Behind what you feel on your skin after the treatment lies specific chemistry and physiology. Different peels work at different depths, through different mechanisms and with different results. Some are limited to exfoliation alone, while others trigger processes much deeper within the skin.

Exfoliation without damage — how a peel can firm
