What does the LVL lash lift involve?
The treatment has 3 chemical stages:
- Lift — a silicone shield is placed against the eyelid. Lashes are wound at the root and set with a lifting solution.
- Setting — a setting solution "locks in" the shape — lashes stay lifted
- Nourishing — a keratin treatment strengthens lashes after the chemical process
Optional: Tinting — included in most protocols; lashes look darker and more visible.

Ideal for
✅ Straight or downward-pointing lashes — the lift "opens up" the eye ✅ Light (blonde) lashes + tinting — a 24/7 mascara-like effect ✅ Active women — sport, swimming, no time for makeup ✅ Women with sensitive eyes (no adhesive chemicals as with extensions) ✅ Natural care with no artificial elements ✅ Holidays and travel — lashes look great even after swimming
When LVL won't work or isn't suitable
❌ Very short lashes (< 6–7 mm) — too short to wind onto the shield ❌ Weakened, brittle lashes (e.g. after aggressive makeup) — strengthen first ❌ Active eye or eyelid herpes ❌ Allergic conjunctivitis in the acute phase ❌ Eye conditions — consult an ophthalmologist before the treatment ❌ 24h before or after — eye makeup, contact lenses, rubbing with oily cream
What does a session look like?
Duration: 45–60 minutes
- Lashes cleansed of makeup and oil
- Choice of silicone shield (size S/M/L depending on lash length)
- Lashes placed onto the shield — precise attachment
- Lifting solution applied → 8–12 minutes
- Setting solution applied → 8–12 minutes
- Keratin treatment → 5 minutes
- Optional: tinting → 10 minutes
- Shield removed, lashes cleansed
Aftercare
- 24 hours: No water, no rubbing, avoid steam (sauna, steam shower)
- 48 hours: No contact lenses, no oily creams near the eyes
- Ongoing: Daily nourishing treatment (optional) — extends the result
How long does the lift last?
6–8 weeks — after this time, lashes "grow out" naturally (the lash growth cycle is 6–8 weeks). They don't "fall off" — they simply grow back in a new direction naturally.
Optimal results: the first 4 weeks. After that, lashes gradually return to their natural angle.
Lift + tinting — is it worth it?
Definitely, yes for light-coloured lashes. Tinting done during the same session means:
- Darker lashes are more visible
- The "no-mascara" effect looks natural, not artificial
- 1 session instead of 2
