What is Plasma IQ?
Plasma IQ is a device that generates ionised plasma — the fourth state of matter. It works through an electrical discharge between the device tip and the skin. The plasma energy sublimates micro-areas of the epidermis without physical contact with the skin. This triggers tightening and firming.
Uses of Plasma IQ around the eyes
Plasma around the eyes suits several different concerns — from excess upper eyelid skin, through fine lines, to certain skin lesions.
Upper eyelid lift — excess skin
Plasma applied to excess skin causes it to contract. The eyelid visually lifts, creating a rejuvenated look. This works well for excess eyelid skin — but not for strong muscular drooping.
Removing lines around the eyes — crow's feet

Healing after the treatment — what happens day by day?
Healing after Plasma IQ around the eyes happens in stages. It's worth being prepared — the first few days can look dramatic. This is a normal skin response.
- Day 1 — carbonization points on the skin, swollen eyelid
- Days 2–3 — peak swelling, which can be significant — this is normal
- Days 4–7 — crusts fall off on their own (never pick or scratch them)
- Weeks 2–3 — pink discolouration at the treated sites — normal
- 4–6 weeks after the treatment — full results, skin looks smooth and firm

Both methods have their place — the choice depends on the severity of the changes, your expectations and the doctor's assessment.
