Brow PMU is primarily a domain for women, and this is where we design most fully. Permanent brows for women most often aim to add density, even out shape and gently lift the arch — so the eyes "open up" and your morning routine loses a step. We match arch, colour and technique to your features, complexion and the way you wear everyday makeup.

When it's worth it — indications

Brows that suit you — not a catalogue

Women usually come to us for one of two reasons: either their brows have always been sparse and light — and they're tired of the daily drawing ritual — or years of the thin-brow trend have left gaps and asymmetry that pencil can no longer even out. Brow PMU offers something makeup can't: a stable, well-designed starting point — shape and colour ready every morning, even without makeup.

Importantly, we match it to your face, complexion and the way you wear everyday makeup. A heavily filled brow (ombré) can overwhelm delicate features; an ultra-natural brow (microblading) can blur within weeks on oily skin. That's why consultation starts with a skin assessment, not with asking about your favourite technique.

Arch, colour, symmetry — our focus for women

When designing brows for women, we pay particular attention to several things:

Arch and lift — a gently lifted arch visually opens up the eyes; the effect is subtle but noticeable even without makeup.
Symmetry, not identical twins — brows are sisters, not twins; we match the shape to your features rather than forcing a mirror image.
Rebuilding after over-plucking — a missing brow tail or gaps in the middle are the most common story; pigment fills them in point by point.
Warm, soft colour — cool tones tend to turn grey or pink over the years; we aim for tones that fade gracefully.

Pre-treatment nerves — what women experience most often

Two moments cause the most anxiety: just before pigmentation (will it be too dark, too thick a line?) and in the second week of healing, when the colour lightens dramatically after the scabs come off and it feels like everything has disappeared. Both are predictable and normal. Straight after the treatment, the brow is deliberately more intense — that's standard. The final, softer result only appears after about 3–4 weeks, and we finish it at the touch-up.

If you're planning a wedding, photo shoot or important event, book your PMU at least 8–10 weeks in advance to allow time for the first session to heal and for the touch-up.

Frequently asked questions

Will brow PMU suit my makeup style — I sometimes go natural, sometimes bold?

Yes — we match colour and shape to the base version of your face, meaning the one without makeup. PMU is a starting point; day to day you can leave it as is, and in the evening add pencil for more definition. Permanent brows don't lock you into one style.

I'm worried one side will turn out uneven — what if the linergist makes a mistake?

We draw the shape first with a dry pencil, and nothing happens until you approve it in the mirror. You're in full control before pigmentation begins. Any small differences that can appear during healing (skin heals unevenly) are corrected at the touch-up after 4–6 weeks — that's exactly what it's for.

Will brow PMU speed up the loss of my natural hairs?

No. PMU deposits pigment into the superficial layer of the skin — it doesn't affect the hair follicles or the growth cycle of your brow hairs.

I have vascular, reddened skin — can I get microblading?

Vascular skin is exactly the type where we advise against microblading. Hair strokes tend to blur on this skin type. An ombré/powder or hybrid method is a much better choice here — both age well regardless of skin reactivity.

How long after brow PMU can I start using retinol and acids?

Absolutely not until fully healed. Once healed (approximately 4–6 weeks after the touch-up), you can return to active skincare — but keep in mind that retinol and acids speed up skin exfoliation, which genuinely shortens how long PMU lasts. It's best to apply them avoiding the brow area, or to reduce how often you use them there.
