Why do arms "sag"?
Several overlapping mechanisms lie behind lax skin on the arms. It's worth knowing all of them to act effectively.
- Loss of skin elasticity — reduced collagen and elastin production with age
- Loss of muscle mass — muscle mass peaks between ages 25–35; a gradual decline follows after 40
- Gravity — triceps skin is thin and lacks muscular "support"
- Weight fluctuations — rapid weight loss means the skin can't keep up with the change, so it folds
- Genetics — for many women, the arms and thighs are natural fat "storage" areas
- Inactive triceps muscle — without exercise, the muscle atrophies and the skin "hangs"
Cellulite on the arms versus laxity — the difference
Both problems often occur together. They call for a combined approach that stimulates collagen and improves tissue structure at the same time.
Treatments at J'ADORE
At J'ADORE INSTYTUT, we use several proven methods to work on the arms. We select them individually, depending on whether the main issue is cellulite, laxity, hair, or a combination of these factors.
LPG Alliance — endermology for the arms
LPG works particularly well for cellulite on the arms. The deep mechanical massage breaks down cellulite septa, activates lymphatic drainage and stimulates collagen production. The suit covers the arms, so we can work on the triceps and side areas.
Results: many clients see a visible reduction in cellulite and improved skin firmness around the arms and triceps after a series.
Emtone BTL — RF and acoustic waves together
Emtone delivers RF energy (heat) and acoustic waves at the same time. On the arms, it works on two fronts: RF stimulates collagen and elastin for a firming effect, while the acoustic waves break down cellulite septa.
A series of several sessions often brings a visible improvement in skin appearance and a reduction in cellulite on the arms.
Accent Reform RF — thermolifting for the arms
Radiofrequency in Accent Reform stimulates collagen production and contracts existing collagen fibres — the result is a "tightening" of lax arm skin. It's particularly recommended for laxity following weight loss or pregnancy.
Carboxytherapy — cellulite and localised fat
Injecting carbon dioxide locally dilates blood vessels, improves tissue oxygenation and speeds up fat burning in the injection area. On the arms, it can improve circulation, reduce cellulite and decrease fatty tissue.
Laser hair removal for the arms — a complete effect
Cellulite, laxity and hair on the arms are three issues you can address in parallel. Laser hair removal using SHR technology (Soprano ICE) eliminates hair without ingrown hairs. The arms become smooth and ready for further firming treatments.
Complementary exercise — an essential element
Aesthetic treatments without exercise give shorter-lasting results. You can strengthen the triceps without a gym or equipment — here are a few proven moves:
- Tricep dips on a chair — no equipment, a strong triceps workout
- Skull crushers with dumbbells — direct work on the back of the arm
- Tricep pushdowns with a resistance band
- Close-grip push-ups — narrow-grip press-ups
A comprehensive approach — a 3-month plan
The best results come from combining different methods in a planned sequence:
- Weeks 1–6: LPG twice a week, alternating with Emtone, plus triceps exercises twice a week
- Weeks 7–12: LPG once a week (maintenance) plus regular exercise
- After 12 weeks: many women see a clear reduction in cellulite, along with better texture and firmness in the skin on the arms
Realistic expectations
Aesthetic treatments can significantly improve skin condition, reduce cellulite and boost collagen — but they have their limits.
It's worth discussing your expectations with a J'ADORE consultant before starting the programme. A consultation helps match the right methods to your specific situation.
