The good news: a lasting style for short or medium hair is easier to maintain than an elaborate updo, and with the right finish, it holds through hours of photos, hugs and dancing.
At J'adore Instytut, event grooming means a clean, precise style suited to your suit and the character of the event — no gel-heavy look, no visible product, no shape that shifts three centimetres after the first hug. Your stylist chooses the setting product for your hair type: a matte finish for dense, thick hair, something lighter for fine, straight hair.

Event grooming differs from everyday styling mainly in how long it lasts and how well it withstands outdoor conditions — heat during an outdoor shoot, wind, humidity. A few principles help preserve the result:
  • Come in with clean, slightly damp or dry hair — not freshly washed and still wet right before your appointment, since that takes longer to dry and is harder to style.
  • If you wear your hair longer (past the ears), a subtle pinned-back or slicked-back style with setting product is possible — discuss this with your stylist beforehand.
  • Event setting holds stronger than everyday styling — the hairstyle won't need touch-ups throughout the day.

How long does event grooming take?
