Strengthening programme (series) — treatment at J'adore Instytut

Strengthening programme (series)

This is not a single 'rescue' treatment, but a planned programme. We cleanse, nourish and regenerate the scalp in stages. Results build up through a series — which is why they last.

SCALP & HAIR

Scalp care in stages
“a programme”

Increased hair loss after stress, childbirth or dieting is common. You might notice 'autumn' shedding or thinning at the parting.

In these situations, one treatment is rarely enough. A strengthening treatment is not a single session, but a planned programme. We select the series after a consultation. Each visit builds on the last. First, we prepare and cleanse the scalp. Then we nourish it. Finally, we regenerate and stabilise the result. This is how professional trichology works. The hair follicle has its own growth rhythm. Real strengthening is a matter of consistency, not a single 'miracle ampoule'. At J'adore Instytut, the programme is led by a trichologist or experienced cosmetologist. Below is everything you should know before starting a series.

  • Increased but reversible hair loss
  • Seasonal hair loss
  • Thinning and weakened condition
  • A scalp that cannot cope on its own
  • Prevention and maintenance
  • Preparation for stronger treatments

What it is

A programme, not a single treatment

A strengthening treatment is a planned series of sessions, not a single visit. We select it individually after a consultation. We arrange it so that subsequent stages build on each other. First, we prepare the scalp. Then we nourish and stimulate it. Finally, we regenerate and stabilise the result. This is the difference between 'trying a treatment' and real work on hair condition.

Some elements of the programme are standalone treatments. These have their own detailed pages where you can find full descriptions. Here, we show how we put them together. We explain the order, the reasons behind it, and what to realistically expect after a full series.

Fact: hair grows in cycles. Some follicles are in the growth phase, some are resting, and some are currently falling out. Therefore, you cannot 'fix everything at once' with one treatment. Real strengthening is a repeatable stimulus spread over time. It reaches follicles at different stages of their rhythm.

How it works

How it works

The programme works because hair follicles do not work in sync. At any moment, some are in the growth phase. Others are in a short transitional phase. Some are resting and preparing to shed the hair. A single stimulus only reaches the follicles that are ready for it. The rest simply 'sleep' through it. A series spread over time reverses this logic. Subsequent visits reach different groups of follicles at different stages of their rhythm.

The order of stages is not accidental. We clear the scalp of excess sebum and calloused epidermis. This clears the follicle openings. Ingredients provided in the next step reach exactly where they need to work. A nourished follicle responds better to the regeneration stage. To be honest: the treatment supports scalp and hair health, it is not a therapy for baldness. A follicle that has already vanished will not start working again. That is why we start with an assessment. If we suspect a systemic cause — such as deficiencies, thyroid issues, or skin disease — we refer you to a doctor instead of extending the series indefinitely.

Three levels of the scalp in cross-section: the stratum corneum with its flakes and sebum on top, the hair follicle openings beneath it, and deepest of all the dermis with the follicles. The successive stages of the course work in the stratum corneum and around the follicle openings. The treatment works at the surface — it does not go below the epidermis.
  1. Stratum corneum with sebumflakes and sebum lifted during the treatment
  2. Hair follicle openingthe opening we unblock during the treatment
  3. Dermis with folliclesdeeper than this cleansing reaches

Fact: the names of the hair cycle phases come from Greek. Anagen (from aná — 'up', the growth phase), katagen (from katá — 'down', the transitional phase) and telogen (from télos — 'end', the resting phase). Each follicle goes through this cycle independently of its neighbours. This is why progress in trichology is measured in months, not weeks.

Ideal for

Ideal for

  1. Increased but reversible hair lossafter stress, childbirth, a restrictive diet or infection (so-called telogen effluvium).
  2. Seasonal hair losstypical shedding in autumn or spring when you want to actively support your hair.
  3. Thinning and weakened conditionhair that is thinner, less dense, 'lifeless' or brittle.
  4. A scalp that cannot cope on its ownprone to seborrhoea, dandruff or tension (we start the programme by balancing the scalp).
  5. Prevention and maintenancewhen you want to maintain results from previous treatments or take care of your hair in advance.
  6. Preparation for stronger treatmentsa balanced, healthy scalp responds better to further therapy.
  7. The strengthening treatment supports the condition of the hair and scalp. It does not reverse advanced baldness. It does not replace diagnostics if a health issue (thyroid, deficiencies, skin condition) is behind the loss. That is why we start with a consultation.

What makes up the series

Stage by stage

We design every programme individually, but the logic remains constant: first order, then nourishment, finally regeneration. The treatments below have separate pages — click to learn the details of each.

  1. Stage 1 — scalp preparationGentle cleansing and a scalp peel remove excess sebum and epidermis. This 'unblocks' the follicle openings and makes subsequent treatments more effective.
  2. Stage 2 — nourishment and stimulationThis usually involves needle mesotherapy for the scalp (the needling element is described on a separate page). Selected plans may include PRP or exosomes. These provide follicles with ingredients and a stimulus to work.
  3. Stage 3 — regeneration and stabilisationGentle support for reconstruction and soothing the scalp between 'stronger' visits. This includes home care to maintain the result.
  4. Check-upsDuring the series, we check how the hair and scalp are responding. We modify the plan if necessary. The programme should be dynamic, not rigid.

Why does it work better than a single visit?

A prepared (cleansed) scalp absorbs nourishing treatments better. A nourished follicle responds better to regeneration. Each stage increases the effectiveness of the next. This is why a programme gives more lasting results than the same number of treatments performed randomly without a specific order.

Treatment for women and men

What is the difference?

For her

Why women lose hair differently

In women, hair loss is most often diffuse. You may notice thinning at the parting, a 'thinner' ponytail, or increased shedding after childbirth, dieting or stress. This is often telogen effluvium, which responds well to a strengthening programme. This is a classic strengthening treatment for women — focused on thickening and improving condition.

The areas we support

  1. diffuse thinning and a widened parting;
  2. telogen effluvium after childbirth, diet, infection or stress;
  3. seasonal increase in hair loss (autumn/spring);
  4. hair that is thin, brittle or 'lacking volume'.
For him

Why men lose hair differently — and what to do about it

In men, hair loss more often follows an androgenic pattern — receding hairline, thinning at the crown, and progressive hair miniaturisation. Here, the programme supports and maintains condition, but the earlier you start, the better. This is a strengthening treatment for men — with an emphasis on consistency and realistic expectations.

The areas we support

  1. receding hairline and thinning at the crown;
  2. early miniaturisation — the moment when the programme gives the most;
  3. scalp prone to seborrhoea (common in men);
  4. maintaining results between stronger treatments.

Safety

Safety and honest expectations

With a strengthening treatment, a realistic approach is most important — and it is worth asking about this in any clinic:

  1. Diagnosis first

we design the programme after a consultation with trichoscopy, not 'by eye'. Without this, we do not know if it is telogen effluvium that will pass, or a process requiring a different approach.

  2. Results build up through a series

We assess the first changes after several visits, not one. Hair needs time to enter the growth phase. Anyone promising a 'miracle after one treatment' is not being truthful.

  3. The programme does not replace medical treatment

If hair loss is caused by the thyroid, deficiencies, anaemia or a scalp condition, the treatment supports it, but a doctor treats the cause. A good trichologist will refer you further when necessary.

Red flag: "guaranteed regrowth after one series" · No honest clinic will guarantee specific regrowth. It depends on the cause of the loss, the stage, and your reaction. A promise of '100% results' or a programme started without a diagnosis is a warning sign. Similarly, sudden, violent hair loss in handfuls, pain or scalp changes — these require a dermatologist first, then a cosmetological treatment.

Contraindications

When to postpone

Some contraindications apply to the entire programme, some only to specific stages (especially those with needling — you can find their full list on the page for that treatment). Generally, we postpone or modify the treatment if:

We don't perform it
  • Active inflammation or scalp infectionfirst we soothe the skin, then start the programme.
  • Fresh, intense scalp tanfor treatments on irritated, 'burnt' skin, we wait.
  • Sudden, violent hair loss in handfuls, pain, or skin changesthis is a signal that a dermatologist is needed first, not a cosmetological treatment.
  • Unbalanced general conditions(e.g. thyroid, anaemia, deficiencies) — the treatment supports them, but a doctor manages the cause; we often combine both approaches.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeedingand medications taken — discussed individually; some stages are then omitted or modified.

From the trichologist's office

The most frequently overlooked issue: people treat sudden hair loss in handfuls as a 'cosmetology topic'. This can be a signal that requires tests and a dermatologist first. It is better to lose a week on a diagnosis than six months on a programme that does not address the cause.

This is not a complete list. We will go through your medications, illnesses and previous treatments individually during the consultation — and only then design a safe series plan.

What to expect

How the programme works

  1. Faza 1.Startconsultation + trichoscopy → individual series plan
  2. Faza 2.First visitsscalp preparation and first nourishing treatments
  3. Faza 3.Mid-seriesregular stimulation — follicles enter a work rhythm
  4. Faza 4.After a full seriesresult assessment: better condition, less hair loss, maintenance plan
The hardest part of the treatment is patience. Some people ask after the first visit, "so, why can't I see it yet?". This is normal. Results are not assessed at the start of a series, but after several treatments when the hair has had time to respond. Those who stick to the plan usually see a difference.

The treatment and your lifestyle

What helps and what hinders

The programme works best when you support it between visits. Hair grows 'from the inside', so lifestyle really matters — and a few things can weaken the result.

  1. Home care

    do it regularly

A selected shampoo, serum and maintenance ampoules between visits are part of the programme, not an extra. They 'extend' the effect of the treatments over time.

  2. Regularity of visits

    stick to the plan

The most important factor for success. Skipping or postponing visits breaks the rhythm of the stimulus — and weakens the effect of the entire series.

  3. Diet, sleep, stress

    support from the inside

Iron or vitamin deficiencies and chronic stress realistically increase hair loss. Taking care of these increases the effectiveness of the treatment.

  4. Strong scalp irritation

    avoid right after treatment

Very hot water, aggressive peels or harsh styling products right after a visit irritate the scalp. Leave it alone for the first few hours.

  5. Needling stage (mesotherapy/PRP)

    aftercare recommendations

On days with a needle element, its specific recommendations apply (washing, sauna, swimming pool). You can find them on the page for that treatment. Please follow them.

  6. Cigarettes

    realistically harm hair

Smoking worsens blood supply to the scalp and weakens follicles. It works directly against the treatment. Cutting down helps the results.

Frequently asked questions

  1. QuestionWhy is it a series and not a single treatment?
AnswerBecause hair grows in cycles and follicles are at different stages. One treatment is a one-off stimulus — real strengthening requires repeatability spread over time. That is why the treatment is a programme of several visits, not a single meeting.
  2. QuestionHow many treatments does the series include?
AnswerThis depends on the cause of hair loss, hair condition and the goal — therefore, we set the number and pace only after a consultation with trichoscopy. We do not provide a 'universal' number because every scalp reacts differently.
  3. QuestionWhen will I see the result?
AnswerNot after the first visit. The first changes are assessed after several treatments, once the hair has had time to enter the growth phase. Patience and regularity are the most important 'ingredients' here.
  4. QuestionWill the treatment reverse baldness?
AnswerHonestly — it is not a treatment for baldness. It supports the condition of the scalp and hair, limits reversible hair loss and helps thicken hair, but it has its limits with advanced, permanent processes. We will tell you this directly during the consultation.
