A treatment room at J'adoreLASER THERAPY / HIGH-TECH / REMOVAL
Skin that gradually loses firmness, fine lines around the eyes and mouth, a grey, tired tone, the first sun-induced hyperpigmentation — these are classic signs of ageing and photoageing. You don't always want needles straight away, or a treatment that leaves you flaking for days. ClearLift is a laser lift with zero downtime: the Q-switched Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm) works deep in the dermis and stimulates it to produce its own collagen, without touching the epidermis.
That's why it's known as the "lunchtime facelift" — you leave the salon with virtually no visible signs and get straight back to your day. At J'adore Instytut, the treatment is performed by a doctor or experienced cosmetologist using the Harmony XL Pro laser platform. Below you'll find everything worth knowing before your first visit.
a series of sessions at intervals, plus maintenance
How it works
ClearLift uses a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser at a wavelength of 1064 nm. In simple terms: very short, powerful pulses of light pass through the epidermis and release their energy only deep in the dermis — exactly where collagen is produced. They work through what's known as the photomechanical effect: gently "waking up" fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing new collagen and elastin.
The key point: the epidermis stays untouched. There's no ablation (no vaporising of the skin's surface), no flaking, no days of redness. That's the source of its reputation as the "lunchtime facelift" — a laser treatment after which you go straight back to work. The effect doesn't appear instantly, though: new collagen forms gradually over the following weeks.

Good to know: the same type of Nd:YAG laser that gently stimulates collagen production here can, at different settings and for different purposes, break down pigment (hyperpigmentation, tattoos) or close broken capillaries. The key lies in how it's set and what it's used for.
Ideal for
What ClearLift does very well: it improves skin quality, firmness and tone. What it won't do: it won't fill a deep static wrinkle, and it won't replace surgical lifting or filler where volume is missing. This is a treatment for skin quality, not volume.
Female and male zones
The most common goal is refreshed skin, a healthy glow and a gentle lift, with no visible signs on the surface. Women's skin can be thinner and more delicate, so parameters are set more gently, and the treatment fits easily into a busy schedule. This is classic ClearLift for women — a laser treatment you can have even right before an important event.
The areas we support
Men's skin is thicker and firmer, so parameters are usually set higher to achieve a comparable stimulus. The goal: a rested, less tired look without changing your features — this is ClearLift for men, valued for its complete discretion (no visible signs, straight back to your next meeting).
The areas we support
Good to know: unlike many lasers, ClearLift is safe for all skin phototypes — including darker skin tones. That's because it works deep within the skin, not at the level of the epidermis, where melanin sits.
Safety
With laser treatments, results and safety depend on a few factors worth asking about at any salon:
At J'adore, the treatment is carried out by a doctor or experienced cosmetologist on the certified Harmony XL Pro platform (Alma Lasers). The specialist assesses your skin, selects the parameters and manages the series.
There's no single "ClearLift setting". Energy, number of passes and choice of zones are matched to your skin phototype, skin thickness and goal (lifting, tone, texture) — which is why a consultation before the series matters.
Certified laser goggles are required at every wavelength — for you and for the person performing the treatment. That's standard practice, not an option.
Fresh tan, certain medications, a tattoo in the treatment area or an active infection are all reasons to stop or postpone — we check for these before starting.
Warning sign: a laser "for everyone, on demand, no questions asked" · A good salon always runs a proper consultation and qualification process — asking about tanning, medications, pregnancy, tattoos and infections. If someone offers laser treatment with no questions at all, "because it's safe anyway", that's a warning sign. You have the right to know what equipment you're being treated with and who is assessing your eligibility.
Contraindications
Some contraindications are permanent, and some are temporary — in which case we simply postpone the treatment until the situation resolves. A specialist always carries out full qualification.
From the cosmetologist's chair
The thing people most often forget about laser treatments is the sun. A client will say "I was on holiday for a week, but I only got a little tan" — and that's enough to postpone treatment. A fresh tan and laser treatment don't mix. Another point: if you have a tattoo or permanent makeup in the area, be sure to mention it — we treat that zone separately.
This isn't a complete list — we'll discuss your medications, skin conditions and previous treatments individually at your consultation, and refer you for a medical consultation if there's any doubt.

The visit

Consultation and qualification
the specialist assesses your skin condition, phototype and expectations, and rules out contraindications (tan, medications, pregnancy, tattoo in the area, infections).

Skin cleansing
thorough removal of makeup and sebum; the laser needs a clean surface to work effectively.

Eye protection and parameter selection
certified laser goggles, plus energy and number of passes set for your skin and treatment goal.

Laser treatment
successive passes over the chosen areas (e.g. face, eye area, neck, décolletage). You'll feel mild warmth and slight tingling; usually no anaesthesia is needed, with cooling applied.

Soothing and protection
cooling the skin, applying a regenerating product and SPF 50+. You go back to your day almost immediately — that's the essence of the "lunchtime laser".
What to expect
Most importantly: you won't see the full effect on the same day. Right after treatment, skin looks refreshed and often has a nice "glow", but real improvement in firmness and texture comes from new collagen, and that takes weeks to build. That's why ClearLift works best as a series.
I often hear after the first session: "lovely glow, but I thought there'd be a lift straight away." That's completely normal — ClearLift builds its effect over time, because skin needs to produce new collagen itself. The first session is a starting point, not the finish line. That's why we plan a series and maintenance, rather than a single miracle session.
Portfolio

A record of results — in preparation. We publish photographs of our clients only with their consent.
The effect doesn't disappear suddenly — this isn't filler that "wears off". Skin quality improves gradually, and it needs refreshing just as gradually; with regular maintenance, you keep the results for longer.
ClearLift and your lifestyle
The biggest advantage of ClearLift is having no real downtime — but a few simple rules will help you get the most from it and protect your freshly "warmed" skin.
This is the most important point: SPF 50+ is essential for several weeks after treatment. Your skin is working on new collagen and is more sensitive to UV — without protection, hyperpigmentation can easily develop. Avoid intense sunbathing and sunbeds.
We don't perform the treatment on tanned skin — a gap is needed after your last significant sun exposure. A fresh tan raises the risk of a skin reaction, which is why we check for this during qualification.
High temperatures intensify redness and swelling. It's best to skip the sauna, hammam and very hot baths for a day or two after treatment.
Skip very intense exertion for the first 24 hours — significantly increased circulation intensifies skin warming. A walk and normal activity are fine.
Since the epidermis stays untouched, you can usually apply makeup that same day. Choose gentle, hydrating products and avoid harsh acids and retinol for a few days.
The skin's surface stays untouched, so you can go back to work and your normal routine almost immediately — that's the essence of "zero downtime". Shaving is usually no problem.
