The first session answers a different question than the tenth
At the beginning, the most important thing is not the number of centimetres, but your body's reaction. The specialist assesses how the tissue responds to the suction and the work of the rollers, whether the skin reddens easily, whether there is excessive pain, and how quickly the feeling of an intense massage subsides. Parameters can then be adjusted to the area and the goal.
After the first visit, it is often easier to notice reduced leg heaviness, tissue softness, or short-term smoothing resulting from drainage. This is not a worthless effect. It is simply a different effect than the gradual improvement in the appearance of skin irregularities. If a salon photographs the body immediately after a session and presents the image as the final result, it is showing the best moment of drainage, not the full story.
The intensive phase is dense because regularity matters more than a single strong session
In the LPG Alliance device canon, an intensive body series usually includes ten to fifteen sessions performed two or three times a week. This schedule is not an encouragement to thoughtlessly buy the largest package. It shows the rhythm of the technology: subsequent stimuli should follow regularly, rather than appearing randomly once every few weeks.
Two visits a week are easier to reconcile with work and recovery. Three shorten the series calendar but require good tissue tolerance and consistency. If every session ends in extensive bruising or pain that hinders movement, the solution is not to grit your teeth for the sake of the schedule. You must discuss the parameters, frequency, and the validity of further work.
A six-week calendar shows when to change parameters and when to observe patiently
- 01
Week one — reaction and baseline
Photos are taken under constant conditions, work areas are established, and suction tolerance is checked. The first drainage effect is not yet the final result.
- 02
Week two — regularity without escalation
The tissues already know the stimulus. Parameters can be adjusted, but a stronger treatment is not a goal in itself. A bruise is not proof of effectiveness.
- 03
Week three — the first honest observation of direction
In J'ADORE data, clearer improvement in cellulite is sometimes visible after at least a few sessions. The same area, light, and body position are assessed.
- 04
Weeks four and five — working on the goal, not the whole body at once
If one area responds more weakly, the specialist verifies the technique and expectations instead of endlessly increasing the intensity.
- 05
End of the intensive phase — photos and decision
Comparison takes place after the series, at a similar time of day, and without inflating the result through dehydration. Then, maintenance is established or the process is concluded.
This is a model, not a prescription. With three sessions a week, the series will end faster; with two, it will take longer. A holiday, infection, increased pain, or a new contraindication may change the plan. Continuity sufficient for observation counts, not perfectly ticking off a calendar despite the body's signals.
Measurement after every session more often measures water than remodelling
The circumference of the thigh or abdomen changes during the day due to hydration, meals, the menstrual cycle, exercise, and salt intake. Endermology additionally triggers a drainage component. A measurement immediately after the treatment may therefore show a difference that is true at that moment, but it does not describe a permanent change in the silhouette.
A better comparison protocol is boring: the same time of day, similar hydration, identical tape placement points, the same posture, and photos from the same distance. Do not pull in your stomach and do not change your hip position. If the effect only exists after setting the light from the side, it is not reliable proof of texture improvement.
- After the first session: note your well-being and skin reaction.
- In the middle of the series: assess the direction using photos, not a single centimetre.
- After the intensive phase: repeat measurements under the initial conditions.
- After a break: check what has been maintained without the fresh drainage effect.
The goal of the series determines the right moment for assessment
One series should not promise lighter legs, completely smooth thighs, smaller circumference, fat tissue reduction, and firm skin in equal measure. These goals have different mechanisms and different dynamics. If you do not choose a priority, after a few weeks there will always be a parameter that "can still be improved," and the package will be extended without a clear criterion for the end.
Dominant swelling and leg heaviness
observation of a quick response
- record the time of day when swelling increases
- assess comfort and clothing marks, not just circumference
- check how long the relief lasts after a session
- refer sudden or one-sided swelling for medical assessment
Cellulite and uneven texture
comparison after a few sessions
- take photos in the same light and setting
- do not assess skin after fresh drainage
- pay attention to the appearance at rest and when tensed
- in the absence of direction, verify the plan in the middle of the series
Skin firmness after weight change
a slower and more limited goal
- distinguish skin laxity from excess fat tissue
- do not expect a surgical effect from mechanical massage
- maintain stable body weight during comparison
- Assess whether a different technology might better address your primary concern.
You can change your priority, but not without discussion. If you start with swelling, but abdominal skin firmness becomes the main focus halfway through the series, we need a new conversation about the method and success criteria. Otherwise, the final photos will be judged against a goal that was never set at the beginning.
Maintenance is not mandatory, but a lack of maintenance has predictable consequences.
After an intensive series, the LPG Alliance protocol usually suggests a top-up session every few weeks. Its purpose is to maintain regular tissue stimulation, not to restart the entire treatment. We determine the frequency based on the series results: someone with dominant fluid retention may see different dynamics than someone focused on skin unevenness.
You can finish your visits after the series. You must simply acknowledge the consequences: the drainage effect does not last forever, and tissue appearance still depends on movement, body mass, fluid balance and natural skin changes. Maintenance does not guarantee a permanent result; lack of maintenance does not cause sudden "deterioration due to the treatment." The body simply stops receiving regular stimulation.

After a year without visits, your lifestyle remains, but the fresh drainage effect disappears.
A year is long enough for the result to stop being the story of the device alone. During this time, your activity, body mass, diet, hormones, skin firmness and tendency towards swelling change. You cannot attribute the appearance of your thighs after twelve months solely to a series performed the previous spring.
Without maintenance, the temporary feeling of lightness and reduction in retention will have long since faded. Some habit improvements may remain, however: regular movement, hydration, less time spent sitting and stable body mass support tissue appearance regardless of the treatment. If you experienced a large change in body mass or a long period without activity during that year, a comparison with the end of the series will mainly reflect those events.
Endermology does not cause weight loss and does not remove cellulite permanently.
The most important limitation is simple: LPG cannot replace an energy deficit, training or swelling diagnostics. It can work on skin appearance, drainage and the feeling of heaviness, but it is not a method for permanent weight loss. For someone expecting significant body mass reduction, a series may not be worthwhile because it addresses a different task.
It also does not remove the biological tendency towards cellulite. Unevenness results from subcutaneous tissue structure, skin quality, fat distribution, hormones and lifestyle. Mechanical stimulation can improve their appearance, but the promise of "smooth skin once and for all" has no basis in how this technology works.
An interrupted series is not always lost, but it requires a new reference point.
A week's break due to a trip does not automatically invalidate the entire process. A longer gap, however, may mean you return without the continuity of the intensive phase and with a different tissue state. You should not mechanically "make up" two treatments day after day or increase the vacuum to catch up with the calendar.
After a break, the specialist should re-evaluate your skin reaction, swelling and goal. Sometimes continuing is enough; sometimes it is better to treat the visit as a new starting point. The decision depends on the length of the break and the reason, not on guilt over an unused package.
- Report your planned holiday before purchasing a series.
- Do not schedule the intensive phase during weeks full of business trips.
- After an illness, return only after the contraindication has subsided.
- Do not make up for missed frequency at the expense of tissue tolerance.
Endermology LPG in Krakow — where to set a realistic calendar
The J'ADORE INSTYTUT in Krakow is located at ul. Karmelickiej 45/2B, 31-128 Krakow and is open from Monday to Saturday, 8:00–20:00. Such a wide range makes a series easier, but it does not solve everything: before purchasing a package, check if you can actually maintain the set frequency over the coming weeks.
You can find the treatment description, location and current booking options on the endermology LPG in Krakow page. Bring your travel calendar to the consultation and name one main goal: cellulite, skin firmness, swelling or leg comfort. Mixing all goals makes later evaluation difficult.
