ZYE-YAG (Nd:YAG) for men

ZYE YAG for him — a laser that works precisely where you actually need it

For men, the main concerns are unwanted hair (back, neck, chest), post-shave redness and broken capillaries, along with darker skin tones that many lasers can't handle. This is zye-yag for men: the Nd:YAG 1064 nm is particularly well-suited here, working safely on phototype IV–VI.
Duration
depending on the area and handpiece — typically a "short in-salon session"
Result
depending on the indication — results build and are maintained through a series
Recovery
usually zero to 1–2 days (mild redness)
Sessions
usually a series of several sessions; the number depends on the indication and handpiece
Performed by
doctor or experienced cosmetologist

When it's worth it — indications

  • Facial broken capillaries — telangiectasia ("spider veins") on the nose and cheeks.
  • Diffuse redness and rosacea — redness that doesn't fade and intensifies with emotion or heat.
  • Leg spider veins — small, superficial capillaries on the thighs and calves.
  • Unwanted hair — all areas; particular advantage on darker skin (phototype IV–VI).
  • Sun-induced hyperpigmentation and spots — uneven skin tone on the face, neck and hands.
  • Laxity and loss of firmness — skin renewal and firming without ablation (LT handpiece).
  • Sun-damaged and ageing skin — improved texture, a "photo peel" without flaking.

The areas we work on

  1. hair removal on the back, neck, shoulders and chest — hard-to-reach areas;
  2. broken capillaries on the nose and cheeks, redness worsened by shaving;
  3. sun spots on the face, neck and hands;
  4. firmness and skin quality with zero downtime (LT handpiece);
  5. the option to combine several concerns in one visit (different handpieces).

ZYE YAG for him — a laser that works precisely where you actually need it

Men's skin is thicker, oilier and produces more sebum than women's — which means some mainstream treatments give weaker results on men. The Nd:YAG 1064nm laser works at the level of the dermis: it reaches deeper capillaries, thicker hair follicles and the layer where collagen is built. The four ZYE YAG handpieces let the specialist address several concerns in one session instead of scheduling separate visits for each area.

Broken capillaries, post-shave redness, sun spots — what men usually don't treat, but could

Red spider veins on the nose and cheeks, diffuse redness worsened by shaving, sun-induced hyperpigmentation after years without sunscreen — these build up over decades and don't fade on their own. The VL handpiece (selective photothermolysis) targets haemoglobin and melanin: it closes visible vessels and reduces sun spots on the face, neck and hands. Treatment intensity is individually selected based on skin thickness and the depth of the changes — men's anatomy requires different parameters than women's.

Laser hair removal — back, neck, chest, beard

The HR handpiece operates at a wavelength of 1064nm, which means deeper penetration and safety for darker skin phototypes — a diode laser can be unreliable on Mediterranean or Asian complexions. For men, areas that are difficult to reach on their own are particularly important: the back, shoulders, nape of the neck, and neckline. The thicker and stiffer hair of male skin absorbs laser energy effectively — a series of 6–8 treatments at appropriate intervals gives long-lasting hair reduction. Reducing unwanted ingrown hairs in the beard and cheek area is a separate benefit for men who shave regularly.

Thermolifting and skin firmness — with zero disruption to daily life

The LT handpiece generates controlled heat in the dermis, stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen without ablating the epidermis and without prolonged healing. Facial skin becomes denser, more resilient, and skin quality and facial contour improve. This is a protocol for men noticing early signs of laxity who want to act preventively — no needles, no visible marks the next day.

The "Men's Reset" protocol — three concerns in one session

ZYE YAG allows several zones to be treated during a single visit: capillaries on the nose and cheeks (VL handpiece), facial skin firmness (LT handpiece) and hair reduction on the nape of the neck (HR handpiece). The whole session takes 45–75 minutes. The parameters are selected according to the current condition of the skin, the phototype and the goal — it is the precision of the protocol that determines the result, not its volume.

Frequently asked questions

Can I train normally after back hair removal?
After a treatment with the HR handpiece (hair removal), we recommend avoiding intense training for 24–48 hours — increased sweating and friction from clothing can irritate the skin around the hair follicles. After that, you can return to full training without restrictions. Sauna and pool — avoid for 48 hours.
Will the result be visible — will anyone notice I've "had something done"?
The lifting effect (LT handpiece) builds gradually over several weeks. Skin becomes firmer and denser — people will notice you look well, not that you've had a treatment. After closing capillaries (VL handpiece), mild redness may be visible for a few days — it fades on its own and doesn't need explaining.
I heal slowly — is that a problem for capillary treatment?
Nd:YAG 1064nm is one of the safer lasers — it acts selectively on the vessel without damaging the surrounding skin. The specialist takes your skin type into account when setting parameters. If you take medication affecting blood clotting, let us know beforehand — this is essential for the right protocol.
Can I shave before and after the treatment?
Before laser hair removal, the area should be shaved with a razor (not waxed) 24–48 hours before the session — the hair needs to be shortened, but the follicle undamaged. After the treatment, in areas treated for hair removal, shaving is possible after 48 hours. In areas treated with the VL or LT handpiece, shaving is possible the next day.
How many treatments do I really need, and how long does it take?
Protocols vary by goal: hair removal usually takes 6–8 sessions every 6–8 weeks; broken capillaries and hyperpigmentation — 2–4 sessions every 4 weeks; thermolifting — 4–6 sessions every 2–3 weeks. A specific plan, including the option to combine indications in one visit, is set individually during consultation.
