How it works

Thuzzle uses GMV technology. It combines pulsed electromagnetic fields with precisely calibrated mechanical vibrations and gentle RF heat. These stimuli work together: the electromagnetic fields and heat reach deeper than a classic massage, while the vibrations help deliver them and activate cells. The goal isn't to "repair from the outside" — it's to wake up the skin's own mechanisms.

Several things happen at tissue level at once. Fibroblasts start producing new collagen and elastin — this is neocollagenesis, responsible for the lifting effect. Microcirculation and oxygenation improve. Activated lymphatic drainage removes excess fluid and "fatigue toxins". This gives two types of result: one fast (less swelling, better skin tone) and one that builds over time (firmer, denser, more elastic skin).

The key difference from light-based lasers and ablative treatments: Thuzzle doesn't disrupt the epidermis and doesn't use light. There's no wound, no scabbing and no "peeling skin". That's why we call it a zero-downtime treatment, safe for different skin types and suitable year-round.

Thuzzle is a comfortable, non-invasive treatment, but "non-invasive" doesn't mean "suitable for everyone without checking". A few things determine safety and results, and they're worth asking about at any salon:

Devices using electromagnetic fields require careful qualification.

    There's no single "Thuzzle setting". A specialist chooses the mode (lifting / drainage / body), intensity and applicator technique to suit your needs — which is exactly why consultation is required.

  3. A realistic plan for the series

    Lasting lifting comes from neocollagenesis, which builds over weeks. A trustworthy salon will tell you upfront that we work with a series and maintenance sessions — not promise "one miracle visit".

Red flag: "instant, permanent lifting after one treatment" · If someone promises a lasting effect after a single session, or doesn't ask about electronic implants, neurological conditions and pregnancy before switching on the device, that's a warning sign. You're entitled to ask what technology is being used, how many sessions the plan involves, and who performs the treatment. A good salon will answer without hesitation.

Contraindications

When to postpone the treatment

Thuzzle uses electromagnetic fields and RF heat, so some contraindications relate specifically to this technology (not laser light). Some are permanent, some are temporary — in which case we simply postpone the treatment.

  • Pacemakers and other electronic implants — an absolute contraindication with electromagnetic fields.
  • Metal implants in the treatment area — require assessment by a specialist and often mean excluding that area.
  • Epilepsy and neurological conditions — electromagnetic fields may be contraindicated.
  • Cancer — active or in your medical history.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Active inflammation, infections or lesions in the treatment area — we wait until it has healed.
  • Fever and general infection — we postpone until you've recovered.
  • Recent ablative treatments / deep laser treatment nearby — we keep a gap agreed with a specialist.

Some people say after their first visit, "great, but I expected more lifting". That's completely normal — after one session, you mainly see drainage and radiance. What you can and can't do

Good news: Thuzzle barely restricts anything. Since there's no wound and no disruption to the epidermis, you return to daily activities straight away. A few simple rules for the first hours after stimulation and drainage help you get the most out of the treatment.

  1. Gym and exercise

    Skip intense exercise for the first 3–4 hours after the treatment — tissues are actively responding to stimulation and clearing lymph. After that, there are no restrictions.

  2. Sauna and hot baths

    Your skin was warmed during the treatment — leave the sauna and hot baths for the next day, so as not to increase pinkness.

  3. Sun and tanning

    avoid on the day

    Skip direct sun on the first day. This is NOT a light-based laser, so there's no "forbidden season" — but daily SPF is still worthwhile.

  4. Skincare and hydration

    Hydrate your skin and support the barrier. Gentle skincare after the treatment is actually recommended — tissues are primed for regeneration.
