Women's facial skin is, on average, thinner and more prone to losing its tone than men's — oestrogen supports its density for years, but collagen synthesis slows after the age of thirty. There's also the specific nature of female fat tissue: facial fat compartments start to drop earlier, and women have a more developed lymphatic network across the neck and décolletage. GMV technology — pulsed electromagnetic fields combined with mechanical vibration — works precisely at this level: it activates fibroblasts throughout the full thickness of the dermis and stimulates lymphatic drainage in networks that, in women, are heavily used throughout the hormonal cycle.

Thuzzle and hormonal fluctuations

The technology itself is safe throughout the cycle; the only firm contraindication is pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have Thuzzle just before an important event?
Yes — it's one of the few facial treatments after which you can go straight to an event that same evening. No redness, no swelling, no flaking. After the treatment, skin looks better, not worse. We recommend only a 3–4 hour break from intense exercise and saunas. You can apply makeup with no restrictions.
Is Thuzzle safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications to Thuzzle — GMV's electromagnetic fields haven't been clinically studied in this context, so we apply the precautionary principle. Return to sessions once breastfeeding has finished — your specialist will advise on the best timing and build a programme suited to your skin's condition at that point.
Can I use retinol and exfoliating acids after Thuzzle?
On the day of the treatment, skip acids and retinol — your specialist applies a soothing, hydrating serum after the session, and that's enough for the first 24 hours. From the next day, you return to your usual routine with no restrictions. Acids and retinol don't clash with GMV's effects — in fact, they reinforce them by improving cell turnover.
Will the results look natural, or will I look "done"?
Thuzzle stimulates your own biological processes — it doesn't introduce any substance and doesn't change your features.
