BODY CONTOURING & SLIMMING

Muscle and fat reduction
“without moving”

A flat, firm abdomen, lifted buttocks, defined arms — sometimes, despite training and diet, certain areas simply won't "engage". CMS Sculpt is electromagnetic muscle stimulation using HIFEM technology (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic). An intense electromagnetic field triggers muscle contractions so strong you couldn't replicate them through conscious effort.

The muscle works at maximum while you lie comfortably on the couch — hence the informal name "effortless sit-ups". This is not a substitute for the gym or a diet — it reinforces and accelerates them. The treatment builds muscle tone and supports local fat reduction exactly where you want to see results. At J'adore Instytut, the treatment is performed by an experienced cosmetologist. How it works

How it works

CMS Sculpt uses HIFEM technology — a focused, high-intensity electromagnetic field. The field bypasses the skin, so it doesn't irritate it, and instead reaches straight into the muscle, forcing it to contract. This isn't ordinary muscle tension: these are supramaximal contractions — stronger than anything you could trigger through conscious effort.

During exercise, you engage only a portion of the muscle fibres in any given movement. HIFEM activates virtually all fibres at once — and repeats this thousands of times in a single session. The muscle responds as it would to a very intense workout: its tone, strength and volume increase. Along the way, this intense muscle activity supports the release of fatty acids from the fat cells lying above it — hence the dual effect: muscle building plus local fat reduction.

An important and honest point: this is support for your figure, not a miracle diet. The treatment contours and tones the area you're targeting — but your lifestyle works alongside it to deliver the result.

A sculptural study of a body area in alabaster and frosted glass, cut to reveal three levels: a smooth porcelain surface, a translucent honey-coloured layer, and deepest of all a still form standing for the muscle. The electromagnetic field passes through the skin without irritating it and forces the muscle to contract. The specialist matches the intensity to the body area and its condition.

  2. Subcutaneous tissuethe layer between the skin and the muscle
  3. Skeletal musclethe aim of the treatment — this is what contracts

Ideal for

Ideal for

  1. Abdomenflattening, tightening the abdominal wall, defining the "six-pack".
  2. Buttockslifting and contouring the shape without implants or fat transfer.
  3. Thighsfirming and defining the muscle lines.
  4. Armsbiceps and triceps, addressing the "bat wings" effect.
  5. Calvesstrengthening and contouring.
  6. Active peoplewho already train well but want to finish off a specific, stubborn area.
  7. Post-partumsupporting weakened abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles (following consultation and where there are no contraindications).
  8. Sports recoveryintense muscle activity and increased blood flow support the muscle between workouts.

Women's zone and men's zone

What differs

For her

Why women choose CMS Sculpt

For women, the most common goal is a feminine "hourglass" figure: lifted, contoured buttocks and a flat, toned abdomen. The subject of the post-pregnancy abdomen — stretched skin and weakened muscles — comes up very often. This is classic CMS Sculpt for women.

The areas we support

  1. buttocks — a "Brazilian butt" effect without surgery;
  2. post-pregnancy abdomen — tightening stretched abdominal skin;
  3. support for the pelvic floor muscles (comfort after childbirth);
  4. firming thighs and arms ahead of summer.
For him

Why men choose CMS Sculpt

In men, the muscles are stronger and more reactive, and the goal is usually more "athletic": a defined abdomen, reduced love handles, strong arms. This is CMS Sculpt for men — often chosen by men who train regularly and want to finish off a stubborn area.

The areas we support

  1. abdomen and "six-pack" — defining the rectus muscles;
  2. love handles — reducing the resistance above the muscle;
  3. arms — biceps, triceps, chest as support for the physique;
  4. recovery and strengthening after strength training.

Did you know: one session is equivalent to thousands of contractions you couldn't consciously repeat — it's like doing an extremely intense workout for a specific area while lying still. That's why the day after treatment, the muscle can feel sore, just like after a proper gym session.

Honestly about the result

What this treatment does and doesn't do

CMS Sculpt builds and tones muscle and supports local fat reduction above it. It works best for people who are reasonably lean or active and want to contour a specific area — it's not a method for significant, whole-body weight loss.

What it won't do: it won't make you lose weight "overall", it won't remove a thick layer of fat, and it doesn't replace diet or exercise. If there's a lot of fat tissue over the muscle, the toned muscle alone won't be visible — in that case, we combine the treatment with a fat-reducing method.

Warning sign: "−10 cm in one treatment" and suspiciously cheap packages

No honest electrostimulation "melts" centimetres in a single visit — the HIFEM effect builds over a series and over weeks. Promises of dramatic circumference loss after the first visit, or an unusually cheap "bargain package", are a warning sign. You have every right to ask about the protocol, the number of sessions in the series, and the contraindications. A good salon will start with a consultation, not with selling you a package.

BODY CONTOURING & SLIMMING

What to expect during your visit

  1. Consultation with a cosmetologistthe cosmetologist assesses the area, your expectations and lifestyle, and rules out contraindications (including metal implants nearby, a pacemaker, pregnancy).
  2. Positioning the applicatorwe secure the applicator with a strap over the chosen area (abdomen, buttocks, thighs, arms or calves). You lie comfortably; there's nothing for you to do.
  3. The contraction sessionyou feel building, intense contractions interspersed with "release" phases (clearing lactic acid). We adjust intensity gradually to your comfort.
  4. No downtimeafter the treatment, you go back to your day with no bandages and no visible marks. You may feel muscle soreness.
  5. Series planningwe set a rhythm of 2–3 treatments a week, for a total of 4–6 sessions.

Contraindications

When to postpone the treatment

Some contraindications are permanent, others are temporary — in that case, we simply postpone the treatment until the situation resolves. Because HIFEM is an electromagnetic field, we pay particular attention to metal and electronics in the body.

We don't perform it
  • Pacemaker, defibrillator and other implanted electronic devices
  • Metal implants, screws, plates, prosthesesin the treatment area (the electromagnetic field reacts with metal).
  • Pregnancy
  • Active cancer
  • Fever, general infection, inflammationin the treatment area — we wait until you've recovered.
  • Herniain the treatment area (e.g. abdominal).
  • Intrauterine device with a metal componentrequires assessment for abdomen / pelvic floor treatments.
  • Clotting disorders, epilepsy, severe heart or liver conditionsrequire an individual assessment.

From the cosmetologist's chair

The most commonly overlooked issue is metal in the body. Clients forget to mention a screw from an old injury, or a prosthesis — but with an electromagnetic field, this is crucial information. Always ask yourself, and mention everything, even if "it was years ago".

This isn't a complete list — we'll go through your medical conditions, implanted devices, past surgeries and any metal elements in your body individually during consultation.

What to expect

No surprises

Most importantly: you won't see the result after the first session. The muscle remodels over weeks — the initial sense of "tone" can appear quickly, but a real, visible result builds over the full series. The full result is assessed a few weeks after the last treatment.

  1. Faza 1.after session 1a feeling of tension and soreness; no visible change in shape yet
  2. Faza 2.during the seriesthe muscle strengthens; the area gradually becomes firmer
  3. Faza 3.2–4 weeks after the seriesvisible contouring effect — muscle tone and definition
  4. Faza 4.maintenancethe effect lasts with activity and diet; it's worth repeating maintenance sessions
The most common disappointment comes from expectations: someone comes once and asks a week later "why can't I see a six-pack?" It's like going to the gym once and expecting an athlete's physique. HIFEM is training for the muscle — it needs a series and time, and it works best alongside movement and hydration.
From the cosmetologist's chair

What's normal after the treatment

  • muscle soreness in the treated area for 1–2 days — like after an intense workout;
  • a feeling of tension and "pumped" muscle right after the session;
  • slight skin redness from the applicator strap — fades quickly.

CMS Sculpt and your lifestyle

What you can and can't do, and when

The good news: this treatment fits into an active lifestyle rather than getting in its way. Still, a few things are worth organising around your sessions — mainly so the muscle has something to work with and something to recover with.

  1. Training and the gym

    absolutely fine

    CMS Sculpt combines very well with training — the two reinforce each other. After a session, give the muscle a day to recover, just as you would after an intense workout for that area.

  2. Water and hydration

    drink before and after

    Good hydration helps clear the by-products of intense muscle activity and supports recovery. A glass of water before and after the session is the minimum.

  3. Diet and protein

    a building block for muscle

    A muscle that's working hard needs building blocks. A sensible diet with adequate protein genuinely improves the contouring result.

  4. Sauna and swimming pool

    no restrictions

    The treatment doesn't break the skin, so a sauna, swimming pool or hot bath after the session isn't a problem. Listen to your comfort with the sore muscles.

  5. Sun and summer

    as usual

    HIFEM doesn't make the skin sun-sensitive. In summer, apply SPF 50+ to exposed areas as part of general skincare — not because of the treatment.

  6. Alcohol

    in moderation

    Alcohol isn't "forbidden", but it dehydrates and doesn't support muscle recovery. It's best to skip it on the day of your session — you'll see the result sooner.

Frequently asked questions

  1. QuestionWill CMS Sculpt replace the gym and my diet?
    AnswerNo — and that's the right way to approach it. The treatment strengthens and tones the muscle and supports local fat reduction, but it works best alongside movement, hydration and a sensible diet. It reinforces and accelerates your results, rather than replacing activity.
  2. QuestionAfter how many treatments will I see results?
    AnswerWe recommend a series of 4–6 treatments, 2–3 times a week. The initial feeling of tone can appear quickly, but the visible contouring effect is assessed a few weeks after the last session, once the muscle has remodelled.
  3. QuestionDoes it hurt?
    AnswerWe don't puncture the skin, and nothing is cut. You feel strong but controlled muscle contractions — we adjust the intensity gradually to your comfort. After the treatment, the muscle can feel sore, as after a workout, usually for 1–2 days.
  4. QuestionWill I lose weight with CMS Sculpt?
    AnswerThis isn't a method for general weight loss. The treatment contours a specific area — it builds muscle and supports fat reduction above it. With more fat tissue, we combine it with a fat-reducing method, such as cryolipolysis.
