Three devices, three different goals
The simplest way to remember it: cryolipolysis destroys fat cells, CMS Sculpt builds and tones muscle, Emtone improves skin structure and reduces cellulite. Each one reaches a different layer — which is why they so often complement each other, rather than compete.
Cryolipolysis
reduces fat tissue
- localised fat deposits resistant to diet and exercise
- abdomen, flanks, thighs, back, arms, double chin
- permanent destruction of fat cells with cold
- results visible for many people within a few weeks
CMS Sculpt
sculpts and strengthens muscle
- lack of muscle tone, a "soft" abdomen despite regular exercise
- buttocks, abdomen, thighs, arms
- intense muscle contractions unattainable through regular training
- may support fat reduction in the treated area
Emtone
smooths cellulite and firms the skin
- cellulite (orange-peel skin) at any stage
- lax skin after weight loss or pregnancy
- thighs, buttocks, abdomen, arms
- combines shockwave energy with radiofrequency — works synergistically
How to identify your real problem
Before your consultation, it helps to pinpoint what bothers you most. Three questions that help set the direction:
- Do you see a visible fold of fat that doesn't respond to exercise or diet — one you can pinch between your fingers, soft to the touch? → This may point to cryolipolysis.
- Is the muscle there, but hidden under a layer of fat, or simply "soft"? No definition, buttocks that sag despite regular activity? → Consider CMS Sculpt.
- Is the skin uneven, with visible "orange-peel" texture, and has it become lax after weight loss or pregnancy? → Emtone is the direction to take.
One important note: these three problems rarely appear in isolation. The abdomen can have fat deposits, weak muscles and lax skin all at once — in that case, a sequence of treatments makes more sense than searching for one "cure-all".
Cryolipolysis — when it's the right choice
Cryolipolysis works on the principle of a selective response of fat cells to low temperature. Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the tissues around them. The treatment can destroy them selectively, while skin and muscle remain unaffected. The body then gradually eliminates the destroyed cells.
Worth remembering: cryolipolysis isn't a weight-loss treatment. It works best on people already close to their target shape — as a finishing touch, not a starting point. For people with significant excess weight, a specialist may suggest a different approach, or focus first on overall weight reduction.
CMS Sculpt — when muscle is what matters
CMS Sculpt works from the inside — it triggers intense muscle contractions that no amount of training can achieve. This isn't a "massage". It's neuromuscular stimulation that forces the muscle to work at a level unreachable through strength training or cardio.
- The treatment is pain-free — you feel intense contractions, but no pain
- Can be performed on the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, arms and calves
- Results often require a series of sessions — the effect builds up gradually
- Can be combined with cryolipolysis in the same area, to work on fat and muscle at the same time
Emtone — cellulite and skin after a transformation
Emtone combines two technologies — shockwave and radiofrequency — to address several causes of cellulite at once: impaired microcirculation, weakened collagen fibres and skin firmness. This synergy is what allows Emtone to achieve results that are hard to reach with a single method alone.
Emtone is pain-free — during the treatment you feel warmth and vibration, but no discomfort. Sessions are performed as a series, with results building up with each one. For many people, a visible improvement in skin structure appears already during the course.
When to combine all three — and in what order
Body contouring is rarely a single-layer problem. A typical scenario — an abdomen with fat, weak muscles and post-pregnancy skin — needs a different approach than localised fat deposits on the hips alone. The logic behind combining treatments always follows what's happening at each level:
Cryolipolysis + CMS Sculpt
A classic combination for the abdomen: fat reduction with cold first, then muscle strengthening and sculpting. Both methods can work in the same area — usually spaced apart at intervals a specialist determines.
Cryolipolysis + Emtone
When fat deposits and cellulite go hand in hand (typical for thighs and buttocks). Cryolipolysis reduces fat cells, Emtone smooths skin structure and improves microcirculation.
CMS Sculpt + Emtone
For buttocks and thighs, where cellulite and a lack of muscle tone occur together. Emtone works on the skin, CMS Sculpt builds definition from within.
All three in one plan
For comprehensive body work after pregnancy, after weight loss, or with advanced cellulite — a staged plan gives the best chance of a visible change at every level.
- 01
Consultation & assessment
The specialist assesses fat distribution, muscle condition and skin. Only then is the method or sequence decided — not before.
- 02
The core treatment
You usually start with the method that addresses the dominant problem — for example, cryolipolysis for visible fat deposits, or Emtone for advanced cellulite.
- 03
Series & results
Most methods require a series of sessions. For many people, results build up gradually — patience and consistency matter a great deal here.
- 04
Completing the plan
After the first course, the specialist assesses the results and may suggest adding another method — for example, CMS Sculpt after fat reduction with cryolipolysis.
A good body-contouring plan isn't a single treatment. It's a sequence tailored to your goal and to how your body responds. That's why the best results go to people who start with a consultation — and leave it with a plan, not just the name of a device.
