Arosha bandages / body wrapping for women

Women's skin responds differently — and this is exactly what Arosha addresses

The most common scenario is contouring and drainage before an important event, along with addressing cellulite and retention. This is the classic use of Arosha bandages for women — thighs, buttocks, abdomen, arms, "heavy" legs.

When it's worth it — indications

  • Swelling and "heavy legs" — puffiness by the end of the day, after long periods of standing, sitting or flying.
  • Water retention — retained water before your period, a "bloated" abdomen, swollen ankles.
  • Cellulite and orange-peel skin — especially on the thighs and buttocks, with a series.
  • A "last-minute" fix before an occasion — a wedding, a photoshoot, a holiday; visible improvement in measurements after 1 or a few sessions.
  • Body contouring — as part of a programme combined with diet, exercise and device-based methods.
  • Detox and recovery — after intense exercise, travel or a change in diet.
  • Post-pregnancy skin — support for firming and tone (after breastfeeding has ended, following consultation).

Women's skin responds differently — and this is exactly what Arosha addresses

Women's fat tissue is arranged vertically — fat cells stack like columns, which makes cellulite appear more easily, more deeply, and more resistant to typical treatments. Women's skin is on average a third thinner than men's, and oestrogen levels favour water retention, particularly around the thighs, abdomen and inner arms. Arosha was designed from the outset with this type of tissue in mind. The active substances — caffeine, L-carnitine, ivy extract, seaweed — have a shorter path to reach the cellulite-affected subcutaneous tissue than any cream. The closed bandage wrap and the resulting greenhouse effect increase penetration even further. The result: the treatment works precisely where diet and exercise alone aren't enough.

What Arosha does for women's silhouettes

Women choose this ritual for four main reasons — and Arosha addresses each one differently:
  • Cellulite — from stage I to stage III — caffeine and ivy extract stimulate lipolysis and improve microcirculation directly within cellulite-affected tissue. A visible change in skin texture after 4–6 sessions is the norm, not the exception.
  • Water retention and evening puffiness — the Detox Body line works like lymphatic drainage contained in a bandage. The feeling of heavy legs eases after just the first session.
  • Laxity after pregnancy, weight loss or hormonal changes — aminophylline and seaweed restore firmness to the skin of the abdomen and thighs. A series of 8–10 sessions delivers results you can see without measuring.
  • Contouring before an important moment — no complicated logic here: a 1–3 cm reduction in measurements is measurable after a single treatment. Your dress fits more comfortably.

Rhythm and frequency — how it works with your hormonal cycle

Hormonal fluctuations have a direct impact on the intensity of water retention and the visibility of cellulite. Our specialist at J'adore takes this into account when planning your series — sessions scheduled during the second half of your cycle, when retention peaks, deliver faster and more noticeable draining effects. During the first half of the cycle, we work more intensively on lipolysis and firmness. This isn't random bandage-wrapping — it's a protocol matched to your body at that particular moment.

Sensitive, atopic skin, or skin undergoing active care

If you use exfoliating acids, retinol, or are in the middle of intensive skin treatment — tell your specialist before the session. Arosha is based on natural substances, but skin prepared with acids absorbs active ingredients faster and more intensively. In that case, we adjust the protocol to account for your current skincare routine. Atopic skin or skin prone to irritation — possible, always based on your specialist's assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply makeup and go straight out afterwards?
The treatment covers the body, not the face — you can go straight to your event. Mild redness on the wrapped areas fades within an hour. Many clients book Arosha right before a wedding, photoshoot or event precisely because it requires no recovery period at all.
Is Arosha safe while breastfeeding?
The treatment is contraindicated during pregnancy. During breastfeeding, we decide individually at consultation — it depends on the Arosha lines used and your general health. There's always a safe variant we can suggest.
I use retinol and acids — will that affect the treatment?
Yes, and in a good way — better-prepared skin absorbs active substances more effectively. Tell your specialist about your skincare routine so we can choose the right protocol and avoid layering products that might interact. You don't need to pause your skincare.
I want a natural-looking result — will it be obvious I had a treatment?
No, it won't. Arosha doesn't change facial features or proportions — it works on the body. The result is smooth, firm skin and fewer centimetres in measurements. You'll look like yourself, just more rested and lighter — that's the comment we hear most often from clients after the session.
Can I combine Arosha with LPG endermology or Emtone?
This is one of the most effective combinations for body contouring. Arosha complements lymphatic drainage between device-based sessions and delivers active substances during the window when tissue is still open after mechanical treatment. The results of a combined programme are far better than either treatment on its own.
