PMU lips for women

Lips that look like yours — only better

This is a treatment designed primarily for women. Permanent lip makeup for women usually means gently refreshing colour and completing the contour — a "blended lipstick" effect, not a bold line. We work on naturalness, symmetry, and a colour chosen to match your skin tone, so your lips look fresh even without makeup.
Czas
treatment + mandatory touch-up after around 4–6 weeks
Efekt
long-lasting, not "forever" — it naturally fades and needs periodic refreshing
Regeneracja
the longest healing phase of any PMU area — a few days of swelling, scabbing and colour fading
Seria
main session + touch-up after ~4–6 weeks (standard), then periodic refreshing

When it's worth it — indications

  • Pale, "disappearing" lips — when your natural colour is light and your face looks tired without lipstick.
  • Colour loss with age — lips gradually lose pigment and contour definition over time.
  • Unclear or uneven contour — when the lip border "blurs" and lipstick keeps bleeding out.
  • Slight asymmetry — optically evening out a shape you correct daily with lip liner.
  • Convenience and morning speed — ready lips with no daily application, resistant to coffee, meals and swimming.
  • Scar / gap in colour — for example after an old lip injury; colour evening-out, following assessment by the linergist.
  • Allergy to coloured cosmetics — when lipsticks cause irritation but you still want defined lips.

The areas we work on

  1. lip blush — soft shading and a natural shade (the most common choice);
  2. contour — a clean emphasis on shape without colour fill;
  3. aquarelle / ombre — a fuller, watercolour-style diffusion of colour across the whole lip;
  4. evening out slight asymmetry and a "disappearing" lip border.

Lips that look like yours — only better

The most common thing we hear is: I want to look as though I'm wearing makeup, but as though I'm not. That's the essence of permanent lip makeup from a woman's perspective. Lip PMU doesn't give you a new face — it restores and enhances what's already yours: colour that fades with age, a contour that blurs, and the freshness that otherwise takes fifteen minutes each morning with liner and lipstick.
Most clients come in at one of three points in life: when their morning makeup routine becomes a chore they'd like to shorten; when they notice their face looks grey and tired without lipstick, because their natural lip colour has visibly faded; or when a slight asymmetry or fading contour starts to bother them more than it ever used to. Lip PMU answers each of these needs — precisely, durably, and so naturally that the result often can't be spotted as makeup at all.

Choosing colour and technique — what this means for you

For women, lip PMU is, in the vast majority of cases, lip blush — a soft, shaded tint that gives the effect of naturally blended lipstick. This is a very different approach from the bold 1990s contour, which today is no longer the standard but a deliberate, aesthetic choice.
Colour is chosen for you — not from a favourite shade on a palette. Lips with a cool, bluish undertone need a warmer pigment (peach, coral) to look healthy. Warm skin tones with naturally pink lips can carry a pure pink or nude shade. The linergist proposes a shade, applies a sample and shows you the result in the mirror — before a needle ever touches your skin. There's no guesswork here.
An added benefit for those who avoid lipstick-type products due to sensitivity or allergies: PMU completely eliminates daily contact with cosmetic dyes. Your lips are ready from the moment you wake up — no applicator, no touch-ups after coffee.

The daily ritual before and after — how lip PMU fits into your routine

Before the treatment, it's worth starting to hydrate your lips more intensively a few days in advance — soft, well-hydrated lips take pigment more evenly. If you use products containing retinol or fruit acids daily, avoid the lip area for a few weeks before your visit (the linergist will confirm details at your consultation).
After the treatment, during healing you give up lipsticks, glosses and any coloured lip cosmetics — you stick to the recommended regenerating ointment only. For a few days, avoid saunas, prolonged water contact on the face, intense exercise and spicy food. It sounds serious, but it usually fits comfortably into a normal week — a few days of caution, not weeks of recovery.
Once healed, SPF lip balm is the one permanent change worth adding to your routine — UV lightens fresh pigment and shortens how long the colour lasts. Stick to a balm free of acids and retinol for the first few months, and that's it.

Lip PMU alongside other aesthetic decisions

Lip PMU and lip filler are different tools — one works on colour and contour, the other on volume. Women often combine both, but in a specific order and with a suitable gap between them, determined by a specialist. Lip PMU pairs well with subtle filler: the colour highlights the contouring effect, and the contour keeps it visually defined.
If you have old permanent lip makeup — turning bluish, too dark, or blurred — this section matters especially to you. Not every old PMU can simply be covered with a new colour. Sometimes laser lightening is needed first, and only then a new design. This calls for a consultation, not an immediate booking.

Frequently asked questions

Can I go straight back to work or a meeting right after the treatment?
Immediately after the treatment, your lips are noticeably darker and slightly swollen — this isn't the final effect, it looks more like overly bold lipstick. It's worth factoring this into your schedule for the first 1–2 days. After that, the swelling settles and the colour starts to calm down. Many clients return to work the next day without issue — it depends on your comfort level and the nature of your work.
Does lip PMU show in photos or under strong lighting?
With a well-chosen, natural pigment and a shaded technique (lip blush), the effect is soft and photographs like your own healthy lip colour. A bold contour is a different aesthetic decision — and always a deliberate choice, not an accident.
Can I get lip PMU after giving birth?
Yes, once you've finished breastfeeding and your body has recovered. Lip PMU is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Booking a consultation once breastfeeding has ended is a sensible plan.
Does lip PMU change colour due to smoking or frequent coffee drinking?
Coffee and meals won't wear away PMU — that's actually one of its advantages. Smoking, on the other hand, speeds up pigment fading and shortens how long the effect lasts. SPF lip balm is the most effective prevention — UV is the main cause of colour lightening.
Can I get lip blush if I already have a subtle hyaluronic acid lip filler?
Yes, but the order and timing matter — the linergist determines these at consultation. Fresh filler needs adequate time to settle before PMU. Usually the simplest approach is to plan lip PMU separately, adding filler later to complement the colour with volume.
