonly, we see:

  • Active men over 30 who can't shift their waist circumference despite training and diet
  • Amateur athletes looking for better recovery between training sessions
  • Men after significant weight loss, with loose skin and reduced elasticity
  • Those who want to smooth a surgical scar or improve tissue after an injury

Manual lymphatic drainage

Before a series of LPG sessions — it "wakes up" the lymphatic system, so the device's mechanical drainage works more effectively from the first session.

Cryostimulation / cryotherapy

After intensive training — LPG for muscle recovery plus cryotherapy for inflammation. A recovery combination for active men.

Needle mesotherapy for the abdomen

For stubborn fat areas — mesotherapy mobilises fat chemically, LPG mechanically. Combining the two can give more noticeable results than either treatment alone.

Deep tissue massage

A complement to the recovery protocol for significant muscle tension in the back and thighs — areas where the LPG head has limited access.
