Jalupro Young Eye, Nucleofill Eyes or Lumi Eyes — which eye-area preparation suits you?

There are three different preparations for the under-eye area that sound similar — but they work in quite different ways. Choosing the right one starts with understanding exactly what bothers you.

The eye area ages faster than the rest of the face — for a very simple reason: the skin here is three to four times thinner than on the cheek, has no sebaceous glands, and moves literally tens of thousands of times a day. We all know the results of this marathon: shadows that don't fade even after a good night's sleep, fine lines running from the corner of the eye, morning puffiness that doesn't settle by noon — and, with age, an increasingly visible hollow between the cheek and the lower eyelid.

Specialist preparations designed purely for the eye area address these issues — but each does so differently. Jalupro Young Eye, Nucleofill Eyes and Lumi Eyes offer three answers to the same question: how to refresh a tired look. They differ in mechanism, indications and who benefits most. Before your doctor recommends a specific preparation, it helps to know what sets them apart — so your consultation is a conversation, not guesswork.

Three preparations, three mechanisms

Before we compare them, one clarifying point: none of these preparations is simply "lip hyaluronic acid" used elsewhere. They're products designed specifically for the eye area — with lower density, adjusted osmolality, and tested for safety on the thin eyelid skin. The difference between them lies in which mechanism of ageing in this area they target.

Jalupro Young Eye

biorevitalisation + amino acids

  • A combination of hyaluronic acid with amino acids (glycine, proline, lysine, leucine)
  • Stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen naturally
  • Improves hydration, elasticity and skin firmness
  • Fine lines, grey or fatigued skin, first signs of ageing
  • Results build over time — a series of sessions

Nucleofill Eyes

polynucleotides + deep regeneration

  • Polynucleotides (PDRN) — DNA fractions with regenerative properties
  • Stimulates tissue repair at cellular level
  • Improves microcirculation and reduces vascular shadows
  • Skin showing signs of chronic fatigue, thin skin with visible blood vessels
  • Eases swelling and improves eyelid "heaviness"

Lumi Eyes

PDRN + HA — hydration and brightening

  • A combination of polynucleotides and hyaluronic acid in a single preparation
  • Intensive hydration + gentle regenerative stimulation
  • Reduces discolouration and greyness caused by poor microcirculation
  • Dark shadows, dehydrated skin, fatigue, uneven under-eye colour
  • A good choice for sensitive skin — a gentle profile

How to identify what your eye area actually needs

Most under-eye concerns are layered on top of one another — an isolated, single issue is rare. But there's usually one line, one reflection in the mirror, one moment that bothers you most. This simple home test helps you name it:

  • Check the colour of the shadow. If it's purple or bluish-pale and visible even after sleep — it's mainly vascular. Direction: Nucleofill Eyes or Lumi Eyes (they work on microcirculation).
  • Check the colour of the shadow again. If it's brownish or greyish and doesn't change with rest — it's melanin or thin, grey skin. Direction: Lumi Eyes (brightens, hydrates, evens out colour).
  • Gently touch the skin under your eye. If it's dry, rough, with fine lines but without an obvious hollow — it's a skin-quality issue. Direction: Jalupro Young Eye (collagen, hydration, elasticity).
  • Look at the fine lines by the corner and under the eye. If the skin looks thin and almost "translucent" — with visible blood vessels and no real thickness. Direction: Nucleofill Eyes (tissue regeneration, improved density).
  • Assess your overall condition: dehydration or ageing? If the skin is dehydrated and tired but doesn't quite match your age — stress, deficiencies, poor hydration from within. Direction: Lumi Eyes (the gentlest option, a good starting point).

When it's worth combining preparations — and with what

The good news: these three preparations aren't mutually exclusive — they can be used sequentially (across different visits) or alongside other treatments that address different "layers" of the problem. The logic behind combining them is the same as for the rest of the face: identify what's happening and where, then match the tools to the layers.

Jalupro Young Eye + eye-area mesotherapy

Mesotherapy cocktails complement the work of the amino acids, extending the effect across the whole eye socket area.

Nucleofill Eyes + botulinum toxin (Botox)

Botox relaxes the muscle responsible for crow's feet, while Nucleofill regenerates and thickens the skin itself. Different visits, complementary effects.

Lumi Eyes + platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

Both work regeneratively, and PRP supplies your own growth factors. A good synergy for sensitive, dehydrated skin.

Lumi Eyes → Nucleofill Eyes as a series

For skin that needs deeper work: start with Lumi Eyes (gentler), then follow with Nucleofill Eyes as reinforcement in a later series.

Jalupro Young Eye + exosomes

Exosomes amplify the repair signal — suited to skin with clear signs of photoageing and reduced density.

One important note worth remembering: a deep tear trough — a visible hollow between the lower eyelid and the cheek, casting a shadow even in good light — usually indicates volume loss and fat pad descent. None of the preparations above is the first choice here. A tear trough needs a different tool: a precisely injected specialist filler, often a low-density hyaluronic acid, applied by an experienced doctor. It's worth knowing this in advance, so your expectations stay realistic.
