What brow lamination actually does

Lamination chemically softens and sets brow hairs in a chosen direction. It adds no colour, no tattoo, no implant under the skin. It works on the hair's structure: for a moment it becomes pliable like clay, you set it where you want, then fix it in place. The result: brows stay arranged the way they should — not however they feel like growing.

For men, the treatment often gives a more visible result than for women — simply because there's more to work with. Thick, dense, often longer hairs settle into a uniform "field" after lamination, instead of sticking out chaotically. Brows become denser, optically darker (more hair surface visible from above), fuller. And importantly — natural. No gel or pomade gives this volume while keeping a relaxed look.

Not just a "women's treatment" — why men respond differently

The goal for women is often an arched, lifted shape — a dramatic "fan brow". The goal for men is different, and entirely separate:

• Taming unruliness — hairs growing sideways, upward, or creating a "mess" in the middle of the brow
• Making brows look larger without any drawing-in — thicker hairs laid flat give the impression of a bigger, denser brow

What the treatment actually involves — no embellishment

You start with a short conversation about what bothers you — usually "they go in different directions" or "they stick out at the sides". Your cosmetologist examines your brows, assesses the growth direction and decides how firmly and at what angle to set them. Then:

   Removing sebum and cosmetic residue — without this, the product won't absorb evenly.

   The formula chemically softens the hair's structure, making it pliable enough to set. It doesn't hurt or pull.

   Your cosmetologist brushes each hair into the target direction and secures it on a special film or silicone pad.

   Fixing

   A second formula fixes each hair in its new position. This is the step that "remembers" the setting for several weeks.

   Nourishing

   Keratin or a nourishing formula — hair needs hydration after the chemical process, so it doesn't turn dry and brittle.

   Optional shape correction

   If you like, any stray hairs outside the shape can be removed at the end. This step is optional.

Results and how long they last — specifically

Lamination results can last several weeks — how quickly the effect fades depends mainly on your hair growth cycle and how fast new, unset hairs come through. With regular sessions, you can often space them further apart, because hair frequently "remembers" the direction, at least partly.

For the whole duration of the effect, your brows stay in place on their own. You can wipe your face, step out of the shower, dry it with a towel — and your brows will still be where they should be. For men who used to battle bristly, scattered brows, this is a change in the quality of the morning, not just the look.

Lamination vs daily "brow management" — what you can't achieve on your own

For years, many men looked for a product that would "hold" an unruly brow. Gels, waxes, pomades, hairspray. They work for a moment — and fall apart the first time you touch your face. Lamination is fundamentally different: it changes the hair's structure itself, rather than just gluing it in place.

What you can combine with lamination

Lamination is a good starting point, but some men choose additional treatments that complement the effect or address a different issue in the same area:
