When it's worth it — indications

Sagging facial contour and jawline — when the contour loses its definition.
Lax skin on the neck and décolletage — one of the most rewarding zones for NIR.
Double chin / submental area — gentle firming of the skin in this area.
Loose abdominal skin — after pregnancy or weight loss, when exercise alone isn't enough.
Inner thighs and arms — laxity that doesn't go away on its own.
Buttocks — lifting and contour firming.
Cellulite and "tired", under-toned body skin — improved quality and density.
Anti-ageing prevention — for those who want to actively slow skin laxity.

The areas we work on

sagging contour and a soft jawline — sharper definition;
lax skin on the neck and submental area — firming without surgery;
loose abdominal skin after weight loss;
with no downtime — a meeting or workout the next day is no problem at all.

NIR thermal lifting for men — thicker skin, deeper stimulus

Men's skin is thicker and denser than women's — that's a biological fact, not a compliment. In the context of NIR, this means the deep infrared heat reaches exactly where collagen fibres are produced, and works on a solid material. This is one of the reasons NIR thermal lifting delivers very visible jawline and neck tightening results in men.

The goal is specific: a sharper facial contour, a firmer neck and submental area, a rested look without losing masculine character. No surgery, no downtime, no visible marks. You're back at the gym the next day.

Zero visible marks — because that matters

NIR doesn't disturb the epidermis — no blistering, no scabbing, no redness lasting days. Any slight warmth and mild redness fade within hours, usually the same day. People around you notice that you look good — not that you've "been to the cosmetologist".

This matters especially at the first visit, when the question comes up: "will anyone notice?" No. The treatment is invisible right after — and the effect builds subtly and naturally over the following weeks.

Loose abdominal skin after weight loss

Collagen doesn't come back on its own when you lose weight quickly or significantly. This is a common scenario after intensive training or dieting: the physique is better, but the skin — particularly on the abdomen — doesn't keep up with the change. NIR in this zone stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen, which genuinely improves skin firmness and quality.

In the abdomen and body zones we work with the same Soprano NIR applicator (Alma Lasers) — with settings tailored to thicker skin. It's a versatile tool: one heat source, many zones, different penetration depths.

Frequently asked questions

Will NIR thermal lifting sharpen my jawline without surgery?

Yes — that's one of the main goals of this treatment in men. NIR tightens the dermis and stimulates collagen production, which improves contour and reduces sagging. The effect builds over weeks after the series — it's not dramatic overnight, but it's clear and natural.

How long is the recovery period, and can I go back to training?

There's practically no downtime. It's worth skipping intense exercise and sauna on the day of treatment (warm skin and increased circulation can heighten redness), but training is fully possible the next day. No bandages, no waiting period before going out.

How many sessions do I need, and how often?

The specialist determines the exact number during consultation — it depends on the zone and degree of laxity. Generally: a series of several sessions, then periodic maintenance. The NIR effect isn't one-off — it's an investment in skin quality with a long-term result.

Can I have NIR done with facial hair or a beard?

Facial hair in the treatment zone is something to discuss during consultation — the specialist assesses how to adapt the applicator to the skin and area. NIR thermal lifting works on the dermis, not on hair follicles, so facial hair itself isn't an automatic contraindication.

I work outdoors a lot — how does sun exposure work after the treatment?

After a series of energy-based treatments, SPF 50+ is mandatory — particularly if you spend a lot of time in the sun. Postpone intense sun and sunbeds for a few days after the treatment. If you work outdoors, plan your series for a period with less exposure, or apply protection rigorously.
