Cavitation peel (mechanical/ultrasound) for men

Thicker skin, more sebum — and a precise tool to clean it

Men's skin is thicker and produces noticeably more sebum, so it exfoliates more slowly and pores clog faster. Cavitation is a pain-free alternative to blackhead extraction and regular T-zone cleansing. This is cavitation peeling for men.

When it's worth it — indications

  • Dull, grey, tired-looking skin — when a layer of dead cells dampens radiance and creams alone don't help.
  • Clogged pores and blackheads — cavitation loosens sebum and debris in the pore openings; skin looks cleaner and pores appear smaller.
  • Sensitive and vascular skin — one of the few exfoliating treatments we can recommend for reactive skin, since there are no acids to cause the usual stinging.
  • Dehydrated skin that doesn't "respond" to creams — sonophoresis delivers hydrating serum deeper than surface application ever could.
  • Oily skin prone to shine — regular cleansing helps keep pores clear.
  • Preparation for a follow-up treatment — as a first step before HydraFacial, Geneo, a medical peel or mesotherapy.
  • A quick fix before an important event — an immediate smoothing, brightening effect with no redness.

The areas we work on

  1. clogged pores and blackheads on the nose, chin and forehead;
  2. oily, shiny skin and a dull complexion;
  3. for those who don't tolerate manual extraction;
  4. zero downtime — heading straight to a meeting afterwards is no problem.

Thicker skin, more sebum — and a precise tool to clean it

Men's skin produces, on average, 60% more sebum than women's, and exfoliates more slowly — which in practice means pores that clog systematically, a dull or shiny complexion, and uneven texture across the T-zone. A cleanser removes surface debris. Cavitation goes deeper.
An ultrasonic spatula emitting 28 kHz waves creates cavitation — microbubbles that physically loosen sebum and debris sitting in the pore openings, gently exfoliating dead skin with no mechanical abrasion. The treatment takes 20–30 minutes. Afterwards, you can go straight back to the office, a meeting or the gym — with no visible trace of the treatment on your face.

The T-zone and beard area — the specifics of men's skin

The nose, chin and forehead are classic sites of sebum build-up in men, especially where daily shaving stimulates the sebaceous glands further and mildly irritates the skin. Cavitation peeling works precisely in these areas: it clears the pore openings with no added irritation, no acids, no mechanical pressure. Skin is temporarily more reactive after cutting or shaving — ultrasound respects that reactivity instead of aggravating it.
If you have facial hair or a beard, cavitation cleanses the skin beneath the hair — an area home skincare rarely reaches. Pores under a beard clog just as easily as the rest of the face, and washing your face rarely gets deep enough to deal with it properly.

What cavitation does for men in practice

  • Noticeably cleaner pores — a visible reduction in open and closed blackheads on the nose, chin and forehead, even after the first session
  • Matte, even skin tone instead of shiny, uneven skin by the middle of the day
  • Sebum regulation with regular visits — sebaceous glands settle down, and skin shines less between sessions
  • Better serum and skincare absorption afterwards — cleansed skin absorbs active ingredients far more effectively; if you use any cream or serum at home, it starts working better
  • Zero redness and no visible trace — you look exactly the same as before the treatment, just with noticeably cleaner skin

An active lifestyle and treatment timing

Cavitation requires no recovery period — the only limit is intense exercise straight after the treatment (avoid it for the first 4 hours, due to sweating and raised temperature). If you have a morning meeting and a training session in the afternoon, you can comfortably schedule the treatment in between. It's worth putting off shaving until the next day, giving the skin time to settle after cleansing.
The specialist adjusts the frequency and settings of the treatment individually to your skin and your goal — there's no single template for everyone.

Frequently asked questions

Will it be obvious I've had something done to my face?
No — no redness, no visible trace. Your skin simply looks clean and fresh. No one will be able to tell from your face that you've been to a cosmetology salon. You can go straight to a meeting afterwards.
When can I shave after the treatment?
From the next day. Shaving that morning, before the treatment, isn't a problem — but afterwards, we recommend waiting until the following day, so as not to irritate freshly cleansed skin with a razor or blade. Facial hair and beards don't interfere with the treatment — cavitation cleanses the skin between the hairs.
Can I train after the treatment?
Yes, with one exception: for the first 4 hours after the treatment, it's best to avoid intense exercise and heavy sweating — raised temperature and sweat can temporarily irritate freshly cleansed pores. After that, you're free to return to full activity. Plan your session so training happens either in the morning with cavitation in the afternoon, or the other way round, with a few hours' gap.
Is this treatment suitable for a man who's never been to a cosmetology salon before?
A good starting point. The treatment is pain-free — you'll feel a gentle vibration from the spatula, nothing more. Results are visible immediately, with no "transition period". Many men start their skincare journey with cavitation, because it's simple, quick and delivers a tangible result with no risk.
Does cavitation help with skin irritated from shaving and ingrown hairs?
Indirectly, yes. Regular pore cleansing with cavitation reduces the risk of ingrown hairs — a blocked pore opening is a common cause of the problem — and helps keep skin in better condition between shaves. If there's active irritation or active inflammation, we carry out the treatment once it's settled; the specialist assesses your skin at the start of the visit.
