Why pores are a different problem in men

Men's skin differs structurally from women's — and this has real consequences. It's thicker and more sebaceous, producing more sebum, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin). How to maintain results — skincare that actually works

The in-salon treatment does the heavy lifting, but results last longer if you use a few things daily. This isn't about an 8-step routine. It's about 3 products that address the specific problem:

• A facial cleansing gel — not body soap. Ordinary soap changes your skin's pH, which paradoxically triggers the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum. A facial gel formulated for combination or oily skin works differently.
• A toner or serum with acids (AHA/BHA). Salicylic acid is particularly effective at regulating sebum and "opening" pores — a few times a week is enough. Not daily, to avoid over-drying.
• SPF cream in the morning — always. UV radiation enlarges pores and speeds up collagen breakdown. Sunscreen is the one thing that makes a real difference in the long term.

Two common concerns — and honest answers

Most men have two questions before they even book a visit. It's best to answer them directly.

"Does it hurt?" — Nanopore is a non-invasive treatment. There are no needles, no incisions.
