When it's worth it — indications

Cellulite — at various stages, most commonly on the thighs and buttocks ("orange-peel skin").
Lax thigh skin — inner and outer thigh, where skin has lost firmness.
Abdominal laxity — after pregnancy or significant weight loss, when skin needs firming.
Buttocks — lifting and improved firmness without changing volume.
Arms — laxity on the inner arm ("bat wings").
Uneven skin texture — general improvement in smoothness and surface firmness.

The areas we work on

love handles and the "muffin top" — firming and improving contour;
lax abdomen after significant weight loss;
supporting fascia recovery after sport;
zero downtime — training the same day is no problem.

Cellulite in men — anatomy, not embarrassment

Male connective tissue is structured differently from female tissue — the collagen septa form a network rather than running vertically, which makes cellulite statistically less visible. But "less visible" isn't "absent". After rapid weight loss, with a sedentary lifestyle, with age-related hormonal changes — cellulite in men appears most often on the flanks, lower abdomen and thighs. And it doesn't respond to strength training or a calorie deficit, because the problem isn't fat mass but connective tissue structure.

Emtone BTL works directly on that structure. The pressure wave mechanically breaks down connective tissue septa, radiofrequency heats tissue to 40–42°C and activates fibroblasts — the cells that produce new collagen. Both processes happen simultaneously, in a single applicator, with no downtime.

Where it gives men the best results

We most often use Emtone on the flanks and waist — the areas that first reveal a lack of movement or years spent sitting at a desk. The second area is the lower abdomen and above the hips — especially after losing 10–20 kg, when skin loses firmness faster than collagen can rebuild. The third zone, which men mention less often but frequently raise during consultation, is the inner thighs and lower buttocks.

The protocol — intensity of both energies, number of zones per session, intervals between sessions — is tailored individually to anatomy and goal. The series usually consists of 4–6 sessions.

Emtone as part of a body-shaping plan

Emtone doesn't build muscle or reduce fat the way cryolipolysis does. Its role is precise: it tightens skin, smooths texture and reduces cellulite — in the places strength and cardio training can't reach. It works well as a follow-up after a cryolipolysis series (fat reduced, skin now needs tightening), or as a standalone treatment for laxity after weight loss.

Physical activity between sessions isn't just allowed — it enhances the results. The improved microcirculation triggered by Emtone and physical activity work synergistically on connective tissue quality.

Discretion and time — two priorities

One zone takes 20–30 minutes. A series of four sessions means four visits, with no downtime and no restrictions on work or training. Slight redness after the treatment fades within 30–60 minutes. Results build gradually — for several weeks after the last session, collagen continues to remodel, which means there's no sudden change in appearance to explain.

Your visit is confidential. Photographic documentation is taken only for clinical purposes, at the client's explicit request, and stays within the J'adore Instytut system.

Frequently asked questions

Can I shave the area before the treatment?

Yes — shaving the treatment area has no effect on how Emtone works or its results. If comfort matters to you, you can shave the area the day before the session, or come with normal body hair. The conductive gel is applied directly to the skin regardless of hair.

Can I go to the gym the same day as the treatment?

Yes — Emtone has no restrictions on physical activity after the session. Training the same day is fine and doesn't interfere with the results. If anything, physical activity during the series supports the tissue effects of the treatment.

Will anyone notice I've had something done?

Emtone's results build gradually over several weeks — there's no sudden, dramatic change after a single visit. People around you tend to register the improvement as general better shape, not as evidence of a specific treatment. This is one of the reasons men value this method.

Does Emtone help after a gym programme, when skin hasn't "caught up" with muscle?

Exactly. After intensive strength training and diet, muscles firm up, but skin can remain lax — especially on the abdomen and flanks. Emtone stimulates new collagen production and tightens the skin from within, improving the visibility of your training results. We often use it as a finishing step once you've reached your target physique.

Can Emtone be combined with other body-contouring treatments?

Yes — we most often combine it with cryolipolysis (fat reduction first, then Emtone skin tightening) or with Storz Medical. We plan the combination during consultation, based on your priorities and visit schedule.
