FACIAL COSMETOLOGY

Clean pores and glow
“in one visit”

Grey, dull skin, clogged pores, skin that stays dehydrated despite regular moisturisers — this is a familiar "in-between" state. Nothing is seriously wrong, but the radiance is clearly missing.

HydraFacial is a treatment that combines pore cleansing, gentle acid exfoliation and serum infusion in a single visit — no pain, no redness and no downtime. It's one of the most popular facial treatments worldwide, but it's not a "magic button": it works because it combines three stages precisely in one motion. At J'adore Instytut, an experienced cosmetologist performs it on the original HydraFacial MD device (BeautyHealth, USA). Below you'll find everything worth knowing before your first visit.

  • Grey, dull skin
  • Clogged, enlarged pores
  • Dehydrated skin
  • Uneven texture
  • Oily and combination skin

How it works

How it works

HydraFacial is built on patented Vortex-Fusion technology: a spiral tip creates gentle suction that, in one motion, draws impurities out of the pores while delivering serum into the skin at the same time. This is the key difference from other treatments — skin isn't just cleansed and left irritated, it's cleansed and nourished immediately.

Exfoliation happens through hydradermabrasion — gentle exfoliation with water and acids, without the micro-trauma of abrasive methods. That's why there's no redness or need to "hide" afterwards — it's a non-invasive cosmetology treatment, and we treat it as such.

Three levels of skin in cross-section: the stratum corneum right at the top, the sebaceous gland openings within the epidermis beneath it, and deepest of all the dermis. The handpiece exfoliates the stratum corneum, extracts the contents of the pores and delivers serum, all at once. The treatment works at the surface — it does not go below the epidermis.
  1. Stratum corneumdead skin lifted during the treatment
  2. Sebaceous gland openingwhere the congestion is cleared from
  3. Dermisdeeper than this cleansing reaches

Ideal for

Ideal for

  1. Grey, dull skinwhen skin has lost its radiance and looks tired.
  2. Clogged, enlarged poresblackheads on the nose, chin, forehead.
  3. Dehydrated skindespite regular use of moisturisers.
  4. Uneven texturerough, not smooth to the touch.
  5. Oily and combination skinshine, excess sebum in the T-zone.
  6. Preparing for an eventglow with zero downtime, makeup straight after.
  7. First salon visita safe, pain-free start for anyone who's "never had anything done".
  8. Part of regular skincarekeeping skin in good condition every few weeks.
  9. HydraFacial is a versatile treatment — it suits most skin types and ages (from teenagers, with parental consent, to mature skin). For more advanced concerns — deep hyperpigmentation, scars, active inflammatory acne — it can be part of a broader treatment plan rather than a standalone solution. Your cosmetologist will assess this at consultation.

Women's and men's skin

The differences

For her

Skin that knows its own rhythm

The most common goal is radiance, hydration and an even skin tone — often ahead of a specific event, or as a regular part of skincare. This is the classic HydraFacial for women: serum and boosters chosen for dehydrated, mature or lightly pigmented skin.

The areas we support

  1. refresh, a "glow" before a wedding, a photoshoot, or the holidays;
  2. skin that stays dehydrated despite moisturisers — deep hydration;
  3. the Platinum / Red Carpet version with a booster (Britenol for radiance, Dermabuilder for peptides) and LED therapy;
  4. subtle anti-ageing support for fine lines.
For him

Skin no one ever taught how to care for

Men's skin is thicker, produces more sebum and reacts to shaving — hence the focus on clearing pores and calming irritation. This is HydraFacial for men: straightforward, quick, no fuss — you go in and come out with clean skin.

The areas we support

  1. clogged pores on the nose and chin, T-zone shine;
  2. irritation and ingrown hairs after shaving;
  3. a quick skin reset before a meeting, event or trip;
  4. zero downtime — a meeting an hour after your visit isn't a problem.

Fun fact: HydraFacial has a transparent collection chamber for impurities — after the treatment you can literally see what's been drawn out of your pores (sebum, dead skin, product residue). For many people, that's the most convincing part of the whole treatment.

Safety

What really determines the result

"HydraFacial" isn't a marketing buzzword — it's a specific technology with patented tips and dedicated serums that have no substitutes. The result and safety depend on three things worth asking about at any salon:

  1. Who performs it

    At J'adore, the treatment is carried out by an experienced cosmetologist, who assesses your skin, chooses the right suction intensity and serum, and rules out contraindications.

  2. Whether the device and materials are genuine

    We work with the original HydraFacial MD (BeautyHealth, USA), FDA and CE certified, using original serums, boosters and tips. Substitutes and "similar" platforms don't give the same results.

  3. Which variant and which serum

    There's no single "HydraFacial for everyone" — the variant (Classic / Deluxe / Platinum) and booster are chosen for your skin and goal, which is why the consultation is part of the treatment.

Red flag: a suspiciously cheap "HydraFacial" · A bargain price is the most common warning sign. Under the name "hydrafacial", some salons sell ordinary hydrogen cleansing on a non-original platform, with substitute serums instead of dedicated ones. You have every right to ask about the device name (HydraFacial MD), the authenticity of the serums and boosters, and who performs the treatment. A good salon will answer without hesitation. "Miraculous" promises to erase hyperpigmentation or scars in one session are another red flag — HydraFacial improves skin condition; it doesn't replace medical peels or laser.

Contraindications

When to postpone the treatment

HydraFacial is one of the safest facial treatments, but some contraindications are permanent while others are temporary — in the latter case, we simply postpone the treatment until the situation resolves. It's a non-invasive treatment (no needles, no breaking of the skin), so the list is short:

We don't perform it
  • Active cold sores (Herpes)anywhere on the face — even if outside the treatment area. An active skin infection means postponing the treatment until it heals.
  • Extensive, purulent inflammationof the skin — needs assessment and calming down first.
  • Fresh wounds, abrasions, burnswe wait until the skin has healed.
  • Current or recent isotretinoin useplease tell your specialist.
  • Recent laser treatments or deep peelswe wait for skin to recover.
  • Allergy to any serum ingredientrare; the full ingredient list is available at consultation.

From the cosmetologist's chair

The most commonly forgotten point: cold sores. "I only have one on my lip, and the treatment covers the whole face — is that really a problem?" Yes — an active virus risks spreading, so it's better to postpone by a few days. The second point is pregnancy: the basic version can usually be performed once a safe protocol is chosen (no high-concentration salicylic acid) — always let us know about pregnancy when booking.

This isn't a complete list — we'll discuss your medications, skin conditions and previous treatments individually at consultation.

What to expect

No surprises

The key point: the glow is visible immediately. It's one of the few facial treatments after which skin looks better the moment you leave the salon — radiant, hydrated, smooth to the touch, with no redness.

  1. Faza 1.immediatelyglow effect — clean, hydrated, radiant skin; makeup can be applied right away
  2. Faza 2.a few daysfreshness and hydration continue; pores visibly clearer

  4. Faza 4.maintenancea session every few weeks as a regular part of skincare
Some people expect a single HydraFacial to "fix" hyperpigmentation or scars. That's not how it works — one session mainly delivers radiance and clear pores. We build real, lasting changes in tone and texture through a series, and for more advanced concerns we combine HydraFacial with other methods.

What's normal right after the treatment

  • slight tingling during the exfoliation stage — fades during the treatment;
  • a suction sensation during extraction — painless, described as neutral or even pleasant;
  • brief, mild warmth in the skin — with no lasting redness.

The effect is cumulative — with regular sessions, skin maintains better condition and blackheads recur less often. Zero downtime means you can fit the treatment into a packed schedule — even during a lunch break.

HydraFacial and your lifestyle

What's fine, and when

HydraFacial requires no downtime — that's one of its biggest advantages. The restrictions are minimal and mostly cover the first few hours to one day, simply to let freshly cleansed skin settle.

  1. Makeup

    immediately

    HydraFacial leaves no redness — you can apply makeup right after your visit. It's a classic "lunchtime" treatment: you go straight back to your day.

  2. Sun and SPF

    SPF daily

    HydraFacial doesn't sensitise skin to the sun the way strong acid peels do. It's best to skip direct sun exposure on the day of the treatment, and SPF 30–50 remains a constant rule, regardless of treatment.

  3. Sauna and hot baths

    skip on the day of the treatment

    High temperatures and sweating on freshly cleansed skin aren't ideal. Save the sauna and hot baths for the next day.

  4. Swimming pool

    wait about 1 day

    Chlorinated water right after the treatment can be irritating. It's best to hold off on the pool for a day, especially with younger or sensitive skin.

  5. Home peels and retinol

    pause for a few days

    Pause strong acids and retinol in your home routine for a few days. HydraFacial has already exfoliated your skin — don't add a second layer of irritation.

  6. Training and sweat

    a few hours

    Heavy sweating on freshly cleansed skin isn't ideal. If you train in the morning, book the treatment for the evening, or wait a few hours after your visit.
