Laser lifting
“straight to the office”

Skin that gradually loses firmness, fine lines around the eyes and mouth, a grey, tired tone, the first sun-induced hyperpigmentation — these are classic signs of ageing and photoageing. You don't always want needles straight away, or a treatment that leaves you flaking for days. ClearLift is a laser lift with zero downtime: the Q-switched Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm) works deep in the dermis and stimulates it to produce its own collagen, without touching the epidermis.

That's why it's known as the "lunchtime facelift" — you leave the salon with virtually no visible signs and get straight back to your day. At J'adore Instytut, the treatment is performed by a doctor or experienced cosmetologist using the Harmony XL Pro laser platform. Below you'll find everything worth knowing before your first visit.

  • Early loss of firmness
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Grey, tired skin tone
  • Enlarged pores and uneven texture
  • Sun-induced hyperpigmentation and spots
  • Fine, superficial broken capillaries
  • Photoageing prevention
  • Anyone with no time for recovery

How it works

How it works

ClearLift uses a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser at a wavelength of 1064 nm. In simple terms: very short, powerful pulses of light pass through the epidermis and release their energy only deep in the dermis — exactly where collagen is produced. They work through what's known as the photomechanical effect: gently "waking up" fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing new collagen and elastin.

The key point: the epidermis stays untouched. There's no ablation (no vaporising of the skin's surface), no flaking, no days of redness. That's the source of its reputation as the "lunchtime facelift" — a laser treatment after which you go straight back to work. The effect doesn't appear instantly, though: new collagen forms gradually over the following weeks.

Three layers of skin in cross-section: the epidermis at the surface, the dermis beneath it, and deepest of all the subcutaneous tissue. Very short pulses pass through the epidermis without breaking it and release their energy only in the dermis. The specialist matches the density of the grid and the power to the area.
  1. Epidermisthe layer the beam enters through
  2. Dermisthe level where remodelling starts
  3. Subcutaneous tissuedeeper than the columns of the beam reach

Good to know: the same type of Nd:YAG laser that gently stimulates collagen production here can, at different settings and for different purposes, break down pigment (hyperpigmentation, tattoos) or close broken capillaries. The key lies in how it's set and what it's used for.

Ideal for

Ideal for

  1. Early loss of firmnessface and neck skin that's beginning to lose tension.
  2. Fine lines and wrinklesaround the eyes, mouth and forehead; a subtle smoothing effect without "switching off" your expressions.
  3. Grey, tired skin tonewhen skin looks dull and lifeless despite good sleep.
  4. Enlarged pores and uneven texturea gradual smoothing of the skin's surface.
  5. Sun-induced hyperpigmentation and spotsbrightening skin tone over a series of sessions.
  6. Fine, superficial broken capillariesas a supporting element in improving skin tone.
  7. Photoageing preventionfor slowing ageing processes before they become visible.
  8. Anyone with no time for recoverywhen you can't afford days of red, flaking skin.
  9. What ClearLift does very well: it improves skin quality, firmness and tone. What it won't do: it won't fill a deep static wrinkle, and it won't replace surgical lifting or filler where volume is missing. This is a treatment for skin quality, not volume.

Female and male zones

What's different

For her

ClearLift and women's skin — the precision your face needs

The most common goal is refreshed skin, a healthy glow and a gentle lift, with no visible signs on the surface. Women's skin can be thinner and more delicate, so parameters are set more gently, and the treatment fits easily into a busy schedule. This is classic ClearLift for women — a laser treatment you can have even right before an important event.

The areas we support

  1. face, eye and lip area, neck and décolletage;
  2. radiance and even skin tone, that "just back from holiday" look;
  3. prevention — slowing photoageing from around age 30 onwards;
  4. combines well with Botox and hyaluronic acid (the laser looks after skin quality, the injectables handle the rest).

For him

ClearLift and men's skin — a stronger stimulus, the same zero-downtime effect

Men's skin is thicker and firmer, so parameters are usually set higher to achieve a comparable stimulus. The goal: a rested, less tired look without changing your features — this is ClearLift for men, valued for its complete discretion (no visible signs, straight back to your next meeting).

The areas we support

  1. face, forehead, eye area, neck;
  2. smoothing fine lines and softening a "harsh", tired look;
  3. evening out grey, dull skin tone;
  4. zero downtime — shaving and a return to normal activities almost straight away (the skin's surface stays untouched).

Good to know: unlike many lasers, ClearLift is safe for all skin phototypes — including darker skin tones. That's because it works deep within the skin, not at the level of the epidermis, where melanin sits.

Safety

What really determines the result

With laser treatments, results and safety depend on a few factors worth asking about at any salon:

  1. Who performs it, and on what equipment

    At J'adore, the treatment is carried out by a doctor or experienced cosmetologist on the certified Harmony XL Pro platform (Alma Lasers). The specialist assesses your skin, selects the parameters and manages the series.

  2. Whether the parameters are matched to you

    There's no single "ClearLift setting". Energy, number of passes and choice of zones are matched to your skin phototype, skin thickness and goal (lifting, tone, texture) — which is why a consultation before the series matters.

  3. Eye protection

    Certified laser goggles are required at every wavelength — for you and for the person performing the treatment. That's standard practice, not an option.

  4. Qualification and contraindications

    Fresh tan, certain medications, a tattoo in the treatment area or an active infection are all reasons to stop or postpone — we check for these before starting.

Warning sign: a laser "for everyone, on demand, no questions asked" · A good salon always runs a proper consultation and qualification process — asking about tanning, medications, pregnancy, tattoos and infections. If someone offers laser treatment with no questions at all, "because it's safe anyway", that's a warning sign. You have the right to know what equipment you're being treated with and who is assessing your eligibility.

Contraindications

When to postpone treatment

Some contraindications are permanent, and some are temporary — in which case we simply postpone the treatment until the situation resolves. A specialist always carries out full qualification.

We don't perform it
  • A fresh tan or recent sun exposure / self-tannera gap is required; we don't treat tanned skin.
  • Photosensitising medications and products (photosensitivity)including certain antibiotics and retinoids; these need to be assessed and often require a break.
  • Isotretinoin (Roaccutane)an appropriate gap after finishing the course is advised, to be assessed by a specialist or doctor.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Active infection, inflammation or active acnein the treatment area.
  • Active herpes (cold sores)even elsewhere on the body; we postpone treatment until it's healed, and for recurrent cases a specialist may recommend preventive measures.
  • A tattoo or permanent makeup in the treatment areathe 1064 nm wavelength may react with pigment; we avoid or postpone treatment in that area.
  • Metal implants or gold threads in the arearequires individual assessment (often a medical consultation).

From the cosmetologist's chair

The thing people most often forget about laser treatments is the sun. A client will say "I was on holiday for a week, but I only got a little tan" — and that's enough to postpone treatment. A fresh tan and laser treatment don't mix. Another point: if you have a tattoo or permanent makeup in the area, be sure to mention it — we treat that zone separately.

This isn't a complete list — we'll discuss your medications, skin conditions and previous treatments individually at your consultation, and refer you for a medical consultation if there's any doubt.

What to expect

No surprises

Most importantly: you won't see the full effect on the same day. Right after treatment, skin looks refreshed and often has a nice "glow", but real improvement in firmness and texture comes from new collagen, and that takes weeks to build. That's why ClearLift works best as a series.

  1. Faza 1.right afterrefreshed skin and a "glow"; any slight redness fades within minutes
  2. Faza 2.first few daysskin looks more rested and radiant
  3. Faza 3.following weeksthe lifting effect and improved texture build — new collagen is at work
  4. Faza 4.after the seriesclearer improvement in firmness, tone and skin quality; maintained with further sessions
I often hear after the first session: "lovely glow, but I thought there'd be a lift straight away." That's completely normal — ClearLift builds its effect over time, because skin needs to produce new collagen itself. The first session is a starting point, not the finish line. That's why we plan a series and maintenance, rather than a single miracle session.

What's normal right after treatment

  • mild, temporary redness — usually fades within a few dozen minutes;
  • a feeling of warmth or gentle "heating" of the skin that passes quickly;
  • no flaking and no visible signs — you can apply makeup that same day.

The effect doesn't disappear suddenly — this isn't filler that "wears off". Skin quality improves gradually, and it needs refreshing just as gradually; with regular maintenance, you keep the results for longer.

ClearLift and your lifestyle

What you can and can't do, and when

The biggest advantage of ClearLift is having no real downtime — but a few simple rules will help you get the most from it and protect your freshly "warmed" skin.

  1. Sun and SPF

    SPF 50+ is essential

    This is the most important point: SPF 50+ is essential for several weeks after treatment. Your skin is working on new collagen and is more sensitive to UV — without protection, hyperpigmentation can easily develop. Avoid intense sunbathing and sunbeds.

  2. Fresh tan

    we don't combine this with treatment

    We don't perform the treatment on tanned skin — a gap is needed after your last significant sun exposure. A fresh tan raises the risk of a skin reaction, which is why we check for this during qualification.

  3. Sauna and hot baths

    skip for 1–2 days

    High temperatures intensify redness and swelling. It's best to skip the sauna, hammam and very hot baths for a day or two after treatment.

  4. Training and exertion

    take it easy for ~24 hours

    Skip very intense exertion for the first 24 hours — significantly increased circulation intensifies skin warming. A walk and normal activity are fine.

  5. Makeup and skincare

    usually the same day

    Since the epidermis stays untouched, you can usually apply makeup that same day. Choose gentle, hydrating products and avoid harsh acids and retinol for a few days.

  6. Daily life (shaving, work)

    return straight away

    The skin's surface stays untouched, so you can go back to work and your normal routine almost immediately — that's the essence of "zero downtime". Shaving is usually no problem.

Frequently asked questions

  1. QuestionWill ClearLift "take years off" straight away?
    AnswerNot straight away. Right after treatment, skin looks refreshed and often has a nice "glow", but the real lifting effect builds over the following weeks, as your skin produces new collagen. That's why we work in a series, rather than a single session.
  2. QuestionHow long do the results last?
    AnswerThis isn't filler that "wears off" — improvement in skin quality is gradual, and it needs refreshing just as gradually. Results last best with regular maintenance (occasional sessions throughout the year). Your specialist will help plan this schedule.
  3. QuestionWill ClearLift replace surgical lifting or filler?
    AnswerNo. ClearLift improves skin quality, firmness and tone, but it won't add volume where it's missing, and it won't replace surgery. Where the issue is volume or a deep static wrinkle, fillers or other treatments work better — we often combine these with ClearLift.
