A treatment room at J'adoreSCALP & HAIR
Hair starts to become thinner. More and more is left on your comb and pillow.
Your parting widens — this is when many people look for a “miracle” shampoo, while the problem lies deeper: in the scalp, at the hair papilla itself. Needle mesotherapy for the scalp is one of the foundations of trichology. It involves a series of precise micro-injections of nourishing cocktails directly into the hair follicle area, where a cream or serum cannot reach. The aim is not to “mask” the issue, but to provide genuine support for hair condition at its source — better nourishment of the hair papilla, a longer growth phase and reduced excessive shedding. This treatment supports hair condition, ideally following diagnosis and usually as a series. Honestly, one treatment will not reverse advanced hair loss. However, a well-managed course can noticeably improve hair density and quality. At J'adore Instytut, it is performed by a trichologist or experienced cosmetologist. Below, you will find everything worth knowing before your first visit.
series of treatments + maintenance visits
How it works
Each hair grows from a hair follicle and is nourished by a tiny structure at its base — the hair papilla. When the papilla is undernourished or “tired”, the hair enters its resting phase and falls out faster than new hair can grow. Mesotherapy involves micro-injections of a nourishing cocktail delivered superficially, precisely into this area. This delivers active ingredients where a cream or serum from a bottle simply cannot reach through the skin barrier.
The cocktails include biomimetic peptides (which signal the follicle to “work”), vitamins and trace elements (building blocks and support for cellular metabolism), hyaluronic acid (hydration and a better environment for the follicle), and ingredients that reduce excessive shedding. The principle is simple: a better-nourished papilla → a longer growth phase → less shedding and stronger, thicker hair. This is why mesotherapy is considered a foundation of procedural trichology, rather than a cosmetic addition.

Ideal for
We always determine which cocktail and how long a series will be right for you after a consultation with trichoscopy — because “hair loss” has different causes, and not every cause can be reversed by the same treatment.
Women’s and men’s zones
In women, diffuse thinning and telogen hair loss are most common — after childbirth, stress, hormonal changes or dieting. Hair sheds evenly, density falls and the parting widens, but the hairline usually remains unchanged. Needle mesotherapy of the scalp in women works well here as nutritional support. The follicles are often healthy and simply need nourishing.
The areas we support
In men, androgenetic hair loss is most often the issue — receding temples, thinning at the crown and a receding hairline. Honesty is essential here: needle mesotherapy of the scalp in men supports and slows the process, improves the condition of still-active follicles and is often combined with other approaches, but it will not “regrow” hair where the follicle has already completely disappeared. The earlier you start, the better the result.
The areas we support
Did you know? A healthy hair lives for several years. During that time, it grows at roughly one centimetre per month — but only while it is active. At any one time, some scalp hairs are resting, so “a handful on the comb” can be natural. Trichoscopy helps distinguish what is normal from a sign that your follicles need support.
Safety and hygiene
This treatment breaks the skin barrier (micro-injections with a needle), so its results and safety depend on several things worth asking about in every clinic:
At J'adore, the treatment is performed by a trichologist or experienced cosmetologist — following a consultation with trichoscopy to identify the cause and select the cocktail. Without a diagnosis, treatment performed “blindly” is a shot in the dark.
Single-use needles, sterile products and a clean scalp — these are absolute essentials for every treatment that breaks the skin barrier.
We work with reputable, certified scalp cocktails. The product’s origin and correct storage matter as much as the technique.
A good specialist is more likely to temper promises than exaggerate them — and will indicate when medical diagnostics are needed first.
A warning sign: sudden or severe hair loss · If your hair has started falling out suddenly, in handfuls, over a short period, or you have developed hairless patches, itching, flaking or scalp inflammation — diagnostics come first, not treatment. These symptoms may have dermatological, hormonal (including thyroid-related) or deficiency-related causes and require medical assessment. Mesotherapy may offer support later, but it does not replace identifying the cause.

Contraindications
Some contraindications are permanent, while others are temporary. In these cases, we simply postpone the treatment until the issue has passed. This treatment breaks the skin barrier, so we approach qualification with care.
From the trichologist’s salon
The most commonly overlooked issues are herpes and scalp inflammation. People may think, “It is only a minor issue.” With a treatment involving injections, even a small active outbreak is a real risk. It is better to postpone for a few days and perform the treatment on calm, healthy skin.
This is not a complete list. We discuss your medication, health conditions, scalp condition and previous treatments individually during a consultation with trichoscopy.

What to expect
Most importantly: you will not see results after one treatment. Follicles need time, and new hair still needs to grow back — which is why we perform mesotherapy in a series, and assess real change after weeks, not days.
The most common disappointment comes from hoping for a “miracle after one session”. Mesotherapy works at the roots of the problem. First, we reduce hair loss. Density builds later, as new hair needs time to grow back. Patience and regularity make more difference here than a “stronger” cocktail.
The result is not lifelong — hair condition is maintained, not “fixed once and for all”. That is why, after completing the series, we usually move to less frequent maintenance visits tailored to your scalp.

Scalp mesotherapy and your lifestyle
The most frequent questions are not about the injection itself, but what comes afterwards: washing your hair, exercise, sauna, sun exposure and colouring. There is one rule — during the first hours and for a day or two, we protect fresh scalp micro-injuries from infection, irritation and overheating.
Leave your scalp alone on the same day. The first wash is usually the following day. Use a gentle shampoo and lukewarm water. Avoid vigorous rubbing and scratching.
A heavily sweaty scalp and increased circulation immediately after injections may cause irritation. It is best to postpone intense exercise for 24 hours.
High temperatures, sweat and chlorinated water are not suitable for fresh micro-injections. Wait one to two days before using the sauna, hammam or swimming pool.
Protect freshly injected scalp skin from intense sun exposure — wear headwear during the first few days, especially in summer.
Postpone dyes, toners and harsh cosmetics for several days, until your scalp has healed. It is worth planning your treatment schedule and colouring in advance.
You can return to work the same day. Comb your hair gently. Do not use a sharp comb against your scalp. Wait until healing before intensive massage or a scalp peel.
Needle scalp mesotherapy
These three treatments are often confused, as they all target hair and involve micro-injections. However, they do different things. They may be best suited to different situations — or combined into one treatment programme:
delivers ready-to-use nutrients
does not use your blood and does not replace diagnosis of the cause
uses your growth factors
requires a blood draw; it does not “inject” ready-made vitamins like a cocktail
strong regenerative signals
a different tool from a classic nourishing cocktail — selected after consultation
Combine with
Mesotherapy fits well into a broader trichology treatment programme. The combination, order and intervals are decided by the trichologist during consultation, but the general logic remains the same: first, we cleanse and prepare the scalp. Then we nourish and stimulate the follicles. The whole programme is carried out over time.
There is no single “best” hair treatment — there is the best one for a particular scalp and a particular cause of hair loss. A combined treatment programme, carried out over time, is often most effective rather than one “once and for all” session. That is why we start with trichoscopy, not a price list.
Cocktails and preparations
The term “scalp mesotherapy” covers several types of cocktail. They differ in composition and purpose. You do not choose a preparation “off the shelf” — the trichologist selects it based on the cause of hair loss, your scalp condition and history. Below are examples of the approaches we use:
A biomimetic peptide-based formulation designed to prolong the growth phase and reduce hair loss.
Dla kogoFor thinning and weakened hair, when the follicle needs a stimulating signal.
A multi-ingredient revitalising formulation — vitamins, amino acids, trace elements and hyaluronic acid nourish the follicle environment.
Dla kogoFor a “tired” scalp and hair that need comprehensive nourishment.
An ingredient associated with supporting hair anchorage in the scalp and reducing hair loss.
Dla kogoSupport for excessive hair loss as part of a treatment course.
Fact: Why the differences? They result from different compositions and purposes. One cocktail stimulates more strongly, another mainly nourishes, while another supports hair retention in the scalp. What matters is not the name on the packaging, but selection according to the cause of your hair loss and a consistently followed series. The trichologist selects the exact preparation and protocol after trichoscopy.

Information. Needle mesotherapy for the scalp is a trichological and cosmetology treatment that supports scalp and hair condition. It is not a treatment for baldness or a medical procedure, and it does not replace dermatological or endocrinological diagnostics. If hair loss is severe or sudden, consult a dermatologist or trichologist. The above text is for information purposes. A trichologist or experienced cosmetologist determines the indications and contraindications during a consultation with trichoscopy.
